warning-slight torture, not too bad imo. i was gonna make it alot worse, but thought that i would go easy on my first ever torture scene. ^.^
The door slightly cracked open, though not much light filtered in, the squeaking was what alerted them. Two men came in, slowly, seeming like they wanted to intimidate them. The first man was younger, tall, and well muscled in the chest area, with his waist-length dark hair pulled into a braid. He had a cross tattooed on his forehead. The second was an older man, short and fleshy, possibly disfigured, with tattoos on his chin and around his large round eyes.
"How did you like my drugs, little ones?" The older man smirked cruelly. " Did they please you?" He walked up to Kagome and grabbed her chin. Pulling her up, he pursed his lips as if to kiss her. "I hated to have to use them on such a beauty as you." He turned her face to the side and licked her cheek languidly, ensuring everyone awake saw it. Most couldnt yet comment on it, the poison still in effect.
Inuyasha awkwardly tried to stand, failing miserably as his bindings held him down. Kouga spit at him, missing by a foot. The younger of the two men stepped in between the hostages. "Enough!" He kicked Kagomes legs and the older man dropped her. She cried out. Pain and shock filled her.
The older man went and kicked the others. He pulled a bag of purple dust out of his pocket. " Now be good, or youll go back to sleep. This powder can knock you out for three weeks with just one breath of it. My favorite thing about it though, is that you can feel all the pain inflicted upon you, but not cry out, or move to stop it. Its a real.." The younger man rolled his eyes and hit the short one in the back of the head with a scabbard.
"Shut up, they dont care. You guard them please. I'll take care of the girl." He grabbed Kagome by her hair and pulled her up sharply. He slapped her hard across the cheek. "Tell me where it is...and dont play dumb either!" She shook her head, trying to clear it, and think, but he mistook it as a 'no.' He threw her against the far wall and sauntered over towards her. He pulled his leg back, as if to kick her, but froze when he heard her muffled voice.
"Please...i have no idea what your talking about." She hoarsely gasped out. She brought her hands up to cover her face instinctively, not prepared that he would kick her stomach. She gasped, losing her breath. He picked her up to face him and pulled out a knife. He began to cut her clothes off, not caring if he cut her flesh. He ran the knife down the middle of her chest and stomach, leaving red welts in its wake. She tried to hold in her tears, scared of what they would do if they saw her crying.
"Mukotsu, didnt he say that she would say that?" The younger man snickered. "This is going to be more fun than I thought, here i was thinking that this puny teenager would just give in."
"He did say that, Bankotsu...he did, but hurry up, these brats are annoying." The older man, now known as Mukotsu said. Mukotsu was kicking them everytime they tried to interfere with Bankotsu and Kagome. They couldnt do much, but their incessant moans and wiggling against their restaints were getting on his nerves. "He also said not to use my methods...."Mukotsu scowled, growling slightly. "I like my poisons..." His voice trailed off as he began to mumble.
"Now, girl, about the jewel, we want it, and we know youve got it."
"My name is Kagome! Ka, Go, Me! Get it right bud!"Kagome kicked about hoping to hit something that would cause him to drop her, but since her legs were bound she couldnt do much. He held her tighter so he wouldnt drop her, then thinking for a moment, let her go. She began flopping around on the floor. Bankotsu bent down and stabbed her calf. She screamed out in agony and then fell still.
"Okay, Ka, Go, Me...if you promise to be good for a bit, I'll cut the rope off you, so you can stand on your own. You're getting kinda heavy." She opened her mouth to respond, but Bankotsu slapped her before she could. "Just nod your head 'yes' if youll be good." She quickly nodded. Bankotsu bent down and slit the ropes on her knees, ankles, and around her wrists. She grabbed her aching, bleeding calf and held it tight to ease the pain. "The jewel Kagome...where is it? Its obviously not with you...might I say you have a beautiful body? Ah well, it doesnt matter if you want me to say it or not." He laughed, a deep belly laugh, it brought out his more boyish features, and made it seem as if he went into the wrong business. The laugh left a little sparkle in his blue-green eyes, and Kagome found herself entranced by it. She didnt know if she was fearful of it, or just amazed that someone so evil could look so innocent.
"What jewel?" Kagome's voice caught in her throat. Her mouth was dry and her tounge felt like cotton. Bankotsu kicked her cut leg, and she bit her tounge to hold her cry in. Tears streamed down her face in confusion and pain. "I really dont know, please, tell me...what jewel.."She broke into sobs.
