“Cornelia, I will not need your services or any of the maids today. Mr. Arachna and I are spending the day together.” Sango said to her cook and maids in the kitchen.

 

When Naraku left the bedroom to get ready for work, Sango hurried downstairs to the staff. Her goal was to get them to leave before he did. It would be the only way for her plan to work. `I do not need any witnesses.' She thought to herself.

 

“Don't worry of pay, you will be paid a full day.” Sango said to her staff making a show of wringing her hands and smiling, but her eyes weren't meeting the smile.

 

Cornelia, her cook for years eyed her mistress in concern. She noticed that Mrs. Arachna looked seriously stressed today. What made things worse was that she had a bruise on her cheek. Liking her boss, she was naturally protective of her, yet she knew she'd overstep her boundaries if she asked. `That husband of hers must of done this to her.' She thought.

 

Cornelia looked at her closely and then put her coat back on. When the other staff left, she waited long enough to say. “If you need my assistance mum, this is my cell number.” She said as she gave the younger woman the look. Sango nodded and took the number, and let her cook go.

 

`Perfect.' Sango thought as she opened on of her kitchen drawers and picked up a butcher knife. Grinning to herself, she walked up the stairs and took the make-up off of her cheek.

 

As she passed the bathroom, she heard her husband just getting out of the shower. She knocked on the door. “Do you want anything for breakfast baby?” She asked full of sweetness.

 

The door opened and an arm swept out. Surprising her, Sango dropped the knife, and held on to the man she questioned. After thoroughly kissing her, he looked down at the knife.

 

“Baby, what's this?” he questioned as he bent down and picked it up. “Are you trying to kill me in the shower?” he joked playing with the knife.

 

“No, I wanted to use that to get my one of the bedroom windows open.” Sango replied giggling as he playfully tickled her ribs and nipping her neck. When they opened the bedroom door, Naraku put the knife on the dresser and looked for the window that was stuck. Sango pointed at the one in question and he started to work on it.

 

“You don't need a knife for this, all that would do is scratch the paint.” He said grunting. After about the tenth attempt to open it, the window finally gave in and opened.

 

Sango smiled at him and gave him a hug and a kiss of appreciation. “Thanks baby.” She said as they walked down to the kitchen, leaving the knife on the dresser.

The rainforest

 

Kagome was running for all that its worth, for she heard a yelp of pain. She knew that it was a matter of time before the Beast Dogs would be outmaneuvered.

 

`Inuyasha' she thought as she was blindly running through the forest. She frowned at the thought. She knew that she took his protective attitude for granted. He took care of her, Nurtured her back to health more then once, brought her to his home, wants her to stay with him, even brought her to the village he protected.

 

`No more fantasies of him walking around naked.' She thought mournfully. `Just great Kagome, I just had to play hard to get, and now I'm going to die a virgin.' She thought as she continued running.

 

`Too late to think like that Kagome. I have to stay alive.' She thought as she came up to a steep hill. She huffed and started climbing up the hill using its various vines and roots to give her stability.

 

While half-way up, she felt a tight grip on her left ankle, and she was suddenly pulled down.

 

“Listen to me, you have to die. Don't you understand” Came the roar of Toya. He had several wounds on his body and he was out of breath. What scared Kagome were his eyes. They were changing from his normal red to green.

 

Using one of his claws he cut her one arm, and allowed the blood to flow. Lowering his head he licked the wound. Within second, his wounds dissipated and his energy was restored.

 

“I knew it!” he said as he picked her up and jumped into the trees. She didn't know where they were going, but soon gasped as he landed onto a clearing. There lying on the ground were the two companions of Inuyasha covered in a pool of blood. `He killed them.' She thought. She looked at Toya and he jumped back up into the trees with her. Not before flinging some drops of her blood on the two beasts.

 

“They foolishly died for you. I can't have brother all by himself now could I?” He said to her as he took her off into the woods.

 

“Please let me go.” She said as she tried to struggle out of his grasp. She knew it was futile with his strength, but she had to figure out away to get loose.

 

After traveling a short distance, he put her down and continued dragging her by the arm. He knew he was hurting her, but she wouldn't shut up. What pissed him off was instead of fear radiating off of her, it was irritation. `Doesn't this bitch know she's going to die.' He thought not for the 1st time.

 

“Brother, let her go.” Came the voice from behind. The two turned around to see Kanna frowning at them. Her eyes were black, and her aura seemed to be calm.

 

`What is she better now?' Kagome thought to no one in particular

 

“Little one, you don't know what your talking about. Leave us and let me take care of her.” Toya said to her.

 

Kanna eyed him sadly and said to him. “You have been infected too, brother. Think clearly, why do you want her dead?”

 

While the two were talking about her; Kagome managed to get out of Toya's reach. `I thought she wanted me dead too!' she slowly backed away from the two. When she was five paces away, Kagome started running.

 

Toya realized his blunder turned to run after the girl, when he felt a sharp pain in his chest. His eyes widened in horror for he knew the cause of the pain. Kanna is stopping him from his pursuit.

 

“You can't have her you know. She's mine! You can't have her, and brother can't have her.” she said as she walked closer to him.

 

“Sister, what are you?? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” he bellowed when he felt her stab him through. With her own hand. He fell instantly, thinking of one thing. The fact he betrayed them all.

 

Kanna with glowing green eyes smiled as she licked his blood off. “Well then, where did she go?” she thought as she walked off looking for her victim.
