Sango smiled and started petting her little pet. "I don't think I'll ever get used to you turning into a humanoid Kirara, you're just too cute when your in this form."

Inuyasha sniffed the air and growled. "Sesshomaru, what are YOU doing here?!"

"Hello brother." A silver haired man said as he walked out of the shadows. "I came to free you and your little friends from the human bitches."

"Keh! Yeah right, those humans are mikos and demon slayers. They'll kill you in a flash and who ever said that we wanted to be freed?" Inuyasha snorted. "I like living with these humans, they treat me like equals unlike the youkais of our pack, I'm a low life hanyou. They hate me and I hate them."

Sesshomaru lifted a brow. "I could never understand you brother but I doubt that our pack can tease you anymore, they where all killed by demon slayers in the war. I was very pleased to hear that at least YOU are still alive." Sesshomaru said. "However I'm ashamed that you wish to stay with filthy humans."

"I do as I please, now go before kikyou finds you. She doesn't like evil youkais." Inuyasha snickered.

"Evil?" Sesshomaru looked amused. "So I guess this Kikyou human must HATE you brother."

"OI! I was NEVER EVIL!" Inuyasha glared.

"Inuyasha?" Kikyou called. "who are you talking to?"

Inuyasha's eyes widened. "Go! Get away from here!"

"I'm touched Inuyasha, you really do care for me." Sesshomaru grinned.

Kikyou walked in and dropped a bowl of soup she was carrying

"in your dreams!" Inuyasha yelled and noticed Kikyou. "kikyou!"

"Inu-yasha, I didn't know you had a girlfriend." Kikyou whispered.

Sesshomaru chocked back his anger. "Inuyasha…. Did this HUMAN just call me your girlfriends?? More importantly did she just call me a GIRL?!"

Inuyasha was rolling on the ground laughing. "HAHAH!! Kikyou this is my brother!! Hahahahah!!" His eyes started to water.

"Your brother?" Kikyou stared long and hard at Sesshomaru and then face faulted. "you're a ….. guy??"

Sesshomaru gritted his teeth and nodded.

"OOOH MY GOD!!! I'm sooooo sorry!!>_<;;" Kikyou shouted and bowed. "Gomen!! Gomen!! Gomen!! Gomen!! Gomen!! Gomen!! Gomen!!"

"it's alright…." Sesshomaru growled.

"umm… would you like o join us for Breakfast?" Kikyou sweat dropped.

Inuyasha wiped away his tears and grinned. "yes, join us for breakfast, Sesshomaru-SAN!!"

Sesshomaru twitched and twitched again. "I would love to join you Kikyou-sama….."

Kikyou smiled. "okay lets go then." She walked off.

Once Kikyou was no longer visible Sesshomaru lunged at Inuyasha. "YOU! BAKA!!"

"eep!" Inuyasha ran and grinned. "it's not MY fault you look like a girl Sesshy!"

"INU-YASHA!!!" Sesshomaru growled. "do you really wish to die so young?" he flexed his claws and let green poison ooze out

Kikyou meanwhile told everyone about Inuyasha's brother Sesshomaru. "he'll be joining us for breakfast."

"Sesshomaru? I heard of him before." Sango muttered. "isn't he the lord of the Western lands?"

"I think so." Kikyou commented.

Kouga snorted. "Great more baka Inu's."

"Kouga, don't be rude this is the western Lord you're talking about." Kagome frowned.

`what is he doing here? Is he going to try and free us?' Kouga thought.

"Kikyou-san. Is this youkai a bad one?" Kaede asked. Rin was huddled behind her looking scared.

"Don't worry, if he is I'll protect you." Miroku winked at them.

Kikyou glared at him. "keep away from my little sisters you pervert!"

"I'm deeply hurt Kikyou" Miroku pouted. "I would never hit on your sisters."

Everyone rolled their eyes and thought that he would and already has.

Kohaku looked at his sister. "Sango… do you think he wants to steal the shik-"

Sango clapped her hand over Kohaku's mouth and dragged him into the corner. "How do you know about the Shikon no tama?"

"I read the letter father sent you, it's been a few days since." Kohaku winced. "I didn't tell anyone else not even Sota. Do you think father is really… dead?"

Sango's eyes softened. "I don't know Kohaku, I really don't know." She hugged him close. "what a horrible thing to keep to yourself. Why didn't you tell me earlier that you knew?"

Kohaku chocked back a sob. "because I thought you where going to get really mad at me."

"I wouldn't get mad over something like that, I was going to tell you guys after we got to the fort, I just didn't want everyone to be all gloomy and besides we don't know if father and Aya are really dead." Sango said.

Kohaku nodded meekly and sighed. "first we lose mother and now we might have lost father too."

"do you remember mother?" Sango asked.

"not really, all I remember was her face." Kohaku looked at Sango and took a deep breath. "Sango do you know who she was?"

"Hai, our mother was the best taija-ya miko in the world She was Midoriko." Sango said.

