Innocent that's what she was. Pure in heart and soul. And he was determined to make her his. Sesshomaru watched as a girl that seemed to be an angel played with her adopted kit. He knew he shouldn't be there because of Inuyasha but he didn't care. All he wanted was to be near her. Kagome. His beast had chosen her for their mate and he had to be she was perfect. 'Besides when we mate she will live as long as I. She is powerful as am I the pups will b even more powerful!' was Sesshomarus thoughts. Closing his eyes while listening to Kagomes bell like laughter he sighed. (Sesshy is out of character just thought I would warn u LoL)

*With the inuyasha group*

"I think Sesshomaru is following us." Inuyasha said suddenly surprising everyone. "Inuyasha. I think you are too protective of that sword. He wouldn't follow us just for a sword." said sango, Miroku nodding in agreement.
'I know he is following us but why? Why would Sesshomaru follow us? He hasn't even attacked when we are vulnerable. He just follows as if he is protecting something. Dog demons are very protective but what's he so protective over?' Inuyasha thought. He sat down knowing when Kagome came back her and Sango would go to the springs.

*With Kagome*

"Shippo?" Kagome asked as she waited for her kit. 5 minutes passed and no sign f shippo kagome started to get worried. "Shippo." she said again. "shippo this isn't funny." she cried

*In the tree with sesshomaru*

Sesshomarus beast started to fight against his master to get out and help its mate. Sesshomaru winced when his beast started yelling. (Why do you not help...? Mate cry... Ned helps... Will help mate now.) it kept crying. Sesshomaru nodded. 'Yes this Sesshomaru could help without giving anything away' with that he jumped down and walked over to his crying angel. "What causes you human to cry so?" Sesshomaru winced inside as he smelt her fear. 'She fears me?' Sesshomaru thought sadly. He kneeled down next to her and pulled her to him. "What is wrong Kagome?" he asked again. He sighed when Kagome relaxed in his embrace. "I..I can't f..find shippo." she cried. Sesshomaru smelt the air. The kit was at camp. Sesshomaru looked down at Kagome he could tell she was tired. "Sleep Kagome. I shall take you back to camp." he said. "But shippo."she protested softly. "He is at camp." he said as he started to softly growl at her to get her to go to sleep Kagome yawned and soon as she closed her eyes she was asleep. Sesshomaru smiled at the perfect peaceful picture perfect angel she was. He watched her peaceful face. She was snoring softly. Sesshomarus beast purred at the sight. (Mine) his beast growled.
Sesshoaru stood with Kagome in his arms. He started to walk to her camp when she started to whimper in her sleep. (What is happening protect mate.) Sesshomaru whimpered down at the woman in his arms. He leaned down and nuzzled and licked her cheek not knowing the Inu gang was watching. They watched as Seshomaru sate Kagome down on the ground. INuyasha was about to run to her when sesshomaru finally noticed them. His eyes were blood red. Inuyasha stepped back. "everyone gets back" Inuyasha said. "Why?" asked shippo. "His demon is in control." Inuyasha said. "Oh no we got to get mama away from him." Inuyasha grabbed him. "don't shippo." he whispered as sesshomaru changed into his true form. "you're just going to let him eat mama?" shippo asked. Inuasha and miroku laughed. "Yea shippo he wants to ea" miroku said. They all took two steps back when sesshomaru growling viciously. :the only thing that can calm him is kagome. Sesshomarus beast has chosen kagome as its mate." inuyasha said. Everyone turned when they heard a groan kagomes eyes slowly opened. Ssshomarus beast leaned down nudging a liking and smelling her. Kagomes hand started to pet sesshomarus ad. She didn't know was that was a sign that she agreed to be his mate. Everyone gasped as seshomau picked kagome up and put her on a tee branch. He growled at her. "god kagome remember what that growl means Please Know what t means to submit I taught you what t do." Inuyasha whispered and sighed when he saw kagome whimper ad tilt her head baring her neck to the beast. "thank god." Inuyasha said. Sesshomaru turned ar9oundand growled at everyone in a warning that clearly said "Stay away or die" so Inuysha had everyone step a couple more steps back they watched as kagome pt sesshomarus fur. Seshomru calmed down instantly at her touch. "ehehe. I guess you remember me it been along time I'm suprised."kagome said. Shippo got out of Inuyashas hold and went to jump on the tree but sesshomaru caught him in his teeth and was growling loudly. "Maru-kun put shippo-chan down."kagoem said. Sesshomaru whimpered but put him down none the less. Sesshomaru changed back to his humanoid form and jumped in the tree. :"come kagome its time we change you back." sesshomaru said. "Change? what are you talking about?" Inuyasha asked/yelled. "I mean she is an angel-dog demo ness. sesshomau replied as he took kagome into his arms. It was still pretty late. Kagome yawned again. Sesshomaru noticed her yawn. "Go back to sleep kagome-love." he told her gently . Gently he picked her up into his arms and started walking away. He didn't look back. "if you are coming. Follow.:" was all he said.
*2 Hours later*

