The next morning, they were woken up by the sounds of men screaming, not too far from their camp. Chaynes pulled out an AK-74U from a holster on his back and pulled back a switch, "Get up Lance, it's showtime…" He said quietly, just above a whisper. Lance slipped away from the sleeping Shippo and slid some military shotgun shells into his Riot Shotgun, "Gotcha." Lance said, pumping his weapon.

In about an hour, they were out into a large field that dipped inward into the ground. Chaynes pointed toward the dip in the ground and Lance nodded. This was a perfect hiding place for the enemy. Chaynes laid down in a prone position, Lance doing the same. "Safety off, enemy sighted." Chaynes whispered as he handed Lance his binoculars. Lance gave a devilish smile and turned toward Chaynes, "Open fire…" The two reached their index finger toward their triggers and pulled back. Lance pumped his gun after every shot while Chaynes held tight to the trigger, as the enemy in the dip met their deaths. They weren't expecting a thing, the bullets rained in on them as a soldier down in the dip screamed, "HINTERHALT!" Chaynes jumped over the edge and rolled down. Most of the men were dead, ripped to bits by the shower of bullets. Lance dropped down on his feet and pumped the smoking shotgun again, "They're making a run for it!" Shouted Lance. Chaynes rolled to the side and pulled a hand grenade from his belt, throwing it at the fleeing group of foreigners. The grenade blew up and sent bloody body parts spiraling through the air, a gory scene indeed! Chaynes laughed out loud, "BITE ME FUCKERS!" He screamed. Lance suddenly noticed something, the grenade only singed him and he had made it across the bottom of the large dip in the field. Lance gave a small smirk and pulled a shuriken out of his cloak, "You ain't going nowhere!" He said as he threw the Japanese throwing knife. The blade stuck into the man's throat, the heavy blood muffled his gasps for air as he both died from suffocation and blood loss.

Lance smiled in self-appreciation, "Heh, sweet…" When he turned around, Lance saw Chaynes investigating one of the bodies. "These guys are from Germany…" He said quietly. Lance looked down and closed his eyes in shame, "Our own people…fuck I can't believe we did this!" Chaynes shook his head and turned around, beginning to walk up the hill, "What other choice do we have" He said as he started up the side. "You're right…we made it our soul duty to protect Kagome and that's what we're gonna do!" Lance said, throwing his hand up in the air. Chaynes nodded and threw Lance an emblem from the body of a dead soldier, "Take it as proof of our victory." He said as he advanced up the hill. "Thanks." Lance answered.

Another hour passed and they were back at camp. Kagome jumped into the air and screamed, "CHAYNES, LANCE, YOU'RE SAFE!" The two sighed in unison and stood there, shaking their heads. "Come on Kagome, you know us we're never in that big of trouble." Lance said, laughing. Shippo ran to Chaynes and tugged at his big pant leg, "Chaynes, can you and Lance tell me more stories?" He asked innocently. "Of course little guy, go find yourself something to sit on and we'll tell you about our battle today." Chaynes said, giving a bright smile. On the other side of camp, Inuyasha and Kagome sat cross-legged in the grass, Miroku and Sango standing beside them, "If you ever saw that kid you'd think he'd never hurt a soul." Miroku said quietly. "Yeah, well he has you can tell when he fights." Inuyasha said, growling. Kagome put her hand on Inuyasha's shoulder, "Um…Inuyasha…I'm sorry for saying that stuff about you…" She said softly. Inuyasha looked down at the ground as he smelled something that upset him dearly, he didn't want to look but he knew what was happening. Kagome was crying. Inuyasha hated it when she cried. Kagome struggled to hold back her tears as hard as she could, but it was just no use. The tears seemed to flow out of her eyes and she broke down right there. Inuyasha grabbed her and held her in his arms, "It's okay Kagome…" But it was not okay, at least for Kagome. She gasped for air and cried even harder, coughing and buried her face in Inuyasha's Haori. Inuyasha looked like he was going to cry as well, but he didn't. Instead, he tipped Kagome's head up towards him to look into her teary eyes, "Inuya…" She was muffled by Inuyasha kissing her on the lips. They were so soft, and he liked the taste. Kagome let out small moans as he pressed his tongue gently against her lips. Kagome slowly opened up and Inuyasha slid his tongue into her mouth.

