Hello mina, yes, yes I know I had rated this story PG 13… I was hoping everyone can read this story, well nothing violent or any sexual content… though this chapter consists of short kissing scene… I won't put it in detailed. Hope u guys don't mind ….

Chapter 10: Hatred for Humans

Sesshoumaru had lost all his senses when Sakura's scent overrode him with longing of wanting her more. When she gave in to him, he deepened his kiss to feel and taste her sweetness. He could feel Sakura's warm embrace around his waist as he encircled his arm around hers. He could feel Sakura kissing him back and that was when he came back to his senses and pushed Sakura away. She landed on the ground, confused and stunned.

"If you like it here so much you may," He said hoarsely and left swiftly.

He had to get out of there fast; he had no idea what had possessed him to kiss Sakura that way. He hated all humans. Didn't he? He wasn't very sure anymore. Ever since Sakura came to his life, he wasn't sure of a lot of things any more. He never wanted to be like his father to care for a weak human being or protect them. He just couldn't lower himself to do that. Furious that he had liked the kiss so much he had barricade himself in his room. However, Sakura's scent still lingers around him as he lay down his bed and closed his eyes letting out a long deep sigh.

Sakura blinked as she sat on the ground, her hand raised touching her lips softly. She had no idea what had just happened. She was trying her best to stay away from Sesshoumaru, and all of a sudden she just let him kiss her and when she kissed him back he pushed her away.

I kissed him back! Sakura's mind screamed frightfully. What in the world was I thinking about to kiss a Youkai back… and not any Youkai but a Lord?

She shivered by the thought and stood up. One thing after another just had to happen to her. Kissing Sesshoumaru wasn't bad, in fact she liked it but she didn't want to get involved. Not with a Youkai. She shut her eyes tightly trying to shake the feeling of his warm lips on her. She knew that she won't be forgetting that anytime soon.

"Sakura?"

She then heard Reisha's soft voice calling her.

"I'm here." Sakura took a deep breath and turned to see the green haired Youkai approaching her.

"I'm here to bring you to your quarters." Reisha said.

"Arigatou…"

She then followed Reisha out of the garden and into the palace. Reisha led her through a familiar corridor and she remembered that it was the corridor where Sesshoumaru's quarter was. She blinked and frowned slightly.

"Reisha, why are we here?"

"Sesshoumaru-sama, wants your room to be close by."

"Eh?" Sakura raised her eyebrows and thought with frustration. So much for wanting to stay away from him.

"Rin-sama's room is next to yours." Reisha said as she pushed opened a door and lead her into a room as large as the Sesshoumaru's. She then walked over to another sliding door in the room and stopped there. "You can go to Rin-sama with this door. It is an adjoining room."

"Arigatou," Sakura said softly.

"I'll leave you to rest for now." Reisha said with a bow and left.

"Oyasumi…" Sakura whispered watching Reisha leave.

Sakura went over to the adjoining doors and slide it opened. Rin's room was slightly smaller than hers though looked very comfortable and nice. She walked inside to check on Rin. She was already asleep soundly on a huge comfortable bed. Sakura knelt down next to her with a small smile on her face.

If only I was still this young, Sakura said smiling. Life wouldn't be so complicated then but then again, Rin lost her family at such a young age, still she went on with life happily. Maybe she is happy with Sesshoumaru…

Sakura stood up and went back to her room. Her room seemed awfully quiet and big, the windows showed her the dark star filled sky. She went over to it and looked out. She could see the cliff running steep down towards the forest. She inhaled the clear night cooling air, staring straight at the horizon blankly and thought.

Aren't I happy with Sesshoumaru too? He may be a youkai, who seemed cool and unemotional but there is something behind those eyes of his. That time when I was wounded… was there worry? Then in the garden he had kissed me… it wasn't just any ordinary kiss…

She inclined her head, did he really cared? That would be one thing that she will never know… sighing, she went to bed. The longer she pondered about it, the more confused she gets.

