Disclaimer: I will NEVER own Inuyasha…*sigh* darn!

Thoughts of the Taijiya ran throughout his silver head.
After seeing the woman's little brother, an unsettling calm rested over the group.
Inuyasha sighed heavily, this was getting annoying. “Feh, why won't any of you say somethin'?” He snapped. The young miko looked to him with her deep brown eyes,
“Inuyasha,” she said softly, her eyes glanced back to the dark haired woman who was trailing behind the group.
His golden eyes scanned her quickly, her bangs hid her eyes as she looked down, but he could smell the tears. The monk stayed ahead, his amethyst eyes held a knowing look and looked back to Sango as well.
Then, she looked up and a sudden rush went through Inuyasha's stomach. Little flops in his heart made his ears prick. Her chocolate eyes held unshed tears, she gave a broken smiled and ran the back of her hands along her eyes. The tears glinted on her skin as she sighed heavily, making her bangs poof up.
“I'm alright Kagome,” she said. Though, the miko was not convinced. Kagome shook her head, her raven hair spilling over her shoulders. Miroku fell behind in step with Sango, and Inuyasha soon realized he was staring.
I'll eavesdrop instead.
Inuyasha looked ahead, as if intent on going to their next village, but his mind was somewhere else.

Meanwhile, Miroku was walking with Sango, in the same pattern of steps as her, he then looked to her. “Lady Sango, is there something you would like to talk about?” He asked, concern was drowning his voice.
Sango sniffed, holding the same smile on her face. “Houshi-Sama, I'm alright. I just, need to think right now.” Yeah right Sango, you're not ok. Your heart is in a million pieces right now. Why won't you just talk to someone?
Because no one understands.
Her eyes watered with tears, and Miroku noticed. As if on instinct, one arm went around her shoulders, planting a quick, soft, and tender kiss on the top of her head. ”I'm here Sango, if you need a friend.” He tilted up her head by lacing fingers under her chin.
She smiled, not realizing his arm was slipping and his hand was wandering. Until she felt a familiar squeeze on her backside…
SMACK
“HENTAI!!!” Sango screamed her face bright with embarrassment and anger.
Miroku chuckled lightly as she stalked away and to an awaiting Kagome.
His fingers touched the tender spot on his cheek. Ah well, if it's worth having Sango not dwell on Kohaku as much, then I guess I'll do it for the rest of my days. Until Naraku is dead.

Inuyasha sighed as Sango came running up to him and Kagome.
Stupid Monk, he needs to be smacked. His eyes shifted to Sango, as she vented to Kagome. Usually, he could hear every single word, but at the moment his senses were fixed on everything else but her mouth. His eyes widened when Sango glanced to him, her brow quirked in puzzlement. Crap, keep it together Inuyasha. In fact, what is there to keep together? Dumb me!!! Why do I keep looking at her?
The Hanyou only fixed his gaze ahead once more.
