Rin ran to the closest clothes shop and pressed her face against the shops window, her face lit up and beaming “Kag hurry up I want to check out this shop first” Rin and Kagome had decided to go shopping over the week end to get new outfits, getting up at 6.00am in the morning both girls had gotten ready and walked into town from the shrine “Rin it's 7.30am let's go to the café and wait till 8.00 to go shopping it's way to early” Kagome smiled as her best friend frowned “fine but that means we need a double mocha latté each we are so hitting the town today” Kagome giggled “yeah thank god you slept over my place walking from yours would have killed us literally” Rin pulled a face at Kagome “shut up Kag” the two girls skipped to a small corner café and sat down to wait to be served.

 

Sitting in silence Rin broke it “they cant find him” Kagome looked up to see Rin staring into her latte, Kagome put her hand on Rin's “he's alive Rin, I bet he's just hiding out till it's safe” Rin looked up at Kagome miserably “you know better then me that Sesshy would never hide” Kagome sighed “look aren't we meant to have a good day today, How about we have fun now and you can sleep over again tonight and we can binge out on chocolate fudge ice cream and choc chip with cream and we talk about it then?” Rin smiled and nodded “your right tonight” Kagome smiled “So what shop first?” Rin giggled “that one let's go girl” both girls stood up and raced across the street.

 

 

 

 

 

Sango rolled over in her bed and grumbled both Kagome and Rin hadn't shut up all night till 3.00am in the morning, “stupid baka's and their gossip, buttoned shirts a so last season” Sango mimicked mockingly shoving her head under her pillow she heard someone knock at her door “Sango you awake darling” rolling over so she was facing the door her father cracked the door open and pocked his head in “morning beautiful” he smiled and walked over to her bed , kissing her on her forehead “your sister and Rin took off at 7.00 this morning to go to the mall” Sango grinned up at him “Morning daddy” Sango's father sat down on Kagome's bed and looked across to Sango “You two are the only good things I did with my life, you know that” Sango laughed at her fathers serious face “yeah dad you tell me that all the time” Akira sighed “I'm proud of you two, Kagome's gunna go off to College and maybe University and you my beauty are gunna stay home and never leave, it's either Kagome or you so you two pick” Sango giggled at her father “yeah dad like that's gunna happen, Kagome might go to Uni but I bet she'll only move as far as down the street from you” Akira laughed “yeah don't think she'll go even that far from us actually” Sango grinned “so San did you and your sister make up or do I have to endure another 2 weeks of watching you two ignoring each other again”

 

Sango stared apologetically at her father “Sorry, we're cool now I finally accepted that Kagome has other sister's and that she has another life that I'm not apart of” Akira seemed to understand exactly what Sango was feeling “yeah I feel exactly the same way, when her father comes waltzing in here taking her when it suits him and them dumping her back here when he wants” Sango sighed “she's naive dad she believes everything and everyone, I guess she thinks he loves her” Akira sighed “no San he does love her I think more then he shows, I think Yasuo loves her a lot but he gave her up the day she was born, in truth that kid is mine” Sango smiled at her dad with envy “yeah she's ours no one else's” Akira stood up and smiled “and your mine to, which reminds me your grounded young lady” Sango stopped smiling “What why?” Akira smiled “does having a boyfriend at your age register to you?” Sango scrunched her face up “did Kagome fib on me, that little brat wait till I get my hands on her” Akira chuckled “this time it wasn't your sister honey, the old Hag down the road told me you were sucking faces with a boy” Sango grew red and buried her face in her pillow “one week, that includes no one over as well” Sango huffed “what ever old man” Akira let out a loud laugh “hey I'm at least twice your age and a bit more that still makes me quite young actually” Sango rolled her eyes “your still old” Akira couldn't stop laughing “youngsters these days”

 

Watching her father leave her room Sango couldn't stop but notice her father's appearance; he was 35 years old, short brown hair, brown eyes handsome face and his build was very stocky because of constant gym work outs. Sango knew that was his only way of getting away, if the girls weren't at the shrine their father wouldn't stay home; he was usually out at work as a nightclub manager or at the gym, he avoided his problems rather then try and fix them, the only plus side of this arrangement was when her or Kagome would get in trouble with their mother they would always run to Akira and he would give in immediately to the girls. Smiling Sango sunk back into her bed she was happy and in much need of sleep.