Xiaran walked alone in the dark forest as hatred ran through her burning her veins. She was never going to forget what that human scum had done to her that evening. She was going to pay, even if she had to give life to do so. She didn't care about anything else right now, but vengeance seems so sweat. At that moment someone interrupted her thoughts.

"Dwelling on your own mistake won't make anything matter."

"Go away," Xiaran said without looking at the person. "I will kill you just to release my anger."

"Killing me won't take your anger away."

Xiaran turned towards the person to see a lady carrying a fan her black hair tied up into a bun with a few feathers on it. She was wearing a white kimono with red stripes on it. Her cold red eyes bored back into hers.

"What do you want?" Xiaran finally asked when she knew that lady wouldn't leave her alone until she gets what she wanted.

"I'm Kaze Kagura, the wind youkai," Kagura replied smirking. "Xiaran am I right? I have a proposition for you."

"Proposition?" Xiaran frowned turning away. "I have no time to play around with your dirty plans!"

"Really," Kagura smiled evilly then. "Even if it regards killing the person you hate?"

Xiaran stopped on her tracks and turned back to Kagura who stood there with the evil smile on her face.

"You have my attention."

"Come with me," Kagura smiled sweetly then taking a feather from behind her head. "There is someone who would love to meet you. He is waiting for you."

Transforming her feather, Kagura and Xiaran flew up into the night and out of sight.

"Good work Kagura," Naraku smiled heartlessly as he watched Kagura and Xiaran on Kanna's mirror. "She would be a good device to kill that girl. I don't need another powerful miko around to destroy my plan."

Kanna, a pale looking little girl dressed all in white just stared straight ahead emotionlessly as Naraku laughed cruelly into the night.

Sakura opened her eyes to see the morning light shining through the windows. She stretched on her bed and yawned as Reisha came into her room smiling.

"Ohayo gosaimasu." Reisha greeted.

"Ohayo…" Sakura sat up rubbing her eyes sleepily.

At that time the adjoining door to Rin's room slide opened and a very cheerful Rin skipped into the room and jumped on Sakura's bed.

"Ohayo, Sakura-neechan…" Rin cried happily. "It's so beautiful outside; wanna go out to play with me? Sesshoumaru-sama said I can!"

Sakura yawned again. "OK… leeet… mee… ge…get… rea…ready… first…"

Rin giggled at her sentence. "OK, I'll go get dress too."

Jumping off the bed she left, going back to her room.

"Here Sakura why don't you wear this today?" Reisha said taking out another very beautiful looking kimono out of the huge wooden chest carved with all sort of ancient creatures.

"Where are my clothes?" Sakura asked.

"Well, I had already clean it and mend it like you wanted." Reisha said. "But you can't keep wearing that."

Sakura shrugged. "I guessed." She looked at the Kimono Reisha and taken out and inclined her head. "Reisha why do you all keep such nice kimono around? I don't see any female around the palace except for the servants and maids. Do they wear such kimono too?"

"Oh no, of course not." Reisha smiled. "These used to belong to Sesshoumaru-sama's mother the Inutaisho-sama's wife which is also the Queen of Inu, and the Grand Lady."

"Eh?" Sakura slipped out of her night gown and walked over to the kimono Reisha was holding up for her. "Who is the Grand Lady?"

"You see, after Queen of Inu passed away during a battle, Inutaisho-sama got another mate, I mean wife which was human…" Reisha said softly as Sakura slipped her arms into the sleeves. "Actually we are not allowed to talk about her."

"Why?"

"Sesshoumaru-sama forbids us to say anything about the Grand Lady ever since Inu…" Reisha's voice trailed off as she stared fearfully in front of her.

Sakura followed her gaze to see Sesshoumaru standing by the door glaring at Reisha; however his gaze settled on her after that, studying her from her toes back up to her face. Sakura blinked and something dawn to her, she was still getting dress. She looked down at herself and blushed quickly pulling her kimono to close her exposed body.

