A/N I got a question about why Sesshomaru doesn't just use his sword to heal Kagome, and the answer is that he still can't not wield it properly and he was to panicked to try.

Without any fuss Sesshomaru held out his hand. The old woman efficiently sliced a deep three-inch cut down the center of Sesshomarus palm, he didn't even flinch. Picking up Kagome limp hand she made the same cut on her palm. " Grip her hand so that your wounds align." The old woman said. Doing as he as instructed Sesshomaru moved towards Kagome and gripped her sliced palm in his own.

Taking a long white cloth the old woman tied there hands together and cleaned up the excess blood that has dripped onto the floor. " You must stay as ye are for twenty four hours, once the new rising comes you may untie yourselves and leave." The old woman announced. " The girl will be ready to travel by then." Acknowledging the woman with an incline of his head Sesshomaru settled down next to Kagome on the cot and stared up at the ceiling, waiting for morning.

As soon as the sun rose Sesshomaru carefully untied the cloth that bound their hands. After they were free of each other Sesshomaru carefully inspected Kagomes wound to make sure it had healed. He had been so concerned with making sure Kagome was ok that he had yet to notice her change.

When he did notice he froze, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He knew Kagome would be turned into a demon as a result of their binding, but he never thought she would be so beautiful. Her raven hair had turned a deep midnight blue and had two silver streaks framing her face. She had grown feminine claws that were silver blue. She also had two dark blue stripes on her cheeks that were lined with silver. The shadow on her eyes was the same silver blue as her claws. All in all she was magnificent.

He didn't know how long he simply stared at her, but was brought back to reality when Kagome began to stir. Her long dark lashes slowly fluttered open to reveal the most beautiful eyes. They were amber like his around the catlike pupil with an outer ring of royal blue. " S..s.sesshomaru?" Kagome asked her voice horse. " I'm here." Sesshomaru answered a rare tenderness in his voice. "Where are we?" " We are in the cottage of an old healer and family friend." "Why aren't I dead.' Kagome asked. " I have bound us together Kagome it was the only way to save you life."

I was then that Kagome noticed her claws with a gasp of shock she brought them up to her face to examine them closer. " I-I'm a demon."

Kagome said in breathless wonder. " Yes it is a side effect of the bond." Sesshomaru answered. Kagome accepted this with out question and tried to sit up only to have her muscles scream out in protest. Groaning she tried to channel her miko powers to dull the pain, and found she couldn't. Looking deeper into herself she found the problem was her miko powers and demon energy had merged into one. ` Well.' Kagome thought. ` This sucks I'll have to learn to fight and control my powers all over again I guess Sessshomaru's training will come in handy.'

Sighing she tried again to sit up only to be racked with pains once again. Only this time Sesshomaru was there helping her up. With out another word Sesshomaru scoped Kagome into his arms bridal style and left the hut. " Are you comfortable Kagome?" Sesshoamru asked once they were outside. Kagome nodded and relaxed completely in to Sesshomaru grasp. Sesshomaru summoned his cloud and took to the skies, heading for home.

…………………With Inuyasha and the gang……………….

" How could you let hr get away with that!?" Sango cried. "Feh." Was Inuyashas only reply. Since Sesshomaru had taken off with Kagome Sango and Inuyasha had been fighting none stop about Kikyou. " FINE!" Sango said finally. " If your just going to let Kikyou get away with shooting Kagome I'm LEAVING!" Sango said nothing more and simply gather her things and walked away, Miroku and Kilala with her.

" Feh I don't need them." Inuyasha said. " Of course not Inuyasha you have me." Kikyou purred. Inuyasha grabbed Kikyou around the waist and ran back home toward Inuyasha's forest. They arrived in a little under an hour. (If your wondering why it took him so long to get to Sesshomarus house in the first place its because he kept losing Kagomes scent.) He set Kikyou down and jumped into the god tree to sleep. ` I can't believe Sango and Miroku just left.' Was Inuysaha last thought before he drifted off to dream land.
