Chapter one

She really didn't know why she was looked down upon. She was happy, beautiful, smart….and a demon. But she didn't know that. She didn't really know that her life was a result of an assault. It wasn't her fault. Her own father wasn't really even her father. She was lied to her whole life. But she couldn't help it. She was sweet, innocent, till the day she realized the truth. This is the tale of Hana…..the protector of the Shikon no tama.

Kagome cried her self to sleep for the eighth time that night. It had been 7 months since they had defeated Naraku, and completed the Jewel. But it had not come without a price.

The night before the battle, She, Kagome went out to take a bathe in a nearby lake. She was happy---Inuyasha finally confessed her love to her. She was totally unaware of Naraku, who had taken another form. She was quiet as she tried to sneak back to the village that night through the forest. But she was so foolish. There, in the clearing, Naraku raped her. She had no chance to scream, nor purify for he put a sutra on her, making her immobile. She was his for the taking; and he took her for all she was worth.

When Naraku was finished with her, he just left her there in th clearing, naked, and beaten both physically and mentally. By the time they had found out that Kagome was gone, it was mourning, and she was unconscious. You can only imagine what Inuyasha did. He was hurt, angry……sad. He couldn't help the one he cared for most.
The next day, the battle started there, in the same spot near the village. Their allies were there to help: Koga, Ayame….and even Seshomaru. But what surprised them the most was the fact they had two more powerful allies: Kane and Akina. They were lovers of Seshomaru and Koga, though Kane and Seshomaru were very secretive about it. (None even knew till the three months later when they announced they were mated) After a tiring battle, Naraku was finally defeated, being purified by the Shikon no tama, and being killed by Kane, who slit his throat.

Now, Seven months later, she laid there in her bed pregnant with Naraku's child. Everyone had told her to kill it—but she refused to. The child was not at fault because of her father. She would be raised like a normal child. She hated the pregnancy- the pain was unbearable. But everyone was helping her through it, Especially Kane. Though he seemed a heartless Youkai, she was actually sweet and gentle to those who earned her respect. She explained everything to her about giving birth and how to soothe the child, when in her womb, and out.

But Inuyasha was the hardest to deal with. Even though they were mates, he had a difficult time accepting the child that wasn't his. He'd often go on a rampage in his full demon form---- till he heard and felt the baby move.

It was at dinner with Sango and Miroku, when Kagome squeak and rubbed her stomach fondly. Inuyasha as usually, started to move away, but hesitantly put his hand on her stomach. After that, he was basically in love with the unborn child, acting like a mate should. But Kagome couldn't help but cry because of who the father was. Even in death, he still haunted her. But, the good thing was that the Shikon No Tama was safe, and in her care. Quietly, she slept, and cuddled into Inuyasha when he came in, after eating.

Author's notes:

Okay, this is my first story. So, be easy on me, Kay? I appreciate constructive criticism, but flaming I wont accept. I just want to know what you all think, about it. I know this chapter was short, but I couldn't help it, I can't put the rape scene in there cause I don't know how to describe it. The other chapters will be Longer, I promise….

Also, I'd like a Beta reader as well!! ^^