"Don't you think you shouldn't be walking into a girl's room when she is changing?" Sakura snapped as she quickly tie the sash around her waist.

"Sakura…!" Reisha whispered frightfully.

"Like I said this is my home," Sesshoumaru replied coolly. "I do as I please."

"He has some attitude…" Sakura said under her breath frowned turning away from him. At that moment she felt like slapping his face though she couldn't imagine what would become of her if she did.

Can't he say he is sorry? Sakura thought furiously. Last night he kissed me, today morning he watched me naked. Moh… men!

Sesshoumaru was only walking by to see Rin when he heard Reisha talking about the woman he hated so much and opened the door absent mindedly not knowing that Sakura was dressing. It was quite a sight in a morning not to say he hated it but he didn't expect himself to get drawn to her body and couldn't help himself as he studied her from her toes up to her beautiful face. That night when she saw her at the hot spring it was dark and her body was glowing in the moon light but this time it was different, she was standing bathing in the morning light. He had forgotten all about Reisha as he stared at her, his thoughts about Sakura and her body was then disturbed by cheerful cries of Rin.

"Sesshoumaru-sama, Sesshoumaru-sama!" Rin skipped into Sakura's room happily running towards him. "Rin want to go out to play immediately, and Sakura-neechan said she will come with me."

Taking a deep breath Sakura calmed down and turned to Rin with a smile. She didn't want to let Rin see her angry not so early in the day anyway. Her smiled however didn't reach her eyes.

"Let's go Rin," Sakura said and took her hand, her eyes glaring at Sesshoumaru as they passed him though holding her smile.

Reisha followed Sakura out the room timidly mumbling an apology as she passed Sesshoumaru. They went back the garden which Sesshoumaru had allowed them to use. Rin was so happy she started running around chasing butterflies that flew around the garden.

"Reisha, why does Sesshoumaru hate the Grand Lady?" Sakura asked as they sat on the soft green grass under the trees watching Rin.

There was silence from her and Sakura turned to see her looking slightly scared.

"He is not here, you can tell me…" Sakura smiled softly then. "Besides I won't let him do anything to you."

"Well, Sesshoumaru-sama holds a very high pride of being a Taiyoukai…" Reisha whispered. "He thinks that humans are weak and brainless."

Sakura swallowed an awful remark about what she thinks about youkai and waited for Reisha to continue.

"Inutaisho-sama got another mate, well in human ways wife after the Queen of Inu died." Reisha continued after another short pause. "Sesshoumaru-sama was enraged. He couldn't understand why Inutaisho-sama who was his father could do such a thing to care for a pathetic, weak and brainless human scum."

Oh, that does it… Sakura thought heatedly. Pathetic, weak and brainless are we?

"Sesshoumaru-sama is a cold blooded, killing anything that crosses his path and he couldn't understand the feeling of love that is." Reisha sighed. "Even his father couldn't make him see it."

Sakura calmed down then and blinked. Cold blooded, killing machine? The thought chilled her bones.

"After Inutaisho-sama died in a battle, Sesshoumaru-sama had sworned to protect the woman he hates, but because of his loyalty to his father he did just that but, however The Grand Lady died not long later. This garden was supposed to be hers. She loved this garden very much. Sesshoumaru-sama shut this garden after her death and ordered no one to up keep it… but however, Inutaisho-sama's love for the Grand Lady runs too deep and put an unbreakable spell which was unknown to Sesshoumaru-sama to keep this garden as it is… as a remembrance of the Grand Lady."

Sakura watched Reisha with her mouth hanging opened. The story sound so much like a love fairytale told in her world.

"This is all I can tell you…" Reisha said. "I no nothing more… whatever happened between the family remains untold, this are just rumours running around among the servants' quarters."

"About keeping this garden as it is seemed really true though." Sakura said looking around the blooming flowers and green grass.

She stood up then and stretched, Reisha followed suit.

"Do you climb trees?" Sakura asked.

