A/N: Thanks for reviewing. It's true that you can catch rabies from rats, but think older and far more deadly. I don't own Inuuyasha or House. This is the final chapter. But, if you guys ask real nice, I might write another Inu/ House fic.

Foreman looked up again to see that the roof over the well was back as well as Dr. Chase, who was now searching the well for him. He climbed out and as he reached the top and stepped out the other doctor looked at him questioningly. “What happened?”

“You wouldn't believe me if I told you.” He walked out of the small building, pulling out his cell phone and flipping it open dialed in a number. A few seconds later the other end picked up.

“Hello?”

“House, it's Foreman. I may have found something. Test her for the Yersina Pestis Bacteria.”

“The bubonic plague?” Cameron and Chase asked from opposite sides of the globe.

“Just do it.”

“You heard the man,” House said, pointing toward the door. Cameron roled her eyes and walked out of the room, the line went dead.

“But, she's got no rotting flesh!”

“Yeah, the antibiotics and tests we were running must have slowed it down.”

Two hours later…

Cameron pressed a button on the keyboard of a large computer and her eyes widened. “He was right.” She ran to the room where House was already standing, setting up the needle with the vaccine.

“What are you doing?” Cameron asked walking into the room.

“What does it look like I'm doing. I'm giving the kid her medicine.”

“But, the test results weren't even back yet.”

“You said `weren't'. That means they must be back now. What did they say?”

“She tested positive.”

“Okey then.” Kagome watched curiously as the doctor stuck the needle into her arm and injected her with a clear liquid. “You should be better in a week or so.” House explained. “It takes time for this stuff to work.”

“Thanks,” The young girl replied, rubbing the small cut in her arm.

A/N: I might write an epilogue for fun, but otherwise the story's over. I know it was a crappy ending but I didn't want to drag it on much longer.
