****Chapter 8- Recoverment Morning*****

I hope that they're all right." Sango said with a hint of worry in her voice. "Don't worry, Shippo is going to be all right, he's got both Kagome and Inuyasha at his side watching over him." Miroku said, trying to comfort her. "Come to think of it, let's go check on them." Miroku looked at her and smiled, she did the same and nodded and both went up the stairs. Sango was a little worried when she went upstairs and left them to eat in silence. She had not made one peep as to say if she was all right or if Shippo was all right. She then giggled at her next thought; there had never been a dull moment that day at all. She was never going to hear the end of it from Kagome when she got back.

They finally reached Kagomes room, and were shocked and happy at the scene before them. They couldn't help but smile at the two, they decided not to wake the `couple' (A/N Miroku's little word for them! = ) and shut the door quietly. They headed back down the stairs and talked for a while longer, then decided to go to sleep. Sango took the couch and Miroku had to sleep on the other side of the room on the floor.

-Next Morning-

Kagome was the first to wake up the next morning. She wiped the sleep from her eyes, and went to check on Shippo, his stats were fine. When she got up to leave she heard a large breathe come from Shippo….which meant….He was awake now!!! She ran over to him and greeted him silently, she started to cry of overjoyment. "Mommy, is that you?" Shippo asked. "Yes, Shippo, I'm here. Are you all right? Are you hungry? Do you want pancakes?" she asked the kitsune, he nodded his head, and stretched his limbs.

Kagome got up and put a blanket around Inuyasha to replace her warmth. She then walked over to Shippo and picked him up and took him down stairs. When they did reach the bottom of the stairs, they saw Sango and Miroku on the floor huddling under one blanket. Some how Sango fell off the couch and Miroku rolled over to her and they stayed like that all night. Kagome couldn't wait to see what would happen if they woke up like that. Both of them just smiled and shook their heads, and went to the kitchen to make pancakes.

Inuyasha woke up and noticed that both Shippo and Kagome were gone, he could still smell her in the house, making breakfast so he went to join them. He saw the same scene at the bottom of the stairs and thought, `I can't wait to tease them about this one' he said with a smile and gave them a `Feh' and went to the kitchen. When he got to the kitchen, he stopped and took in the scene before him, Kagome had an apron on, and Shippo was on the counter helping her, he smiled and then thought, `I'm smiling to much these days.' He sighed and started to walkover to them.

Before he could reach anyone of them he heard a `SPLAT' come from the kitchen, he looked at them and Shippo had batter all over him and Kagome had batter all over her fingers. Then Shippo recovered from the shock and took some and through it at Kagome and this started a huge food fight. Inuyasha was shocked! His Kagome was just so sad a couple hours ago and now look at her! She's having a food fight and laughing, and being happy. Not that he mind in the least.

He was brought out of his thoughts when a sticky substance landed on his ears and all over his face. He looked at Kagome and Shippo who stared in shock. Shippo then broke the silence, "OOOOOOHHHHHHHH! Kagome's in trouble!" That started another big fight, by Inuyasha who took a big chunk of batter and threw it at Kagome, who by the way was extremely pissed and they started yelling and laughing, but forgot about the sleeping couple sleeping in the living room.

In fact, just about then, Miroku and Sango got up and slapped Miroku for being so close to her (When it was actually her fault. Don' tell her that she might hurt me!) and went to see what the ruckus was. They saw what was happening, so Sango tried to interrupt it, "What" she was cut off by some batter flung into her face by Inuyasha. She gave him a glare that could freeze hell over and threw some at him and then Miroku joined in too. They both had fun getting dirty when they had just got up.

-1 Hour 30 minutes later-

"We're going to have to clean this up before mom and Grandpa get up, if they aren't already." Kagome stated after they had finished off the batter in the battle. Kagome took a step and slipped on some batter and fell on her back. They started another laughing fit, Inuyasha got up and helped her off the ground and on to her feet.

Shippo then jumped into her arms and started to talk to her. "Don't worry about cleaning up Kagome! Demons are good cleaners, they learn to use their abilities to do their chores faster. Let's do this Inuyasha!" Shippo looked at Inuyasha who was glaring at him. Shippo backed away and took off to go start cleaning.

Then it suddenly hit Kagome what Shippo first said! She looked at Inuyasha with a sinister glare on her face directed at him. She then yelled, "SIT!!!" "Ow! What the hell was that for?" he asked. Kagome gave him a look and started to tell her story. "When we pack up camp, you always bitch about how we take our time and you la on your FAT butt and do nothing! If you wanted us to move faster and have less `S' words then we could have left earlier!" she yelled. "Oh, huh..huh.. that." He stated nervously. He didn't want to piss Kagome off anymore, when she even said one cuss word, you better run for your life if you want to keep it. Before anymore beatings could happen, Shippo grabbed Inuyasha and set to work.

For the next hour, they cleaned up and packed up, and stayed out of Kagome's way, for fear of their lives. When they finished packing, and getting dressed into their normal clothes, they went to the well house and went through the well to their era. They climbed out of the well and stretched their limbs and raced each other to Keade's hut. Obviously, Inuyasha won, sadly. (CHEATER!) They couldn't wait to tell Keade about their adventures in the modern era.

Keade listened to each of their stories, and laughed her heart out to the point where she almost cried. After they were finished with the stories, she told them her favorite story was when Sango provided Miroku with a trip to the Atlantic Ocean. Most of all though she laughed at the bumps and bruises that they had received from one another. She thought to her self, `I can't wait to tell the village women.' She couldn't wait to see what their reaction would be.