Everyone was about and hour or so from the castle when everyone heard a purr sound they looked at sesshomaru ad found him looking at kagome. He was smirking it was kagome. "In a bit love we will be home." kagome was glowing softly. the light became brighter the closer to the castle they got. when they were right outside the gate the light around kagome when really bright then disappeared left in sesshomarus arms wasn't a human girl. It was a beautiful dog demo ness she had a moon on her forehead like sesshomaru just it was surrounded by a gold ring that looked like a halo she had sapphire eyes. her cheeks no had crimson strips on them as well as her wrists. her clothes changed and now she was wearing a sapphire crimson kimono that hugged her and fit her body perfectly her hair grew to her butt and it now had crimson streaks through it and her bangs had sapphire streaks in it. To put it all in all she was an exact image of an angel. Kagome was growling softly at inuyasha. Inyasha didn't say a word kagome was still growling everyone watched as sesshomru held kagome tighter and licked her ear lightly growling into it to lull her back to sleep. Kagome purred while cuddling closer to sesshomaru she closed her eyes and way soon asleep. "how did you do that? how did kagome change?" sango asked "The answer to your first question slayer is that this ssshomaru has known kagome all my life until the war. I can tell small details about kagome not even you can so I knew when she as tired. as for your second question I shall tell you in the morning for I do believe you are tired. Correct?" sesshomaru said as he turned carrying kagome but stopped at sangos next question.

They all stood there waiting for the answer. Finally InuYasha got impatient and said, "she asked you about the war Sesshomaru.... ANSWER. What war tore Kagome" he paused the he whispered, "away from you?" Sesshomaru sighed and answered "meet me in the study." was all he said then he was gone.

*SESSHOMARU*

He sighed. 'Kami. Why did I even answer the questions?' He thought as he stepped into a room. He looked around and realized it was the room Kagome and he shared before everything came crashing down on their little worlds by a stupid war. He looked down at Kagome. He whispered softly to her, "Maybe just for tonight you can sleep in here." Then he thought to himself, 'until I can get you to stay with me again.'
He kissed her forehead and gently laid her upon the bed and covered her up in the red covers. He brushed a strand of hair from her face. Then he turned and left.

*in the study*

"WHAT THE HELL IS TAKEN HIM SO LONG?" Yelled INuyasha. "Be quiet half-breed. I'm here." said sesshomaru as he stood in the doorway just watching everyone with calculating eyes.
Finally he went to his desk. "Speak." was all he said. This time Miroku spoke up. "ell you see sesshomaru-sama." he began. "We would like to know about the war..." Sango cut him off by saying, "Why kagome was tore away from you. What was the war about? Why was there a war?"
"The monks and mikos. They didn't like the idea of an angel-demon they got the angels who didn't like the idea of an angel-demon either to side with them. Kagome's mother took kagome to the well and they both jumped in. The war was called off when they the monks and mikos were finally in realization of what they did. The angels were put back on earth for the rest of eternity. I looked for kagome since then. I got worried when kagome's okaasan returned without her." sesshomaru said no emotion what so ever in his voice or on his face but they could see it in his eyes he had worried along time.
He studied their faces. They looked shocked. All of a sudden Jaken came running through the doors. He stuttered for a second then he said "My lord. The lords from the other lands are here for the up coming ball." With that he was gone and getting rooms ready for the other lords.

*KAGOME*

Kagome lay in the bed dreaming. Dreaming of what you ask? Well let's see shall we.

~DREAM~

"KAGOME. Kagome where are you?" asked a middle aged angel.

"In here mama." called a 9 year old girl.
"found you kagome we must go hurry." the older angel said
"what about sessy? Where are we going?" Kagome asked
"just come." sakura other wise known as the older angel said.

~END DREAM~

Kagome sat up quickly. 'That was the last time I had seen him till I met Inu-Trasha.' It's been the same dream as if someone wanted her to remember. 'No not just anyone my demon wanted to remember.'
'I always thought and knew something was missing in my life. Everyone was wrong it wasn't my imagination.' Kagome thought with a sigh. With another sigh she got up out of the bed and gasped. She whispered to herself "sesshomaru and I use to share this room." she changed into a beautiful blue kimono that had pink shard like shapes. She put her beautiful hair into low pig-tails. "time to find the others" she said to herself she opened the door and wasn't expecting what happened next.
(Ok sorry cliffy but that's how most my chapters will end for a while ok sorry email me or leave comments if u like it thank you love ya all)

If n/e one was wonder "hey why wasn't kagome put in sesshomarus room" well its because he figured she should wake up somewhere she knew before sharing a room ok hope that clears it up for you all who do end up wondering that