For about five minutes they explored each other's mouths with their tongues, savoring every single bit of it. Miroku and Sango looked at each other and smiled, "Let's leave them be." Sango said, taking Miroku's hand. The two on the ground didn't even notice them. Miroku smiled and looked away, trying to hide an unexpected blush, "Heh, finally decided I'm the one?" He asked with a smirk. Sango smiled passionately, "Maybe…" She said as she leaned in and licked his lips. Miroku's eyes widened, "Sango, is that you?" He asked, confused. Sango continued to smile, "Of course it is, my love…"

Back over where Chaynes, Lance, and Shippo were…

Shippo had fallen asleep and Lance and Chaynes were talking amongst themselves about tomorrow's battle plans when Lance caught sight of what was happening. Inuyasha and Kagome, Miroku and Sango, two pairs caught in a spiral of passion. A smile crept across his face and he tapped Chaynes on the shoulder, "Hey bro, check it out…" Chaynes turned toward where Lance had pointed and blew up in an eruption of anger and jealousy, "MOTHERFUCKING SON OF A BITCH!" He screamed, standing up quickly. A wave of magic surrounded him during this furious outburst.

All four of them stopped what they were doing and stared up at him. Shippo woke up and Lance stepped back, "Fuck…" He mumbled as he drew out his Riot Shotgun from his cloak again and fumbled in his pocket for some anesthetic shells, but failed to find any, "Damn, should've stocked up before I left." Lance thought to himself. Chaynes turned towards him and his eyes lit up with malice, "It ain't gonna work this time bro, I'll kill you before you even make a move." Chaynes spoke with an echoing voice. Kagome got up from the ground and looked at him, straight in the eyes, "Why are you doing this?" She asked, once again shivering with tears. Chaynes' eyes showed even more anger and malice than before, "You don't remember?" He screamed. "Remember what?" Kagome asked, really confused. Chaynes sighed, "Let me refresh your memory…"

Kagome and her friends were talking to her friends while waiting outside at school, "So, are you going to talk to `him' yet?" One of her friends asked. Kagome's mind suddenly went completely numb. Chaynes Neuro, the new kid from Germany had just arrived. Kagome's friends hid her blushing face from Chaynes and his friend Lance Kellikan (also from Germany, but has been there since the start of school). Both of them were Goths, and most of the time, other kids pick on them for no real reason at all. "Go talk to him Kagome!" Another one of her friends whispered. "But…oh ok…" Kagome said, finally giving in. She broke away from her friends and walked over to him. Chaynes didn't even see her at first, until she finally got up the courage and said something, "Um…hi Chaynes…" He turned toward her and flipped his hair out of his eyes, revealing beautiful red-colored irises with silver slashes around the pupils, "…Hi…what's your name?" He asked. "K…Kagome…" She answered him slowly. "Kagome…Higurashi?" Chaynes asked Kagome. "Yeah how'd you know?" "Hojo talks about you all the time, he says you're his woman…is that true?" Kagome's eyes widened at this, "N…no…of course not…he wishes!" For a while she stuttered until finally, she blew up. "I fucking hate that goddamn faggot!" Chaynes stepped back, "Woah…ok…so…do you…wanna go somewhere with me tonight?" (It's Friday, ok?) Kagome's cheeks turned beat red, "Sure! Of course! I'd love to Chaynes!" A smile finally showed on Chaynes' face just as Lance interrupted, "Are you two gonna talk all day, the bell just rang!" Both Chaynes and Kagome looked toward the school, almost everyone was already inside, "SHIT!" They both screamed at the same time as they struggled to get to their classes on time.

When the bell ring, signaling the end of school, Kagome jumped up quickly and ran to where Chaynes' last class was (he's in…umm…science) and ran to the room, expecting to see him. She saw him alright, he and Lance both, sitting in the cleared out classroom. Around them, were Hojo and his friends, "Heard you took my girl, Neuro." Hissed Hojo, as his buddies laughed. "Yeah…I am…and she's not your fucking woman so bite me you bastard!" Chaynes' voice deepened threateningly. Hojo chuckled a bit and turned toward his boys, "Watch this…" He whispered, chuckling more and more. Lance stared off into the distance, as if he had blocked out his mind completely. Kagome stood at the door, watching closely at this incident. "I know what'll get his attention!" Laughed one of the kids as he punched Lance in the face, breaking his concentration. The boy flew back and screamed in pain, "HOLY SHIT! HIS FACE IS LIKE A FUCKING BRICK WALL!" Everyone except Chaynes (who had an evil smile) was looking at Lance, thinking to see a damn bloodbath, but instead they saw the Lance that they had seen before, looking at the wall as if it were something interesting beyond human imagination. Chaynes suddenly stood up, unnoticed by the rest of them, except for Kagome and Lance. He unhooked a heavy, spiked strap from his baggy black goth pants.

