A/N: Here's the next chapter hope you enjoy. I realize it's slightly boring but it's basically developing the plot more.

Binab86: Yeah (scratches head) I don't usually check to see how much I write, I just go by how much sense that it doesn't make to end where I end.

MySeSsY-kUn: I don't know if there will be. I doubt it, probably she just be rude and stuff. If there was a fight, possibly. I haven't exactly written anything yet regarding Kagome and Kikyo decking it out. But it would be fun.

Sesshomaru13: I'm sorry! I've been so busy it's so hard for me to balance school and writing lately. We're reading Great Expectations and I just can't get it. My parent have gone anal because my English grade dropped so much, it's so hard to write with them always over my shoulder, I guess I'm just mentally exhausted.

 

Last time:

 

“This is one of my students, Higurashi Kagome. Higurashi-san this is my father Taisho-”

 

“I just go by Taisho.”

 

“Pleasure to meet you, Taisho-san.”

 

“Like-wise, my dear. Now let's get lunch I am starved.”

 

Chapter 4 Awkward Circumstances

 

“Where are we going?” Kagome asked the two men sitting across from her in the limo. Both looked at each other, then looked at Rin. “Toushi's,” they said in unison.

 

“Huh? I don't think I've ever been there.” Kagome looked down, slightly sad.

 

“It has very good food and games.” Rin said filled with excitement. Kagome looked at Rin and smiled. “If she likes it, it's probably ok.”

 

“Don't worry my dear,” Taisho said. “It's very good food, and you'll have fun.”

 

Sesshoumaru glared at his father. `What is he thinking? He's probably up to something, he's almost smirking.' Sesshoumaru started to glare at his father.

 

`They are both glaring at each other! Is this normal? Rin is ok with it, she doesn't even seem to notice that they aren't talking.'

 

“Kagome, are you alright you seem dazed?” Taisho asked worriedly. “It's ok we fight like this all of the time. Don't be worried.”

 

“Oh, it just surprised me, that's all,” Kagome blushed. `What is wrong with me? I'm acting like a child.'

 

“I need to use the bathroom,” Rin whined. Kagome volunteered so Sesshoumaru could catch up with his father.

 

`Hmm, interesting. I like her and I think Sesshoumaru does too. She is clearly fascinated with him, though. Maybe if I nudge them in the right direction. I have to be careful though Sesshoumaru might not see things my way.'

 

“Sesshoumaru, I have been thinking, that it's time for you to settle down you have a daughter to think about. You need a wife.”

 

“What are you talking about?”

 

“Do I really need to repeat myself? You know what I am talking about. You have until the thirtieth of May to get engaged or I will pick out a wife for you.” He spoke while inwardly smirking at his clever trick.

 

“That is a disgustingly low trick, father. How am I supposed to find a wife when I have a job and a child?” Sesshoumaru asked disgust clearly visible.

 

“That's for you to figure out. Oh, look here comes Rin and Kagome.” `That was perfect he looks so perplexed.'

 

“What did you guys order?”

 

“Chow Mien, Mongolian Beef, and Sizzling rice soup. Is that ok?”

 

“Yes.” Kagome said turning to Sesshoumaru who was looking quite vexed

 

`Kagome, how will I ask you to marry me?' Sesshoumaru thought oblivious to the meal before him.