"I knew it!" Kohaku shouted. "I knew it! Because I saw a painting of Midoriko and she looked just like mother!"

"Lets go and eat breakfast, Okay?" Sango smiled.

"Hai."

Kikyou finished her soup and smiled. "Sango what did you put in this soup? It's really good."

"Um I'm not sure." Sango sweat dropped. "I just added a bunch of vegetables and stuff."

Inuyasha coughed. "you mean you could have added poison without knowing!"

"calm down Inuyasha, I didn't smell anything bad in this." Sesshomaru said coolly.

"I'm done!" Shippo jumped up and ran to the wagon he was sleeping in.

"Is it just me or is Shippo scared or Sesshomaru?" Kagome whispered to Kouga.

"Yes Shippo is scared of Sesshomaru, it's a long story and you don't want to hear it." Kouga smirked.

"ooh."

Shippo sat in his wagon and shivered. `why is Sesshomaru here? Does he want to try to eat me again?! Whhaaaa! I don't want o be eaten!!'

Kouga jumped into Shippo's wagon and tapped Shippo on the shoulder. "Oi!"

"wwhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Sesshomaru g-go away!' Shippo stuttered. "Oro… you're' not Sesshomaru."

"baka! Sesshomaru was just a puppy when he tried to eat you. Inuyasha and I where daring him to pretend to eat you. So just chill okay… he's the lord of the western lands now…. I doubt he will try to eat you." Kouga snorted.

Shippo sighed. "but still Seeing Sesshomaru gives be the creeps… doesn't he look like a girl?"

"Yes he does…" Kouga snickered. "but I assure you he is a guy."

"I don't believe you." Shippo snapped. "he is a girl!!"

"Whatever Shippo." Kouga rolled his eyes and went away.

~|~|~|~ At Naraku's castle ~|~|~|~

"Lord Naraku! You called me here?" A female youkai with red eyes asked.

"Yes Kgura. I wan you to go and get the Shikon no tama." Naraku said.

"hai.. but my lord where is it?" Kagura stuttered.

" You will find it just look for a human girl with a gaint boomerang. I must attend other this." Naraku smirked. "Go!"

"h-hai!" Kagura ran out of the room. `at least he didn't order me to kill more Taija-ya. Those humans are powerful.'

Naraku smirked. `yes I must go to the fort of the taija-ya and prepare the trap.'

~|~|~|~ Back with Sango and co. ~|~|~|~

Kouga and Inuyasha glared art each other as Sesshomaru sat in a tree watching them in boredom with Rin sitting on his lap playing with his fluffy tail.

Sango, Kirara and Kikyou went ahead to look for the waterfall and Kagome was playing with Kaede, Sota, Kohaku and Shippo.

This left Miroku very bored and alone. `ahh, I should have joined Sango-chan. I have nothing to do.' He looked up at the sky and lifted a brow. A giant white feather was flouting down near the camp. `wait! I know who that is!'

Kagura landed and put the feather back into her hair. It was a simple shrinking spell really but it always made her proud to know that she could do it. "Now I know I saw a human with a huge boomerang around here somewhere."

"Kagura!!"

"eh?" Kagura turned around only to be tackled by a very happoy monk. "eep!"

Miroku landed on top of his adoptive sister. "Kagura! You're alive!"

"Miroku?" Kagura widened her eyes and hugged him back. " Miroku! I thought the humans took you prisoner after the war ended!"

"they did." Miroku stood up and help Kagura up. "but I was bought for a slave by a VERY pretty human girl. I'm very happy right now with my life. Tell me Kagura how did you survie? I-I saw you being stabbed to death by a human."

"I was but I was saved by someone.." Kagura blushed. "he was very kind to heal me."

"Oooh has my little sister gotten a crush on someone?" Miroku smiled.

" Noo way! He was just very handsome that's all. Anyways… I'm here bacuse I have a job to do." Kagura said. "do you know of a human with a giant boomerang?"

"yes." Miroku said. "why? Do you want something from her?"

"Yes, Lord Naraku ordered me to get the Shikon no tama from her." Kagura answered.

`Naraku? Oh no! Kagura! She works for Naraku now?!' Miroku winced. `that would make us enemies.'

"Miroku?" Kagura looked confused. "are you alright?"

"Kagura! I want you to stop working for Naraku right now!" Miroku snapped.

"nani?" she stepped back. "why should I? Miroku… don't tell me that your human master is that girl with the boomerang."

He nodded.

"no……" Kagura started to cry. "noo! That can't be right! Naraku would have told me that the monk with her was you! No….. I just found you again brother… why do we have to be enemies?!"

"Kag-chan." Miroku patted her shoulder. "we don't have to be enemies. Just quit working for Naraku."

"but…. I can't…." Kagura wailed. " Naraku sore that if I disobeyed him he would kill Mother…"

"what did he do to Mother!?" Miroku demanded.

"Mother she fell in love with him. Naraku, is my step father." Kagura sobbed.
