The suns raises streched out across the land scape creating a wonderful morning, but to Kagome she tried to turn out the bright light not ready to get up. 'Why does the sun have to be so bright?' she asked her self getting up knowing it would be time to leave soon. Kagome had wanted to get a bath real quick with Rin and maybe teach Rin a little how to swim. Yes, everytime they stopped and there was water there she was going to teach Rin everything she knew about swimming till she got it .

Rin seem to grow on her, they have not really know each other for every long and Rin was quickly becoming a part of her heart. Jaken wasn't all that bad either other than the loud and rude comments he made, but he showed that he had some feelings for the little girl as well. Sesshoumaru though was another matter all togather.

He always stayed away scouting as Kagome could only guess. He would then return later that night, but wouldn't speak a word to anyone. He just seem to advoid her at any cost. No matter as long as he didn't bother her she was fine with it, but part of her wondered why he acted that way. She wanted to know why he hated humans so much. He did seem to take to Rin in a fatherly way she could tell that.

Kagome gathered her bathing stuff still thanking what ever god that she found her bag, it made things a little easier for her. Kagome also wanted to get some food in her considering she hasn't ate in a while. Rin could hear Kagome's stomach making noises and guessed that she was hungery too.

"Is Kagome hungery Rin knows a good place for berries to eat, would Kagome like to come with Rin?" Rin asked looking up at her in the same way she looked at Sesshoumaru. Just the face she made would make anyone melt and give in to her request. Yes she was a wonderful child. Kagome offen thought she reminded her of her youngerself. Kagome said yes but also wanted after they ate there fair share of food to go back to the river and take another bath. She wanted to see the look on Rins face when she started to teach her how to swim.

Kagome took ahold of Rins hand. Togather they headed in to the forest to search for food. Rin had shown Kagome all kinds of yummy stuff she liked to eat and they ate till there stomach would brust. After they ate they went towards the stream they were in last night.

When Kagome got there her breath was stolen from her. Around the stream stood some of the prettiest flowers she ever seen. The sun was just up at the right moment were the dew from last night shown making the flowers glow even more. Rin saw her looking at the flowers and asked her if she liked flowers as much as she did. Kagome agreed that she has always loved flowers.

Not to far down the stream washed up on the shore of the stream laid a woman. The woman looked to be very old. She had a wound that streched out of her brest to her hip. The wound was very deep and she was losing a lot of blood fast. She knew that she didn't have that much time left and had to pass along the gift that was given to her when she was a small child.

Kagome and Rin just started to work on her swimming. When Kagome told her they would do this every morning till she got it, she was very happy wishing to do something in return for her kind deed she decieded to pick more of the flowers she found last night. At first Rin had some trouble getting started but the more Kagome worked with her she seemed to get better. Kagome noticed that the sun was up a lot later now and decided to stop for now and work on it tomorrow.

Rin and Kagome finshed getting out of the water and getting dressed when Rin wanted to get the flowers. "Kagome, Rin wishes to get you something will Kagome wait her for Rin till Rin gets back?" Kagome saw the pleading in her eyes so she said yes but told her to hurry not wishing for Sesshoumaru to get upset for wating on them.

Rin nodded and headed down the stream. She saw this perfect flower that reminded her of Kagome. The outerside of the flowers pedtals were tipped in gold and black colors. The Inside of the flower were the bees ate from was a red color with a touch of purple. Rin went to get it till she seen something laying beside the flower. It looked to be a woman that was wounded really badly.


Not knowing what to do she yelled for Kagome to come and look at the wounded woman. Kagome hearing the yelling came running to her crys. When Kagome saw how bad the woman she was afraid she wouldn't be much of help to her but would do what she could. The woman lying there looked at the smaller child then the older one. "Please leave me but take this and make sure no one else knows of it. The flower if giving to the wrong hands will create much damage." Kagome took the flower from her and as soon as the flower left her hand she died.

