Kagome watched them go outside; she wondered if it was okay to go out with Inuyasha even though his girlfriend just arrived. `Oh, of course… Kikyo will say: “I'm okay with the fact that you're going out with your ex girlfriend, I don't mind of course… maybe next time I can join you two.” Of course she doesn't know that I'm not really his ex girlfriend and she shouldn't be jealous at all since… that's not the point! Maybe I should… I think it should be better for me to go, I'm just being annoying to them.' Kagome decided with determination before taking a deep breath and turning around, suddenly she heard a sigh behind her. She turned her head and she looked stunned at Kikyo as her face held deception all over it. The reviewer held her eyes on the floor, lost along the marble made rectangles in the floor. Kagome touched her shoulder lightly before speaking.
“Are you okay Kikyo? Is something wrong?” Kikyo turned her eyes towards her before smiling softly for a sole moment.
“No, I was just thinking.” Kikyo bit her bottom lip lightly, Kagome watched her eyes water and she covered her mouth. “Excuse me; I have to go to the bathroom.”
She glared at Kikyo as she ran towards the bathroom, Kikyo didn't want her to see she was crying and Kagome just didn't know what to do. Although, Kagome didn't know what had happened between her and Inuyasha outside she somehow felt it was her fault. `I'm guilty as charged; I don't even know why I agreed to go out with Inuyasha… I knew it wasn't right. Maybe… maybe I should tell him to go with Kikyo; it's the right thing after all.' Kagome thought as her eyes remained posed on the bathroom's door, she looked at it with pity; the girl inside there was so in love with Inuyasha and knowing that she was possibly the reason why she was crying she felt her heart breaking as well. Suddenly, she felt a pair of strong hands holding her shoulders tightly and then turning her around. Kagome had a short glance at Inuyasha before he collapsed his lips against hers, making her whole body tingle, her knees weakened, her heart seemed to be about to explode and her lips were on fire. Inuyasha pulled a part and was as shocked as Kagome looked at him as she bit her lips gently.
“I don't think that was on my `to do' list.” She said filled with awkwardness before Inuyasha shook his head.
“I didn't mean to… I…” Kagome nodded and placed her hand on his mouth.
“Don't say anything, it was an accident… I know that was meant for Kikyo,” Kagome laughed dryly before clearing up her throat. “I won't tell her and neither should you.”
“But I… Kagome…” he said once he pulled away her hand, Kagome felt her hand sweating and her heart beat faster, just like when his lips were above hers. She quickly pulled her hand away and turned around, avoiding his eyes to notice the redness on her cheeks.
“Let's pretend this never happened, okay? It won't be hard for me…” Kagome commented as she watched her hands shake out of excitement; she directed her eyes towards his golden orbs and faked a smile on her face. “And you might feel the same way.”
“What do you mean `you might feel the same way'?” Kikyo asked cleaning her nose with a tissue; Inuyasha looked at her and smiled sweetly before running to her and embracing her.
“Kikyo… I think Inuyasha has something to tell you.” Kagome pushed him towards her, she somehow knew it was wrong but she wanted him to be happy and apparently, that's what Kikyo did for him.
“I was a fool; I really want to be with you tonight.” Kagome heard him say, Kikyo smiled and sniffed trying to stop more tears from rolling.
“Really?” she whispered and Inuyasha nodded with a grin, he gently cleaned a tear around her eye and kissed her lips lightly.
“Really.” Kikyo grabbed his hand and looked back at Kagome, she waved at her and Kikyo smiled before leaving along with her boyfriend.
Kagome stared at the happy couple as they exited the restaurant, she sighed heavily before grabbing her jacket and turning off the lights. She looked at the peaceful place before closing the door and directing to her lonely apartment, where she would be unable to sleep after such a candid kiss that had made her live again on her inside.