 

 

 

 

Inuyasha grumbled under his breath “Miroku hurry up goddamnit your gunna get us killed you half witted freak” pulling out his handgun a GLOCK 22 .40 S&W Semi automatic from under his jacket Inuyasha leaned up against the wall of the building and waited “stupid arseholes, now what?” Miroku flew around the corner and slammed his body against the wall “man there's at least 20 of the buggers shooting, police are surrounding the place and all you have is a goddamn Glock 22. We're screwed you do realize that the Higashi gang want our heads” Inuyasha grabbed the front of Miroku's shirt and slammed him into the wall again “shut the fuck up, if we lay low long enough the police can ship the bastards out instead of us risking our goddamn lives” Miroku laughed nervously “did I mention Satsuki and Kanna are right in the middle of the shoot out just behind the turned over truck?” Inuyasha's eyes widened “WHAT!” crouching low Inuyasha peered across the street to see Satsuki shielding her head with her arms, bullets whizzing past her while an angry Kanna was shooting back with a Taurus 24/7 pistol “Where the hell did she get the gun!” Inuyasha asked confusingly; while Miroku covered his head on instinct “she stole it from the cop on the ground man” Inuyasha shook his head smirking “we have to get them out that gun doesn't have enough rounds, and where the fuck is Sango?” Miroku coward further into the alley way they were hiding in “grounded dad found out about me” suddenly there was a high pitched scream coming from across the street Inuyasha glanced over and slammed his fist against the wall “Damn”

 

 

 

 

Kagome grumbled under the large amounts of shopping bags “Rin how you can afford all these clothes”shifting under the weight of her own bags Rin chirped“Sesshy- Sama left me a credit card and Inuyasha gave me extra money, and some other guys gave me spending money” Kagome nodded slowly “so can we put these somewhere cause I don't know about you but I'm about to die under these bags Rin” Rin looked disappointedly at Kagome “fine we'll go back to yours split our loot then go to the supermarket and grab our junk food for the night” Kagome's face was washed with a sign of relief “thanks Rin” Rin smiled at Kagome “no prob we've been shopping for four hours I think it's time to finish up, plus then I can save the rest of my money for our next shopping spree” Kagome giggled “yeah sounds good to me, I think we should call a taxi though” Rin wolf whistled out “got one lets go”

 

 

 

 

Sango couldn't sleep her heart was racing, turning on her TV, she sat in her room and surfed through the channels, children's programs and soapies were on but she couldn't find what she was looking for “oh god Miroku please be ok” rushing around her room Sango had to find away to contact him, dialling his phone number again she waited for it to be picked up `YO this is Miroku if your listening to this it's probably coz you're a guy and if you're the beautiful women I meet the other day could you graciously call back later' Sango ended the call and ran her fingers through her hair “oh god, please be ok” looking at the alarm clock Sango saw that it was 12.00pm “Kagome and Rin should be here soon, thank god Rin needs to know what's going on” Sango raced towards her wardrobe and grabbed the closest thing to wear.

 

 

 

 

When Kagome got home she saw Akira sitting in the living room “hey Daifu” Akira looked up at Kagome and Rin “hey girls, looks like you massacred the shopping malls again” Kagome dropped her shopping bags and bent over the back of the couch so her left cheek was against Akira's right “yep we killed it out there, got some of the best bargains today as well, must have known us vultures were coming” Akira smiled while watching the TV screen “I'm guessing all clothes then” Kagome giggled “almost me and Rin thought a pimp hat would suit you so we got you one” Akira laughed “nice just what I was looking for” Kagome kissed his cheek and handed him a black broad brimmed pimp hat “well got to get the best dad in the world a pressy right?” Akira shook his head “you two are gunna need rich husbands with your shopping fetish” Kagome giggled “well all we need to do now is buy-” Akira finished her sentence “I brought you choc fudge and choc chip with cream, there in the freezer and chips and soda in the cupboards” Kagome and Rin squealed “we love you” Rin and Kagome grabbed him up into a hug before running up the stairs to dump their stuff.

 

 

 

 

“FUCK someone help me goddamnit” Inuyasha hid behind a car when a bullet hit the car window shattering it all over him, looking back to Kanna and Satsuki he saw Kanna holding onto her arm “Hey Kanna can you hold out?” Kanna's head snapped up and she shook her head “Kanna's been hit real bad Yash” Satsuki placed herself in front of Kanna for protection and screamed over the gun fires “Hold on you two” Inuyasha manuvered himself around objects to try and get to the two. Closing in on them Inuyasha was only an alley way away from them “do you think you two can run?” Inuyasha waited for a reply, Satsuki shook her head “Kanna got hit real bad I don't think she should move Yash” Inuyasha cursed under his breath “well your gunna have to, start running and I'll shoot them” Satsuki shook her head “I cant carry her Yash” Inuyasha glared at Satsuki “GIRL SUCK IT IN AND BLOODY RUN DO YOU WANT KANNA TO DIE!” Satsuki shook her head “then get on with it” Satsuki draped Kanna's arm over her small shoulder and waited for Inuyasha to give her the signal “GO” Satsuki shuffled forward as fast as she could hefting Kanna's body with her a bullet was shot and Satsuki knew it went straight into Kanna's Back “you'll be alright Kanna I promise” she got just in front of Inuyasha when it hit Satsuki's eyes widened she was only a foot away from safety pushing Kanna toward Inuyasha Satsuki turned around, Ripping the gun from Inuyasha's hand…