"Hm, you really dont know, damm, maybe he was wrong about all this shit. Maybe, maybe you just need to be beaten some more? Or maybe...maybe something else would help you...."His voice trailed off as he stuck his tounge out and licked his teeth, then his lips. He grabbed her up by her hair and licked her cheek. "Maybe you just need to be taught your place, little girl..." Kagome slapped at his hands with hers, scared of what he would do and what his words and actions had implied. He held her up against the wall and pulled his knife back in his hands. He slammed it into the wall right beside her eye. She flinched slightly. "I'll let you think about it for a bit. We'll be back." He let go of Kagome and walked out the door, locking it with a loud click. Mukotsu looked towards Kagome and winked, then followed the younger man out the door. Kagome crumpled to the floor and burst out in sobs.
"Kagome, Kagome, dont cry." Inuyasha said. "We'll get out of this. I promise I'll protect you." He struggled over to her, squirming against ropes. "Cut these off me, Kagome..please..." He begged, trying to get her to respond. She glanced up, her hair covering her eyes, her mouth set in grim determination. She stood up, careful not to put weight on her hurt leg. She ripped the knife out of the wall and slashed the ropes binding Inuyahsa's arms and legs. She walked over to the others and did the same.
"Kagome-chan, what is this of a jewel?" Miroku asked, his hand reaching towards Sango's rear as she stood up. Sango hit him on his head with her fist and he began rubbing his head. Sango rolled her eyes.
"If I knew, I would have told them. Why would they want some jewel? I dont have any jewels worth anything anyways...not that I know about anyways." She walked in the semi-dark room to where the door was and felt around for a light switch. Finding one, she flicked it to realize it didnt work. "Darn, no electricity." Inuyahsa handed her his red shirt since hers was not whole enough to be considered clothing anymore. She put it on wincing when it hit the welts the knife had left behind. Inuyahsa sat her down and grabbed her leg to inspect how deep the cut was. He scooted over and grabbed her old shirt and ripped a piece that would work to stop the bleeding. He carefully tied it around her leg, trying not to bind it too loose or too tight. Shippo, the youngest of the group, was hovering near Kagome trying not to upset Inuyasha while he worked. Shippo was very close to Kagome. In school he got picked on alot and she was always ready to stand up for him and protect him against whoever it may be. Now, she was the one getting picked on and there was nothing he could do. He waited on Inuyasha to get finished so he could get a hug from his big sister figure.
"So, how are we gonna get out of here?" Kouga asked, hovering over Inuyasha and Kagome also. "Dog-shit, be careful with my woman." Kagome just rolled her eyes. Inuyasha finished bandaging her and stood up to face Kouga.
"Shes not your women you wimp." Inuyasha's violet eyes sparked with rage.
"Looking for a fight? Huh? I'll whoop your ass any.."
"Shut up you two, we dont have time for this." Kagome said, hobbling between them. "We have to find a way out, or at least let someone know were here, or something..." Sango was standing away from the rest, with a thoughtful look on her face. "Sango? Whats wrong?" Kagome walked over to her and put her hand on her friends shoulder.
"Bankotsu, Mukotsu....I think I know those names...from somewhere...I just cant..think.." Sango snapped her fingers. "Its from the news, thats right! There was a series of murders all over the state..or something...its been a while..." She began to chew on her nail. "There were seven of them...all with 'Kotsu' at the end of their names. They were all cousins or brothers or something...I dont remember. Dang it! Why cant I remember?!" She slumped her shoulders and wiped Kagomes hand off of her. Kagome backed up from her.
"Its okay, Sango. At least you know that much. I didnt even know that." Kagome rubbed her head. "This is going to be a long day. Wait...what time is it?"
They all fumbled around for a minute. Shippo held up his arm. "6:37." He declared. "That could be morning or night by the sun shining through the boards."
"Umm, guys, we need to get out of here, we cant just sit here and wait for them to come back to find us all untied..." Sango said, stepping from one foot to the other, carefully balancing her weight. "Hentai!" She slapped Miroku, leaving a hand print.
"Im so misunderstood." Miroku sighed. "Well, I know in all the movies its really stupid, but if we split up into two groups, maybe one will get out and can get the others help...."
"Thats great, letch." Inuyasha smirked as Miroku sighed again. " Kagome and Shippo with me.."
"Dont leave me with that hentai!"
"Ah, but Sango-sama, I am but a humble.."
"Shut up, Im not leaving YOU with MY woman dog face!"
"Guys, its not that big of a deal, Kouga, Sango and Inuyahsa go one way and Miroku, Shippo and me will go the oth..."
"NO!"
"No way! Kagome what are you thinking? Im not leaving you with that letch."
Shippo was unusually quiet throughout all of this. Suddenly, he stepped in the middle of everyone. "Guys, does anyone even know where we are?"