Kagome wanted to wept but knew she didn't have time they needed to get back. She noticed the flower that she held made her feel different than before. Not worring about it right now they headed back. Jaken was screaming like a mad man. Kagome could her him saying things to her and Sesshoumaru telling them it was time to head out but she paid no mind to them. What was on her mind was why the woman was wounded so badly and why she gave the flower to her.

Sesshoumaru could tell the humans needed a break. Oh how he hated them for being so weak and hated them more for Inuyashas mother. The one woman who killed there father. He, Sesshoumaru wanted to defeat his father and get the tittle for being the strongest youkai, but Inuyashas mother interfeared with that by having Inuyasha and intering his fathers life. He spotted a good place for the humans to rest and stopped walked over to a tree. He sat down at the base of the tree and seemed to look up in the sky. His thoughts contuined to run.

Rin had pretty much forgot about the woman and wanted tea. She asked if Kagome had any, but Kagome only had the pot to cook it in. So Rin went out to look for some tea leaves. Jaken really hated Inuyasha's wench. He was sure things would be better if she wasn't around she always made his lord act different.

The night before he had gather flowers from the stream the girls were at after they had fallen asleep. He wanted to play a trick on Inuyashas wench and offered to make the tea for them. Well while Rin got the stuff Kagome got the pot out. Jaken took the pot from her and said he would get water.

Jaken went and got water he came back with the pot full. Rin had returned with the leaves and handed them to Jaken. Jaken then said he knew a good flavor for the tea then pulled out a flower that looked close to what Kagome had. The difference was that there was no purple in this flower.

Kagome didn't notice that the flower fell out from her bag she placed it in earlier that day. Rin seeing the other flower gave it to Jaken and he used the flower Rin gave him. He didn't notice the change and laughed at himself for his cleverness. He made the tea and handed it to Kagome it was the one that the flower was in. Kagome smelled the tea and thanked him. Kagome thought he was being a little to nice but also thought that maybe he had to since Sesshoumaru was around.

In two gulps she had the tea gone. She hadn't realized how thirsty she was till she drank it all. Jaken had given Rin and him self what was left of the tea. The tea that they were drinking had no flower in it. Rin thanked Jaken as she finshed her tea the same way that Kagome did. Kagome started to clean up and packed everything back in to her bag.

After everything was done Sesshoumaru agin rose and they headed out. Sesshoumaru was begining to wish he brought along his dragon so that the girls could ride on. He had a feeling something bad was going to happen soon. He pushed the group a little harder then they needed. By night fall a huge white castle could be seen in the distance.

Kagome looked up and started in aw. She never dreamed that Sesshoumarus home would be this breath taking. There were tall looking walls that surrounded the castle. Kagome could also tell there was a barrier that went around the castle walls. Sesshoumaru really had to be powerful for him to have a castle like the one she was looking at.

Kagome started to get a dizzy feeling. Black spots were lining her vison everything just started to swim. Kagome felt a mass of heat shot through her body all at once. Rin was wondering why Kagome was being so slow and looked back only to watch as Kagome started to fall. Before she hit the ground Sesshoumaru caught her. He swung her over his sholder that the armor wasn't on. Sesshoumaru thought he smelled something different about her but put it aside for now they needed to get in the castle so he could get her in bed.

Rin asked Jaken what just happened but told her to be quite and just follow Sesshoumaru. Rin did as she was told she just wished that Kagome would be all right. 'It seems that the flower I used is working it will only be a short while now and she will be in a sleep that she will never wake from . Then she will no longer be a problem for my lord.' Jaken had a creppy smile on his face that scared Rin a little.

The gates opened letting in their lord and his group. He dissappeared intering the main room and to the left where the east wing was. This is where all the guest stayed and for now it was RIn and Kagomes wing. Sesshoumaru laid her in her bed and order for the maids to dress for bed. He would check on her in the morning.