 

 

Kagome swung open her bedroom door to find Sango curled up at the bottom of her bed crying, automatically she dropped her things and went over to her sister “Sango what's wrong? What happened?” Sango looked at her sister before launching into her arms “Miroku wont pick up his Phone” Sobbing uncontrollably Sango lifted her face from Kagome's shoulder “there's a shoot out down town against Higashi and Nishi gang, I called Miroku to tell him I was grounded when I heard gun shots and Inuyasha yelling, Then Miroku hung up! I tried calling him but he wont pick up” Kagome was shocked “have you checked the news you might find out if he's alright” Sango shook her head “no I tried all the channels are occupied with lousy kids shows” she turned her head towards Rin “Higashi managed to get through to the west side of town Rin, and worst of all they know about the warehouse which means someone we're close to snitched on us” Rin dropped her bags her face pale “if they get a hold of what's in our warehouses we're screwed, not only that but now every single one of us are in the wrong till Inuyasha clears us” Rin nodded “what if he says one of us did it?” Sango shook her head “hope that god blesses their soul because betraying a Takahashi is the worst suicide attempt ever” Rin cringed “we should go down there I stashed weaponry in one of the alleyways down near Wall street the shoot out must only be a block away from there” Kagome snapped her head around so she was facing Rin “NO WAY IN HELL ARE YOU TWO LEAVING THIS HOUSE!” She had by now stood up and was angry “Inuyasha and Miroku brought it on themselves to run around in open fire, but if either one of you steps outside the vicinity of this shrine I will personally snipper you both” Rin turned red “well what are me and Sango gunna do? The only people I have left is Yash and the gang, I can't just leave him hanging” Kagome shook her head “No I'm not having you two go just so I can attend two fucking funerals” Sango looked up at her sister “Rin Kag's right we stay here” Rin whirled around to face Sango “What! San my only family is stuck in the middle of a gang shoot out, Sesshy's gone and if Yash leaves what the hell am I meant to do” her face was covered in tears “I don't think I could handle another loss especially not him”

 

 

 

The bullet hit straight into her chest like a scorching barb, twisting around Satsuki pushed Kanna into Inuyasha ripping the gun from Inuyasha's hand taking a glance at the two she saw them safely covered by the alley walls, Satsuki gripped the gun with her small hands the heaviness of it not registering in her head, eyeing a rival Satsuki pulled the trigger the bullet missed him, taking another shot this time hitting him in the arm, Satsuki held back tears as she tried again this time successfully hitting him in the chest, looking around she watched as Miroku was shooting unclear shots towards the Higashi gang that were aiming at her, for her last shot Satsuki pulled the trigger, the rival turned his head to get a shot at her but it was to late, Satsuki had hit him straight through the eye, saying a small prayer of thanks Satsuki collapsed to the ground.

 

Inuyasha felt his gun being ripped from his hand and a heavy body being shoved into him, watching as he fell Satsuki had began to shoot, tears streaming down her face her scent sent off a mixture of grievance, hate, hurt, pride and courage. Watching her shoot the rival gang Inuyasha knew she had earned her right to be in his gang.

Just as pulled Kanna off of him Satsuki hit the ground.

 

 

 

 

Kagome stared at Sango and then back at Rin, all three girls were worried sick, by that time news had come on and were showing birds eyes view of the shoot out, none of the girls could get a good look at any of the gangs or civilians so they just sat and watched “7 victims have now been claimed by the shoot out with an addition of 5 police officers, police have tried to take control of the situation but have been unsuccessful so far, reports say that the Higashi gang are supplied with illegal weaponry that should last them up to 4 days, and continues to get worst...” Kagome let out a sigh of frustration “Sango get the medical kit I cant sit here and do nothing” Sango's eyes started to water before she rushed off to go get the kit “Rin your good at nicking stuff can you see if Dad has any pure vodka in the cupboards down stairs and get Mamma's sewing kit and I'll get the surgical kit from Grandpa's room”

Kagome sighed “damn you, you stupid hanyou, don't you goddamn die” rushing off Kagome went to search her Grand fathers room for his old surgical kit.
