Scared

 

 

Inuyasha woke from a strange dream. He pushed Sota from the side hoping he'd move over, but his plan failed. So Inuyasha rolled over and fell off Sotas bed. He grumbled and helped himself up. He walked out of Sota's room and headed for the bathroom. He looked at his hair. Not even silver anymore. He looked at his claws. Dry blood. He remembered Kagome speaking of “baths” and thought it's a good idea to take one with soap like she does. He thought it'd be best if Sota helped him, so he went back to his room and nudged him a couple times.

 

“Hey, hey kid.” Inuyasha whispered.

 

Moans.* “Inuyasha? What's wrong?”

 

“I need you to help me wash my self.” Inuyasha said with his topaz eyes glowing in the dark. Sota rolled over to look at the time. 2:13 am

 

“Inuyasha! It's two am!” Sota raised his voice.

 

“Sh!” Inuyasha put is hand over Sota's mouth. “Please Sota.” Sota had a flash back.

 

“I think Inuyashas a cool guy” Sota said. “Not at all. He's rude, selfish and never thanks anyone for anything!”

 

Sota thought, (She's wrong.) Sota then rubbed his eyes and said, “Only because you said please.”

 

Inuyasha smiled and followed Sota to the downstairs washroom, so they don't wake anyone up. Sota turned the tap and started letting the warm water fill the tub. He held out his hands.

 

“All right Inuyasha. Take off your kimono.” Sota said. Inuyasha slipped out of his kimono and dropped it on the toilet seat. The bath was full.

 

“Alright, get in.” Inuyasha made an “aw man” face while he slipped in the warm water. Sota grabbed the pink shampoo bottle. The one Kagome usually uses. He squeezed the bottle, letting the purple liquid slide down Inuyashas hair.

 

“Alright.” Sota started scrubbing with still a tired look in his eyes. He scrubbed his bangs, under behind his neck, behind the ears. Everywhere.

 

“Okay, now take all the soap out.” Inuyasha dove his head under the water brushed his hands through his hair until all soap was gone. Then Sota said.

 

“Okay now stand up.” While Inuyasha stood up, Sota grabbed the bar of soap and started scrubbing on Inuyashas belly.

 

“… On second thought, you do this part.” Inuyasha grabbed the bar of soap and started washing all over. Finally when he was rinsed, he got out with the towel around his waist. Sota began putting nail hardener on Inuyashas nails.

 

“Um. What are you doing?” Inuyasha asked confused.

 

“Trust me, girls do this to make there nails stronger.” Sota replied. Inuyashas right eyebrow rose up. When Inuyashas nails were dry, he put his High school uniform back on. He was quit proud of himself, he didn't need Sota's help this time. He grinned and walked back upstairs. It was 4:01 am now and Sota crawled back into bed and fell fast asleep. Inuyasha sat beside his bed for about half an hour. He wasn't at all the least bit tired and it wasn't time for school yet. How'd he know? Kagome's alarm clock didn't ring. He began thinking of school again, and his eyelids started feeling heavier. He slide to the side plopping on the floor and fell asleep.

 

8:25 am.

 

Bbbrrrrrrriiiiinnngggggg!!! Inuyashas eyes flew open. Kagome reached out for her alarm clock to turn it off. Inuyasha got up right away, opened Sota's window and was about to jump but didn't. He turned his head around and saw Sota still sleeping. Inuyasha walked over to him brushed his hard clean nails across his hair and said. “Thanks lil bro.” He got back up jumped out of Sotas bedroom window, and went to school.

 

He was a bit early in class. There were only a couple of kids in English. Including fart boy. When everyone was in class, and the teacher began to speak, Inuyasha noticed fart boy wiggling. Inuyashas eyebrows crouched down his forehead. He leaned over to fart boy, claws on his neck and whispered in his human ear,

 

“Listen fat fart. If you blow even the smallest of farts, your life will be in my hands.” The fart boy gulped and nodded his head. Then Inuyasha leaned back against his chair, hands behind his head, and feet on desk. He grinned while smelling the fresh air when he noticed something white flying around his desk. The small object landed on his stomach. It was a paper airplane.

 

“Hm.” Inuyasha leaned forward, grabbed the piece of paper and unfolded it. It read, Hey. I think you're totally sexy. How about we meet up somewhere? What's your name again?