"No…"

"Well, want to join me at the top?" Sakura asked as she tied her skirt up to her thighs in a knot and begin climbing up the tree. "The top branch actually shows a great view, I was up there last night but it was dark so I couldn't see anything much…"

Reisha smiled and jumped, as she passed Sakura grabbing her up with her and settled her on the top branch.

"We don't climb but we can jump pretty high." Reisha said laughing.

"Wow," Sakura smiled and turned to see the forest within. "All these belong to Sesshoumaru?"

"Hai," Reisha nodded. "This are the Western Lands, he controls these place."

"Is that a village down there?" Sakura asked squirting her eyes to see a small clearing in the middle of the forest with smoke coming up. "It looked like a normal human village to me…"

"Hai, it is…"

"If you say Sesshoumaru hates humans why does he allow humans to stay on his lands?"

Reisha remained silent for a moment before answering.

"It is Inutaisho-sama's wishes that they remained."

"So he had no choice but to obey…" Sakura whispered looking back at the village. "How do we get out of the palace?"

"We fly Sakura…"

"WHAT?"

"Hai, fly, we are very high up in the mountains. No humans are able to climb cause of the steep and jagged mountains."

"SO there is no way I can get out of this place?" Sakura asked.

"If you fly…"

"Of course I don't fly…" Sakura grumbled. "And now I'm stuck in this place for god knows how long?"

"Don't you like it here?" Reisha asked sadly to hear Sakura wants to leave so badly.

"I do, but I don't belong here…" Sakura sighed. "It's a long story…"

"What are you both doing up there?" Rin cried from below then. "Rin is hungry…"

"I think we better get down there." Sakura said smiling.

"Hai," Reisha said grabbing Sakura with her as she jumped down.

"I hear that you have a proposition for me." Xiaran said as she stared at a very good looking hayou, with red eyes and dark long curly hair. Kagura and Kanna stood next to him at each side. "And it better be good."

"You would love it." He answered an evil smiled curl on his lips. "Do you know what this is?"

He held up his hand holding a pink shard.

"Shikono Tama…" Xiaran whispered.

"It actually increases your power from within," He continued as he watched Xiaran's surprised face. "I was thinking you may need this to kill Sakura."

"Che… are trying to imply that I'm weak…" Xiaran uttered angrily turning her head away from him.

"I wouldn't dream of doing so, but however Sesshoumaru…"

"What about him?" Xiaran turned her attention back to him again. "If you are asking me to kill him that is out of the question."

"I didn't say you must, but this shard will help you a little for the girl is under Sesshoumaru's protection."

Xiaran frowned, and remembered how Sesshoumaru had stood up for Sakura. Her hands clenched into fists and she growl softly.

The hayou smiled. "So you may use this shard to kill Sakura, and it will also help you make Sesshoumaru wants you as his future mate."

Xiaran gasped. "It can do that?"

"Like I said it holds powers within."

"I accept your proposition." Xiaran smiled. She will get Sesshoumaru and killed that human scum. She took the shard from the hayou. "Who are you anyway?"

"Everyone knows me as Naraku…"

Ray's thoughts: Now Naraku comes into the picture, I hope that there won't be havoc around my working place…

Thoughts interrupted by angry shouts; turned to see Inuyasha and his group returned and groaned.

Inuyasha: You have put me in the shadows long enough!

Kagome: Inuyasha (Warning in her voice) We still need to search for Sakura!

Inuyasha: Feh, like I care…

Ray: Uh oh (Watching Kagome boiling over)

Kagome: OSUAWRI!!!!!

Ray: Inuyasha you can never learn huh…

Shaking her head and was about to turned to start on her work when someone grabbed her butt.

Ray: AUGHHHH! (Turned around; her hand slapping onto a face)

Sango: Miroku can never learn too (Sigh, shaking her head)

Kirara: (Incline her head) Meow!!!!

Ray: Don't touch my butt!

Miroku: Couldn't help it! (Laugh uneasily touching his reddened cheek)

Ray's thoughts: Must put them into more difficult tasks to get them off my back!!!!!
