Kagome glared at the fire, wondering what she was going to do. 'How am I going to get out of this. Ever since I ran into Sesshoumaru he made it clear that I am to travel with him. He hasn't said anything more. Sometimes I wish I knew how he thought.' Kagome heard a sound right beside her and looked up. There was the child she saved, Rin, if it hadn't been for Rin's pleads she was sure she wouldn't be around right now.
Rin held in her dirty pam a moon rose. A very rear flower it was suppost to bring good fortune to the one it was given to. Kagome gladly took the flower from the little girl. Kagome knew that her stay wouldn't be that bad concidering Rin was there with her.
Sesshoumaru had entrusted Jaken to watch over the girls while he went to check out the scents he passed earlier. The scent was unlike anything he had ever smelled. They smelled like they were born from the fires of hell, but only in a body. Jaken had no idea why his master wished for another human to travel with them, surely Rin was enough of a bother now. No he had to add another one of the pests and Inuyasha's wench none the less.
Kagome took the flower from Rin giving her thanks she turned her sights on the fire agin. They reminded her of Sesshoumaru's eyes. A light blush started to appear on Kagome's face. Rin noticed this and asked if she was feeling alright. Just when Kagome was about to answer a roar came out of nowhere. Jaken ran over to where the girls where and told them to get ready to depart just in case the youkai decided to attack.
The roar contuined as a gushing wind blew the trees surrounding the campsite down. When the tress came to a crashing stop the site that lay beyond that made everyone gasp. Beyond the fallen trees stood a bear youkai. It rose to the sky reached past the trees it stood by, beside the bear a buring light apeared. It was a fire youkai, the fire youkai was attacking the bear youkai. Soon, the bear left a roar that could be heard a long distance. The flames from the fire youkai were burning the bear youkai, eating through the flesh and bone.
Jaken not wanting to stand around watching the scene anymore, gathered the humans and took them from the campsite. Jaken could only hope that Sesshoumaru would not be mad for leaving, knowing that he was not to leave no matter what happened. As soon as Jaken stepped out of the campsite grounds he got throne into a near by fallen tree. "Jaken haven't i told you not to leave these ground's? Sesshoumaru paid no mind to the bowing servent and walked past him. ' The smell from earlier must have been a set up trying to get me away from the real threat.' Thought Sesshoumaru while looking at the fire youkai.
The fire youkai stood a head taller than Sesshoumaru. It had red beady eyes and the different kinds of flames that surrounded it created a barrier for it. You could see right through the youkai. In the middle the flame started out as blood read color. Then the more it went out the color change becoming orange the the outer side blue. The fire youkai could be condered as a creation. 'No doubt about who created it, but how could he know that I have her under my care unless his insects have been following be staying behind how of my sences.' Sesshoumaru had no more time to ponder seeing as the fire youkai had finshed with the bear youkai and turned it's eyes towards Sesshoumaru.
Sesshoumaru then noticed it spoke in a high pitched voice. "The enchanted miko is what I seek. He calls for her to come and lay aid to the upcoming in our rise to rule." The eye's of the fire youkai seem to go right through Sesshoumaru and towards Kagome looking right into her soul. " Our leader, the bringer of death to all living things, shall be reborn when the purest blood flows no more.
Kagome could feel the chills run down her spine when the fire youkai spoke. Sesshoumaru begining to become impatient took out his sword Toukijin. Giving no time for the other youkai he arched his blade down cutting the youkai in two. Sesshoumaru watched the youkai put its body back togather. It seemed that everytime he tried to slice the youkai he would just repair his body. Sesshoumaru took out his other sword Tenseiga hoping that it would have a different affect then what Toukijin was having. Tenseiga didn't seem to do any different. Putting the sword back he used his poisonious claw. His claw just like the sword went right through his body.
