Kagome's POV


It was not an easy doing.
Courage and guts.
I needed them at this instant,
I had them before,
but they have ran away from me.
I stared into the halls
which were settled by stillness
and lonely abyss.
I found myself following it
and soon I was facing his back,
his pools of honey,
his entire front side.

I just stayed quiet for
a moment or two.
Do not wear my patience.
How do I ask him?

Yes.
What causes your heart to break?
I can’t say what emotion over took him
because there was non
to be seen.

I looked at the window,
but not through it.
It was a test for myself.
I had to know if h really was out there.
I had to know if he still wanted me.
It was morning,
early in the morning
and I woke up from a
restless sleep.
Sweat beaded my forehead
and my breath came in gasps.
Something gripped me then
and I ran.
I didnt know where
I was going exactly.
I let my feet take me.
Ramming open a door I flew into
the figure in the bed.
I buried myself
in the folds of the blankets
and against the warmth.
What is the meaning of this?!
I gripped his waist
and cried on his chest.
He’s out there.
He wants me!
Arms encased me
and comforted me.


Sesshomaru's POV

What was I to do with
the woman in my arms.
I felt the pity for her
that developed in time
as much as time allowed.
Ever since she came,
it felt like the old me disappeared
and replaced by another
with a less colder heart.
I was at a dilemma
and could find no one
to confine in.
I stared at the window
sensing him as always.
I had to find him and have Kagome’s
worries vanish.
I felt the need to protect her
grow stronger and stronger,
thicker and thicker.


I wasn’t able to leave my own home
for the fear of him breaking into it.
I fear of him taking her.
I fear of losing her.
I had servant go out,
meetings held within my own walls,
everything was down here.
I had to convince her to come out,
that I will protect her.
My walls were suffocating me.

Walking through the halls,
I followed her smell of vanilla
and surprised to find her where she was.
She was surrounded by grass and daisies.
She just sat there,
her eyes looked blank
and somehow golden.
It was a private garden in the middle
of my whole castle.
It was beautiful.


I couldn’t push her,
I knew that.
It was just time that can heal her.
She had to trust herself
that she’ll wont let anything
happen to her.
I’ll have to wait,
but have a feeling it will be soon.



Another’s POV

I smelled her.
Oh, it was so strong.
She was outside.
She was coming closer
to her steps of recovery,
but when I make my move
it’ll all go to waste.
I will have power over her.
I will make her scream my name
like the many times before
only louder.
