InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ I'm On The Outside ❯ Authors Note ( Chapter 22 )

I want to thank all of you who read my story and took the time to give me a review. Even the simplest one was a great help to me and helped me when I began to think I couldn't carry this story through to the end. It saddens me to bring “I'm On the Outside” to an end, but at the same time I can't wait for you all to have the chance to read the sequel “I'm Looking In”.

 

As for my other stories, please know that I'm not abandoning any of them. I'm currently going through them and looking to see if I want to take them each in a slightly different direction then I originally planned when I wrote them. While my sequel will probably be my main focus, I will be updating my other stories from time to time…either when inspiration hits, or I become stuck with writers block.

 

For “I'm Looking In” I am going to try going without a beta, I just want to see if all the betaing I've been doing lately will come in handy for my own stories. If I change my mind at all, I will post an Author's Note and give someone the chance to Beta for me if they wish. So keep your eyes open for that.

Excerpt from a future chapter of “I'm Looking In”:

 

Kagome leaned against the doorframe of Sesshomaru's office. “And why do you look so smug?”

 

“Because my idiot brother just realized that his mate is living here.” Sesshomaru told her, a cocky smirk gracing his features.

 

Kagome visibly flinched at the word “mate”. Sesshomaru studied her as the color drained from her face. He watched her hand raise and she touched her mate mark. Ever since she had returned home it had tingled non-stop.

 

“Kagome,” Sesshomaru's voice broke through her thoughts. “I want you to tell me exactly what's going on.”
