Japan 5:30 p.m.

 

That evening you can see a man with long dark hair sitting at his desk, staring into space. He had a look of pure anticipation on him, like he was ready to rule the world. The phone interrupted his daydream of world conquest. After the third ring, he answered using his speakerphone.

 

“Hello?” He started noticing the phone number coming up was private.

 

“I have the girl Naraku. What do you want me to do with her?” Said the voice on the other end.

 

“I want her alive, Toya I want you to bring her back to Japan. Then I want you to take care of Miroku Houshi. I'll take care of the rest.” Naraku said.

 

“The men you sent were fools. They entered the village, shot all the villagers and took her.” Toya stated showing that he was quite angry at the plan.

 

“So what, I told them to cause a diversion. They did what they were told. I realize that they were your people, but that is the price they have to pay. The deaths of some savages really don't make a difference.” Naraku said.

 

“You don't get it Naraku, your men can't kill any of them. The tribesmen are very powerful, they could shoot as many times they want, but if any one of them is alive, they could heal the others. It was the two that started attack that ended up dead.” Toya said.

 

Naraku sat up quickly and asked;” What do you mean they were killed? Are you telling me that some primitive villagers killed Bankostu and Ryukostu? They're professionals.”

 

“That is what I was trying to tell you. From the beginning the forest accepted Kagome as their sister. So when the men came into the village, the village seer wailed to the forest, and he summoned the guardian, and she came. Kanna killed them, she then went to find the other seven and she's going to do the same to them.”

 

“Well at least I don't have to pay them now, just take the girl where I instructed you. And start making plans on handling Houshi, when you get to the plan, there will be a file on him” Naraku said.

 

“I don't think that it's a good idea for me to do any of that. The village already found out I betrayed them, I can't…..” Toya started.

 

“Look Toya it's too late not to start having guilt. You never like the fact that Inuyasha person controlled the west right? So by taking his mate away, you will be weakening his soul, and he could make an easy kill. Besides if you do not do what I asked you, I will not give you the antidote for Charlie.” Naraku said.

 

“What are you talking about? “Toya growled

 

“Well I wasn't sure if I could trust you 100% so I decided to have her poisoned. You see when she was with the rebels they didn't manhandle her at all, but the did poison her in her sleep. The poison is in remission, but at the end of three months, she will suffer a horrible, painful death.” Naraku said

 

“You bastard.”

 

“What, Toya that was a special little present for you. It's just a friendly reminder to never fuck with me. Now you have a job to do, I suggest you do it.” With that Naraku hung up the phone.

 

From the other side of the door, Sango stood smiling to herself hearing everything. `My god, what a manipulating jerk. It's a shame that I have all his phone calls taped' She thought as she slowly backed away from the door knowing that she was slowly getting the upper hand. She pause at the base of the steps, for she heard him talking to himself.

 

“Damn, all this planning is making me horny, where is my sweet Sango.” She heard him say as she changed directions, and rushed to the garage. She jumped in her car and quickly started it.

 

`I refuse to let that vile thing touch me.' She swore as she drove off with no direction in particular.

 

`I need to act on my plan sooner than I thought.' She thought to herself as she continued driving. `Tomorrow, I'll start it tomorrow.' She thought as tears started shimmering down her face.

 

“Kagome, please be safe.”