 

Inuyashas cheeks went pink. Then he grumbled, turned around, crumpled up the paper and threw it in the trash can.

 

Class was over, and Inuyasha left the class room and headed for his locker. He opened it up and stuffed some sheets of paper given to him by the teacher. Behind the locker door, was a girl.

 

“Hmm. May I help you?” Inuyasha asked with a frustrated tone.

 

“Did you get my note?” She asked with a smile.

 

“Oh that was you?” He asked.

 

“Yeah! What do you say; want to come over to my place?” She asked.

 

“Well for your information I don-.” Inuyasha stopped, looking at the couple behind the girl he was talking to. Kagome and Jordan were holding hands smiling at each other. As for Jordan, still had a broken nose form yesterdays volley ball practice.

 

“Grr.” Inuyasha hid his head behind the locker so Kagome wouldn't see him. When the two of them left Inuyasha began walking to science.

 

“Yeah, yeah, I'll be there” Inuyasha said without paying any attention.

 

In science class.

Inuyasha wore large green goggles and blue rubber gloves. He didn't like the feeling at all. He thought it was very un-comfortable. He wasn't paying much attention to the teacher or the other classmates; he was too busy playing around with the experiment they were working on. He grabbed the little bottle with blue liquid and started pouring it into the red.

 

“-Then when you're done that-.” CRSHH!! All the students turned around to look at Inuyasha. With his hair standing up, and purple skin, he removed the goggles. He put his right hand under his chin and sniffed the scentless object.

 

“Well, that was weird.” Inuyasha said with the goggle mark around his eyes.

 

“Inuyasha! Didn't you here a word I said?” The professor asked him.

 

“Not one.” He replied turning over to another student pointing behind him with his thumb. “Hey is class over yet?”

 

Without a second thought the professor kicked him out of class. Inuyasha crossed his arms and legs in the hall way disappointed. He thought he was doing really well. All this for Kagome and it's only been two days.

 

“How can I put up with this for a month?” Inuyasha asked himself. The bell rang and school was over. Inuyasha began sniffing a scent he recognized. It was that broken nosed Jordan's scent. Wait... Kagome's too. Inuyasha followed the scent to a small house. He got in through a window and hid behind the couch watching Kagome and Jordan have a conversation.

 

It seemed like a conversation at first, and then Jordan started getting a bit rough on Kagome.

 

“Come on baby, it's my birthday.” Jordan said pulling on the buttons of Kagomes uniform.

 

“No Jordan.” Kagome said grabbing his hands and pushing them away form her. Jordan then put his arms around her waist and pulled her body close enough to his that they touched.

 

“Come on Kagome.” He said, pulling her skirt up and touching her in uncomfortable places.

 

“No stop!” Kagome said slapping Jordan.

 

“Stupid stubborn Bitch.” Jordan pushed her hard throwing her against a couch. He jumped on top of her, pulled out a pocket knife, and cutting her uniform open.

 

“NO! ST-.” Jordan stopped her with a kiss. She squirmed as he pulled down his pants and reached under her skirt…

 

Inuyasha was so shocked he didn't know what to do. If Kagome found him here she'd hate him. Seeing what he was seeing only made him do one thing which he'd easily regret.

 

Inuyasha growled, jumped from behind the couch and grabbed Jordan by the neck. Kagome was staring in silence shocked to see what she was seeing. Inuyasha stabbed his claws through his stomach. He then picked Kagome up from the couch, jumped out of the window and went back to feudal Japan.

 

He put Kagome down on the green grass. She was still in so much shock she didn't say anything. Inuyasha looked at her. Her shirt torn into shreds, her underwear half way down her legs, and more scared then he's ever seen her before. Inuyasha knew what was coming. Seeing him in a school uniform would be the most amount of “Osuwari's” ever to be spoken. He closed his eyes shut and prepared for them, but instead he felt something warn against his chest. He opened his eyes and felt Kagomes arms tightly around him. Kagomes tears wet Inuyashas blouse. But Inuyasha didn't care. He hugged her tightly.

 

“Inuyasha! I was so scared!” Kagome sobbed. Thinking of how scared she was, Inuyasha realized that her world, a world with no demons or monsters can sometimes be even more frightening then it is here in feudal Japan.

 

“Don't worry Kagome. You're safe. It's over…”
