The last thing Kagome remembered right before passing out was Inuyasha telling her she was a hanyou. Waking up she passed it off as a dream. As she woke up she herd his voice in her head.

"She's going to hate this. It's all my fault… I should of kept going back… She's going to hate me too… Damn…"

Kagome opened her eyes and looked around the area directly in front of her. He wasn't there - she was about to turn but strong arms held her in place.

"She's awake."

Kagome still ignored the voice in her head. She shook it a little to clear some thoughts before falling back into the warm fuzzy feeling Inuyasha was currently providing.

"Why isn't she struggling? All she has to do is lift her leg up to put me in serious pain."

"Careful what you wish for." Kagome mumbled. A headache pounding inside her skull.

"Ok - how the hell do you keep reading my thoughts." Inuyasha blurted out.

"What are you talking about?"

"Since you've woken up your responded to what I'm thinking."

"No I haven't. Only what you have said."

"Oh really? Look strait at my mouth then." Inuyasha challenged. Kagome, in the mood for a challenge, did so.

"Don't be so stupid Kagome. You can hear me."

Kagome's eyes went wide. "And that's not all. You look, smell, even feel like a half demon."

"Inuyasha, I am not a half demon!" Kagome yelled. His ears flattened to his head.

"Kagome, I'm telling you that you are!"

"No I am not Inuyasha!"

He suddenly looked hurt. He retracted his arms and slowly stood up.

"I knew she would be ashamed."

"What's so wrong about it Kagome? You don't want to be a hanyou?"

"Inuyasha…"

"Just say it Kagome. I would understand."

"How long has she been hiding this from me? Was she playing me like Kikyo did?"

"Inuyasha… I would never do that to you, and you know that. I guess it's just a big shock."

Inuyasha got a smirk on his face. He picked up a rock and suddenly chucked it at her.

Kagome squealed. "Inuyasha!" As it flew at her head. She quickly snatched out and caught it.

"What the…"

"I told you. You react quicker, you think smarter, your senses are heightened, and apparently - you can read minds."

Kagome looked at the rock and then without warning threw it at Inuyasha. He didn't catch it.

Instead he growled. "What are you doing?!"

"You were supposed to catch it like I did."

"Your faster than I am!"

"You didn't say that."

Inuyasha growled.

"I'll show her."

He lunged and ended up being pinned down by her. "You forgot. I'm faster and I can read minds."

Inuyasha growled. His hands pinned above his head with her weight pinning him down. She wasn't heavy at all - but he kind of liked the position they were in.

"No one else hears about this." He said.

"Agreed."

"So, how about letting me up?" He asked.

Before Kagome could answer she screamed in pain collapsing on his chest. She had passed out either from pain or fear. Inuyasha watched as the human ears disappeared, and Inu-Hanyou ones appeared on the top of her head. Up until not it had only been eye color, claws, hair, and fangs.

She now had the ears.

Inuyasha held the shivering body close.

"Inuyasha… I'm scared." Kagome finally whispered. He didn't say anything. He just let her cry into his chest.

They stayed like that for hours.