Sango stared at her reflection on the mirror for the thousand time; every time she took another look at her self she thought her outfit didn't fit for the night. Although she reassured herself that Hiten would love it, she couldn't help but to feel very nervous. Her tight black pants with her extravagant pink tank top let her body curves show up. She was barely wearing make up, she had eye liner on and mascara to make her beautiful full chocolate eyes glow. Sango's hair was down, something she never did but she wanted to look special for him. `I can't wear this; I don't look good enough for him… I should change, now.' Sango decided just when she heard the doorbell ring, her eyes widened. `Okay, okay… don't panic, I'll open the door for him and ask him to wait for me as I change… I'm sure he'll understand.' Sango nodded for herself and quickly walked towards her door, she opened it to find a bouquet of pink roses in front of her; Sango smiled surprised and Hiten smiled at her seductively.
“Did my brother tell you I like pink?” Sango asked and he chuckled, Hiten touched her chin lightly before planting a kiss on her cheek.
“No, I like to take chances…” Sango blushed and grabbed the flowers; she sniffed them and then placed them on the kitchen table.
“Thanks, I love them. Would you wait for me a few minutes? I need to get changed.” Hiten arched his brow and chuckled.
“Are you kidding? You look so gorgeous that I'm jealous just thinking how many men will be staring at you tonight.” Sango blushed once again and smiled joyfully.
“Fine, let's go.” Hiten let a triumphal smirk show up and grabbed her hand as they walked out her apartment.
As Hiten drove to the restaurant he wanted to take her, they talked about their jobs. Sango talked to him about Shikon Cook, Hiten commented that he really liked that place and that the food was pretty good although not many people knew about the place. Sango asked him what he worked on, he said he was a celebrity chef and administrated a club along with Kohaku. He talked to her about how he met Kohaku after a modeling show, he was catering in that party and after a few drinks with her brother they had become great friends. They finally arrived to the restaurant, Hiten opened the door for her and Sango felt flattered just like when he held the chair for her to sit. The waiter came with the menus and left them alone to decide what they were going to eat.
“I guess that you might have an exquisite taste for food, just like any other chef I know.” Sango shook her head as she smiled.
“Not really, I do enjoy cooking all those delicious and fancy plates but it's more enjoyable to eat something you really like… my favorite food is fish and chips, I know its sounds crazy…”
“No, of course not… if you like it, I won't judge you. I enjoy something even worse… I like vanilla ice cream with French fries; if you want you can throw up now.” Sango laughed and shook her head.
“I believe everyone enjoys what they like.” Sango said before grabbing a piece of bread on the basket in front of her.
“Yeah, just like I enjoy my time with you… because I like you.” Sango was about to choke with the bread she had on her mouth but she simply coughed and smiled again.
“Well, I…”
“Hey Sango, I thought that was you.” Miroku said approaching to her table, Sango stood up and looked at him deeply.
“Miroku, this is…”
“Hiten, nice to meet you man…” Hiten interrupted as he offered him his hand, Miroku looked at it for a moment before shaking it lightly.
“This is Yuka, my girlfriend.” Sango waved at the girl next to him and faked a smile; Miroku sighed uncomfortably and looked at Sango. “Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow.”
Sango nodded as she watched the couple walk towards a table across them, she sat down and Hiten looked at her a bit worried. Sango couldn't take her eyes off of that Yuka girl. `She called her his girlfriend… did he really move on that fast? What am I saying? Miroku is such a playboy, it was more than obvious that he would be dating another girl already.' Hiten snapped his fingers in front of Sango's face, making her react and smile embarrassed.
“I'm sorry, what were we saying?” Sango asked and Hiten arched his brow.
“Who is he?” She sighed heavily and turned her eyes to the candle on the table, Hiten anxiously waited for her answer.
“He's my ex boyfriend… I kinda screwed up and we finished our relationship in such a bad way that I don't even want to remember it.” Sango sighed heavily before turning her eyes back to his and smiling a bit. “But that's all over now… why don't you tell me more about yourself?”
“I don't think I can tell you more about myself, I just think that my love for fine cuisine is more than enough to describe me.” Sango smiled and turned her eyes to Miroku's table for a second, he looked back at her and she immediately glared at Hiten.
“I bet I'm a better chef than you… you cook for mere celebrities, you tell them that eating shit is cool and they will follow you.” Hiten laughed and shook his head.