Sesshoumaru was at a loss as what to do. He never met an enemy who had no soild body. Kagome didn't really know what to do, but she had to do something. Picking up a near by stick she used her miko power and through it like a spear. At the last second Sesshoumaru dadged the stick. Unlike before when the stick hit the youkai it turned to ash right in front of his eyes. Kagomes knees buckled and she hit the dirt. Kagome really didn't know how she did what she did it was as it came natural.
Sesshoumaru looked at the fallen girl he knew she had powers, but never knew the extact strenght she held. Walking over to the fallen girl he looked down at her. " If you ever interfear with my battle agin I will not hesitate to kill you." Sesshoumaru walked over to a large rock and looked up at the stars. Kagome let lose the breath that she didn't know she was holding. 'What a jerk I just saved him and he yells at me. Fine see if I ever save him agin.' Kagome felt tired after the battle and wanted to take a bath. She wondered if there was a river or a bathing place near by.
It was as if Rin read her thoughts. "Kagome-nechan there is a river near by with you take a bath with me?" Kagome couldn't say no and nodded. Grabbing the childs hand she let Rin take her to the river. Kagome really wished she had her big yellow bag with her. When they got to the river it was more like a stream. Undressing and putting her cloths aside she stepped into the deep part of the stream. Rin she noticed didn't follow her to the deep part. "Rin do you not like the deep water? " Kagome asked trying to see why she didn't come. Rin looked down as if ashamed of something. "Rin can't swim and stays away from the dark water." Kagome walked out of the deep part over to Rin.
"Rin it is okay to be afriad if you can't swim. You don't have to be ashamed of something like that." Kagome took her hand and help wash the little girl. When Kagome was washing her she noticed all the scares on her body. The she remember something she had asked Inuyasha. "Rin how did you become with Lord Sesshoumaru?"
"Rin use to leave in a small village where everyone hated Rin. Rin even tried to be nice and stay out of everyones way. When Rin was out picking bearies one day she noticed a pretty man lying hurt up agaist a tree. Rin tried to help the pretty man, but he said he didn't need Rins help. Rin still tried to help and went to pick stuff for him to eat. He said he didn't eat the stuff Rin got. So Rin went into the village pond and got a bunch of fish for him to eat, but Rin got caught by the village men and they beat Rin. Rin still managed to get some fish. Bringing back the fish Rin caught she handed the food over to the hurt man. In stead of saying he didn't need it like before he had asked Rin what happened to Rin. Rin didn't talk back then because of what the mean men did to Rins family. So Rin just smelled at the pretty man. That was the last Rin seem of him till Rin got killed." Rin started to have tears come out of her eyes and didn't want to tell what happened after that but contuined.

Then Rin hear these howls and then a bunch of wolfs came into Rins village. Rin tried to out run them but they got to Rin and then all went black till I seen the pretty mans face. He had braught Rin back to life and since then I have been staying with Lord Sesshoumaru." Rin has been happy since then traveling with him and Jaken.
Kagome listened to the childs story and when she was done she was crying. 'How could anyone want to hurt a child as kind as her. Will while im staying with Sesshoumaru I will make sure she has some memories to last her and maybe even teach her how to swim. "Hey Rin how about the next time we go to take a bath I teach you a little how to swim?" Kagome could see the childs eyes light up and she nodded.
Will we better head back before it gets any later. They had just got up near the edge of the stream when Rin spotted something in the water. "Kagome look a big yellow thing is in the water." Kagome looked the way Rin was pointing and saw her yellow bag. She was so happy she went over and got it. Getting a fresh pair of cloths she also gave rin one of her shirts to sleep in. She would wash Rins outfit tomorrow. After getting dressed they headed back to the campsite they left.
When they got there Kagome noticed that Sesshoumaru had just walked in and sat down. ' There is noway he could have been watching us is there? Surly he is not like Miruko' Kagome had a blush on her face and looked away from the eyes of the Taiyoukai. Getting ready for bed she took out her sleeping bag and unruled it. Having Rin climb in beside her she fell asleep wondering if the Taiyoukai could really be a hentai.
