"You didn't answer my question" Sango said as she and Jinx walked into the gym.
"What question?" asked Jinx
"You were saying something about some guy being a distraction. Who is he?" Sango questioned
"Oh just some jerk I met in the hallway this morning."
"After the thing with Inuyasha"
"Yeah can you believe it twice in one day and if that isn't enough this jerk turns out not only to be one of the most gorgeous guys I've met in a while but he also turns out to be Inuyasha's brother." Jinx said with a shake of her head. "Can you believe it, of all the luck or lack of it. I told you I was a jinx.
"Wait a minute, hold on for a second, are you telling me you met Sessoumaru Kauzon?"
"Met? Met isn't quite the word to describe it. The word I'd use is he was being an arrogant asshole and I told him so. Well that's more like 11 words but you get my point."

"Mirouku Tsunashi" Mirouku interrupted, " And I must say after watching your great beauty and strength this morning I was awed and have decided to bestow upon you the great honor of bearing my child." As Mirouku was making this speech Jinx caught Sango's eye over the top of his head and winked at her.

"I said sure. I mean why not I've got 5 minutes to kill."

"So Inuyasha I ran into your brother this morning." Jinx said turning to Inuyasha and completely ignoring Mirouku who had gone into a state of...well let's just say he was still going uh, uh, uh.
"What!" exclaimed Inuyasha
"Yeah is being a cocky asshole a family trait?"
"Why you.." Suddenly the gym teacher came and started class.
"Alright students today you get lucky. Today is free period you get to have today my darlings, well at least some of you do. The fencing team and the soccer team will be using the gym to practice."
"Gym," said Jinx under her breath, "don't you mean olympic stadium."
"Alright people let's move it!" the gym teacher called out
"I guess that means you two." Said Sango
"You two are on the fencing team?" asked Jinx
"Soccer team" answered Inuyasha, "Me and Mirouku are the two best players on the team."
"Yeah right after me."
"What do you want asshole." Asked Inuyasha
"Relax dog-turd I didn't come over here for you I came for your little girlfriend."
"One," said Jinx, "no way in hell am I his girlfriend, two I don't know you so why would you be looking for me?"
" What the hell do you mean you don't know me," Kouga yelled, "I'm the guy you almost ran into this morning. You stole my fucking parking space!"
"First of all don't raise your voice at me and no I don't remember you. Nor do I want to, and I have no doubt that Inuyasha could kick your ass from here into next week."
"Inuyasha, Mirouku, Kouga!", Yelled the gym teacher, "If you ladies are done gossiping maybe you could grace of with your presence!"
"I'm not through with you yet." Kouga growled.
"Ooohhh I'm shaking" Jinx said as she laughed in his face.

As Sessoumaru saw the human girl laugh in the wolf demons face he shook his head. That girl was either very brave or very stupid to take on a full youkai. As he got up to take his place on the floor to fence he once again was pissed at himself for watching her as long as he had. 'Time to work off some of this frustration' he thought as he soluted his opponent and quickly took him out. He continued to take down his opponents with skill and finesse until he took out all of the team. Then coach called for anyone who wanted to try Sessoumaru then took out all of them as well. The coach then called for a break. As Sessoumaru went to get a drink he walked back over to the coach and asked, " Is there no one else. C'mon sensei this is a waste of time there is no one who can beat me and obviously no one wants to try." He commented in a bored voice. As the coach was about to say something a voice that Sessoumaru was readily becoming used to spoke up.
"I'd like to try," The human girl spoke up, "if that's alright with you coach."