“Yeah, but they have the most demanding tastes and I have to sweat my ass off to cook something for them… unlike you who has to cook for people that will enjoy anything that is already pre-selected for them.” Sango smiled and Hiten grabbed his hand. “You know… among all the girls Kohaku has got me to date I think that you're the best, I think I'll keep you.”
“Excuse me?” Sango said between giggles. “And what if I don't want you to keep me?”
“Well, I may have to change your mind…” Hiten said with a mischievous smirk on his face as he moved closer to her, Sango closed her eyes waiting for his lips to crash on hers.
“I'm sorry sir but the gentleman from the table across sends you this as a courtesy.” Sango heard the waiter say, Hiten looked up at the waiter to notice he was holding a bottle of champagne; he smiled and nodded. “Are you ready to order?”
“Um… give us a few more minutes please.” Hiten said, Sango looked at Miroku who was busy eying his menu. “I guess that didn't go as I planned it.”
“Don't worry; I think you can have many other chances.” Sango smiled biting her bottom lip gently before turning her eyes at the menu.

After a long night with his girlfriend, Inuyasha was more than ready to go home. Kikyo had really planned a special evening for them; she prepared dinner for them and spent the whole night under the moon light on her apartment's balcony staring at the sky as they ate dessert. Kikyo wanted him to stay that night, saying that it would make it even more magical but Inuyasha had to rest and he only had 5 more hours to able to do so. He gave her a good night kiss before going to his apartment, he lazily opened the door and walked towards the kitchen to grab something to drink; his throat was soaring after the amount of chocolate he ate for dessert. Inuyasha looked at his shadowy living room as he drank a glass of water and suddenly, he noticed someone sleeping on his couch. He got a bit scared but soon walked towards his bedroom and grabbed a baseball bat he kept underneath his bed, he crouched and slowly moved to his couch when he saw whoever was laying there turn on the lamp next to Inuyasha. Inuyasha yelled and Sesshomaru yelled before realizing the siblings were just staring at each other, Inuyasha stopped and tried to catch his breath.
“Jesus Christ Sess, you scared the hell out of me…” he said sitting next to his brother. “What are you doing here anyways?”
“I'm just crashing… you know, like I used to do before.” Sesshomaru explained before getting up walking to turn on the lights.
“I know this might be like the millionth time I say this to you but… don't you have your own apartment?” Sesshomaru sighed and sat next to him.
“There's something I need to tell you, about my apartment and the restaurant.” Inuyasha arched his brow and shook his head.
“Don't worry, I know everything about it.” It was Sesshomaru's turn to arch his brow.
“So you know that I haven't paid for my apartment's rent in order to pay for the restaurant?” Inuyasha looked at him confused.
“What?” he inquired, Sesshomaru nodded.
“That's why I'm staying at your apartment… I was broke and we didn't have enough money to pay for the restaurant so I just asked for the landlord to extend my paycheck for a few weeks and before I knew it I have forgotten about it and I lost my apartment.” Inuyasha stared at him furiously, Sesshomaru touched his shoulder lightly.
“Are you okay?” Sesshomaru asked and Inuyasha violently got up.
“She fucked us up!” He suddenly yelled. “Kagura lied to me and I made my girlfriend give her disgusting restaurant a positive review!”
“What are you talking about?” Inuyasha clenched his fists in anger.
“I knew that you were having monetary problems because Kagura told me that you weren't paying taxes or the rent for the restaurant… and she said that if I made Kikyo say that her restaurant was fabulous, she would pay for everything. I was such an idiot!” Inuyasha yelled devastated.
“It's not your fault you idiot,” Inuyasha looked at him annoyed and rolled his eyes, Sesshomaru sighed. “It was mine; I should have told you about it, that way Kagura wouldn't have taken advantage of us.”
“That's not important now Sess, our restaurant is going down… and I don't think about sinking with the ship if you know what I mean.” Sesshomaru nodded thoughtfully.
“We could do one thing to get us out of this problem…” His older brother suggested, Inuyasha looked at him with hope.
“What? What is it?” Sesshomaru sighed and scratched the back of his head; he looked down at the floor.
“We have to sell our restaurant to Kagura.”