Hojo turned around just in time to see Chaynes twist the strap around his neck and pull back, "Ich werde Sie in Hölle, Weibchen sehen…" (I'll translate for all you people who don't know German, it means "See you in hell, bitch…"). As Chaynes pulled the strap tighter and tighter, the REALLY sharp spikes slid into Hojo's throat. His sharp gasps of pain caught the others' attention and they tried to save him, but they had failed. Chaynes had pulled his tightest and hit a main artery, causing blood to gush out and pour all over. Then, Hojo hit the ground, his lifeless arms lay straddled near the wound. The rest of them sat there silent, in shock from what they had just seen. One boy in particular broke down and began to cry, "Damn it all, why'd this have to fucking happen?" When Chaynes turned his attention to the boy on the ground. At that moment, another one of Hojo's friends charged toward Chaynes, but Chaynes was ready and caught him by the neck and broke all of his ribs at once on his left side. He cried out in pain, "OH SHIT! SOMEONE PLEASE FUCKING HELP ME!" The kid's eyes rolled into the back of his head as Lance stood up and stabbed him in the back of the head, sending a shot of blood that hit him in the face. "Son of bitch…he was getting annoying…" Lance grumbled as he turned toward the rest of the group (whoever was remaining, that is).

Kagome finally couldn't take anymore and rushed in, "No more killing you guys!" She screamed as all attention was drawn to her. She was about to say something else when the principal ran in, "What the hell's going on here?" He asked before he saw the blood and the dead bodies on the grounds. "HOLY FUCKING SHIT SOMEONE CALL THE POLI…" He couldn't finish because Chaynes had shot him about thirty times pretty much everywhere with his G-18, splattering pieces of him against the wall. Kagome flinched and turned around, "Oh gods!" Kagome cried, wiping some blood off of her face. Just then, a canister of tear gas smashed through a window, filling the room with nauseating vapors. Chaynes and Lance tried to keep the gases out by covering their mouths and noses with their shirts and dove to the ground. Kagome looked around, confused, "What the fuck's happening?" She cried, suddenly getting yanked down by Chaynes, "Do what we did, it'll help you breath!" He screamed, slamming an ammo clip into his weapon. Lance pulled out a Riot Shotgun and pumped it, "They're not getting anywhere near us!" He said, laughing. A big man suddenly came toward them and went for Chaynes, getting him by the neck, "MOTHER FUCKER, YOU'RE GONNA FUCKING REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T SET ME DOWN!" Screamed Chaynes, who punched the man in the stomach.

The man dropped him as Lance picked up Kagome, "Let's go, Chaynes isn't going nowhere, he's already accepted what will happen." Chaynes nodded slowly and turned around to fight, giving Kagome a quick smile. Right when he did this, four men jumped on him and held him down. Lance dove out the window and ran as fast as he could, making it to her house.

He set her down and took a deep breath, "Okay…I'm not going to school for a while…but at least…I…got you…safe." He struggled to say, still trying to breathe. Kagome `s eyes filled with tears and she held him tight, "What're they going to do to him?" She sobbed loudly. "Probably just lock em' up." Lance told her calmly. "They're not going to kill him?" She asked. "No…not on counts of insanity, those were men from the Tokyo asylum."

School was resumed, but Chaynes was never allowed there again, as also Lance. When the war broke out Chaynes escaped from the asylum in all the hellish commotion.

"You remember me now?" Hissed Chaynes. "Y…yes…it's just that…with all the travelling I…" Kagome stopped and looked down at the ground. "You forgot, huh?" Chaynes asked, really pissed and annoyed. "Yes, but…" This time he cut her off, "After all I did for you back then Kagome you fucking go off with some son of a bitch from the past and forget me?" His voice got more and more threatening every time he spoke. "What did you do for me at school, you just went and killed them!" Kagome screamed at him. "Hojo was fucking planning to rape and kill you that day, and then blame it on me." Chaynes said, trying to push his rage back. She stopped and stared at him, "But…you would've just killed him anyway." Kagome's said as she awaited his reply. Chaynes shook his head, "No, I always hold back, but that day Lance and I had planned to kill them to prevent you from being hurt."

Kagome's eyes glistened and a teardrop ran down her cheek, "How could I have done this, I'm so sorry Chaynes!" She cried, falling to her knees and bursting into tears.

Inuyasha growled and ran towards her, "You bastard, what did you do?" He screamed, leaping into the air. He extended his claws extended out towards the form of pure malice that was Chaynes. But instead of the satisfying feel of claws to flesh, Inuyasha had hit air, "What the fuck?" He screamed as a large blade went straight through him.