After the guys walked away Jinx leaned back and started to gossip with Sango and as they were laughing about different ways to castrate Kouga the fencing team started to practice, that is if the definition of practice is to let one guy totally destroy the others.
"That guy is really good." Said Sango
"Yeah he is but look at the way he handles himself." Jinx answered as the guy took down another opponent.
"What do you mean?" Asked Sango
"Well look at him. Although he has great technique and execution he takes down the person he's fighting with cold, ruthless precision. Almost as if he's detached he has no emotion in him at all. Not to mention he's way to cocky and sure of himself. The guy knows he good, and that's okay, but he thinks he so good that no one can beat him."
"If you ask me he's right." Sango said as he took down some down else. "I wonder who he is though."
"So do I... oh my God!" Jinx exclaimed.
"What?" asked Sango
"It's Sessoumaru."
"Where?"
"There, he's the guy."
"Well I didn't see that one coming" Said Sango
"Is there no one else?" They both heard him ask, "C'mon sensei this is a waste of time there is no one who can beat me and obviously no one to try."
"That smug son of a bitch." Jinx said to Sango. "Thinks no one can beat him huh?"
"Jinx what are you doing?" Sango hissed at her friend.
"I'd like to try" Jinx spoke up as Sessoumaru looked up to see who would challenge him. "If that's alright with you coach."
"That's just fine with me miss... "
"Williams" Said Jinx still looking at Sessoumaru.
"Alright go suit up Williams." After Jinx was ready she took her place on the mat ignoring all the whispers that they can't belive a girl is going to fight Sessoumaru.
"Do you really want to do this you can still back out" Sessoumaru told her.
"Funny I was going to ask you the same thing" Jinx shot back.
"I won't slow down for you"
"I'll do my best to keep up" Jinx said with as small smile.
"Lances up" called the coach, "salute, en garde!"
The two duelists circled each other waiting for the other to make the first move. Jinx feigned an attack as she taunted him by touching first one side if his sword then the other. Sessoumaru lunged in to attack and Jinx easily parried and went for the attack herself. As they went back and forth with neither giving any ground until Jinx left her right side open and Sessoumaru took the first point. They went back to their starting positions and this time Jinx attacked first and then dodging every attack Sessoumaru made taking him on strike for strike blow for blow and then Sessoumaru realized what was going on she had let him score that point on her just so she could see how he fought one on one. He was so stunned by this thought that he missed an attack by Jinx as she caught him in the stomach. As she turned to go back to starting position Sessoumaru grabbed her from behind and whispered,
"I know that you know I know."
"Then let's get with it shall we? Next point wins."
She will not win this fight Sessoumaru said to himself. The coach called en garde and the final point match began. As the match began neither one of them could gain any ground on the other until Sessoumaru used his sword to strike her hand and knock her saber away but before he could go in for the kill Jinx did 2 back handsprings picked up her sword and saw her opening as she and Sessoumaru both attacked at the same time. With Sessoumaru's saber at Jinx's heart and Jinx's saber at Sessoumaru's throat.
"It's a draw." Proclaimed the coach.
"Did you see that!" People started yelling.
"She almost beat him!"
"She took him on and almost won!"
"Hit for hit she took Sessoumaru on and gave as good as she got."
"No one has ever beaten him before and Sessoumaru's matches have never ended in a draw."
The two fighters ignored everyone as they continued to stand as they were when the match ended. With Sessoumaru's saber at Jinx's heart and Jinx still had her saber at Sessoumaru's throat. Neither one moving an inch.
"You almost beat me" Sessoumaru said quietly.
"But I didn't." Jinx answered just as quietly
"Where did you learn to fight like that?" He asked taking off his mask.
"The Royal Fencing Academy of Paris." Jinx answered taking of her own mask.
"The Royal Fencing Academy?" He asked disbelivingly.
"Of Paris" Jinx answered with a grin. "I hope I kept up ok."
"Who are you?" Sessoumaru asked
"I'm Jinx" She answered
"That was amazing!" Sango said running up to Jinx on the mat. "You met him hit for hit!" Sango then punched her in the arm.
"Ow! What was that for?" Jinx said rubbing her arm.
"Don't do something that stupid again I thought he was going to kill you."
"Yes mom." Jinx said rolling her eyes. The bell rang signaling the end of class.
"Is gym always this exciting?" Jinx asked
"No. But I have a feeling it will be from now on thanks to you." Sango said with a smile.

As Sango and Jinx sat down to eat lunch everyone kept talking about the duel and kept coming to congratgulate Jinx on her draw with Sessoumaru.
"What's the big deal?" Jinx asked "You'd think the guy was undefeated or something."
"He was," Said Inuyasha as he placed a soda in front of Jinx, "until you kicked his ass today."
"What's this" Asked Jinx pointing to the soda as Inuyasha and Mirouku sat down.
"It's a truce from me to you." Inuyasha told her, "I figure any one who can take me and Sessoumaru on in the same day has my respect. So what do you say truce?"
"Truce" Jinx said looking over Inuyasha's shoulder and waving at nothing. As Inuyasha turned to see who she was waving at Jinx quickly switched soda's with him.
"C'mon drink up." Said Inuyasha turning back around and opening his own soda and almost got sprayed in the process.
"Ha! Truce my ass. I knew you shook up my soda!"
"Wench." Inuyasha said under his breath.
"Dog-breath." Jinx shot back.
"You know Sango," Mirouku told her as Inuyasha and Jinx continued to trade shots at one another, "this looks like the begining of a beautiful and weird relationship."
"Oh yeah" Sango said agreeing with MIrouku.
"Now if we can just work on our relationship." Mirouku said copping a feel.
"HENTAI!" Sango yelled knocking him flat.
That's it wench! Inuyasha yelled "Give me back that soda I bought you!
"No! It's my soda! Mine, mine, MINE!

That girl is no ordinary human. Sessoumaru thought to himself as he watched Jinx fool around with his half brother and his friends. And I will find out what she is.
"What question?" asked Jinx
