Ok so first of this is the very first Yaoi I have ever written. I wanted to try and stay true to the manga and not have everyone get too OOC. I think I managed to let InuYasha eat his cake and have it too (everyone always gets that phrase backwards).
Please note this is a one shot, but I will be adding an Epilogue as a second chapter, so if you want to make some sort of comment or review (a kind one I hope), I will be able to answer it.

The years flew by, Kaede passed on, the children grew up, Miroku and Sango grew older as did Kagome. Miroku and Sango both lived well into their 70’s, a very advanced age for their era. Miroku passed first and Sango unable to go on without her dear husband passed within a year. Wise Kagome understood her Inu husband and children, despite the fact that her grown children were nearly 50 years old they slept in bed with their parents for nearly a month after Sango’s passing.
