Chapter four: The wrong dog demon.

Kagome looked at the new morning sky. She couldn't believe that it had been one full day that she hadn't seen Inuyasha. That she just miss him. Her mother was the last person to actually see him before he just disappeared. She felt the worst had happen to him. In her dream she saw that he had been capture by Kikyo and Naraku and they had drag and torture him all the way to hell. She woke up many times in a cold sweat, panting and such. She had to find Inuyasha for without him looking for the shards would be harder. Sure, she still had Shippo, Sango, Kirara and Miroku but they really needed Inuyasha too. Even if he was a cold-hearted jerk, but he did keep them all together and safe. Normally he would have been the first one up but today it was Kagome.

Shippo shifted beneath her as if he was starting to wake up. Kagome hoped not. She knew it had to be a hot spring nearby since they had been near this forest before. She quickly and quietly got up from her sleeping bag regrettably almost looking up at a tree ready to tell Inuyasha not to follow her. She knew he wasn't anywhere near so why bother? Well because she had grown to like the dog-boy, very much indeed wishing sometimes that he could be her boyfriend but she didn't have a chance in hell with that dead Miko called Kikyo always around the corner. She found the spring easily enough and quickly stripped and jumped in. Normally she would have Sango or Shippo to talk too but she didn't want to be bother. Everyone was saying that it wasn't her fault that Inuyasha was missing but it still did. If only she hadn't said that long after school or hadn't bump into Hojo she would have caught up with him sooner.

Meanwhile not to far from Kagome, a toad was chasing after a seven-year-old girl with a long ugly looking rod yelling all kinds of insanities at her. This was of course Jaken and Rin. Jaken was of course told to find a place where young Rin could bathe. Sesshomaru had threaten to blast Jaken into the seven gates of hell if he did not. As he went to hunt for food. Jaken hated Rin, as she was the most annoying human he had ever met. He would had rather babysat those humans hanging around Inuyasha than Rin. He thoughts were once again interrupted by another hit on the head with a rock.

Rin: Jaken you must find a bath for Rin or else you going to die.

Jaken: why you worthless…ouch.

Rin: Rin is going to cry if you don't hurry up Jaken!

Jaken: (mutters) maybe if you didn't hit me with rock I would be able to think right.

Rin: Hurry. Rin feels dirty and want to be clean for breakfast! Get to hopping Jaken!

The little toad wanted to burn the girl with the fire rod, but he knew he would have to deal with Lord Sesshomaru later for it and didn't even want to think of what would happen to him. He was not a toad and wonder why everyone kept calling him that and he didn't hop or eat flies. As Rin had once tried to make him eat some much to Lord Sesshomaru amusement. Finally, he find a spot but…

Jaken: (Quietly) Isn't that the human that hangs around Inuyasha? Oh, my I must tell Lord Sesshomaru! (Quieter) hmm human aren't half bad undressed. (A/n: LMAO! Sorry people just had to do it!)

Jaken rushed back to see a crying Rin holding on Lord Sesshomaru leg. Disgusting is all he could think of. More so, when he heard what she was telling Lord Sesshomaru he was going to die today. If he could get any paler, he would have.

Rin: (in between sobbing) and then he left me all alone and I was so scared he never found a bath for Rin! He's a mean little Frogie he always treats Rin badly when your gone! I hope he gets eaten by a bear!

Lord Sesshomaru: For his sake, he better had.

Though it was clear that Jaken was near to Sesshomaru and that water was near by. He was going to kill him for his neglecting the girl and this time he wasn't going to revive him. He let out a low growl not enough to scare Rin but enough for her to tell that he was just as annoyed by Jaken little act.

Rin: Sessh-sama is going to cut Jaken head off again right?

If laughter was an easy quality for Sesshomaru no doubt he would have laugh at that. The human girl was amusing to him from a bush not far off he could see it trembling. Jaken was scared was he? Not as scared as he was going to be.

Sesshomaru: Jaken come out from that bush and face your death.

Jaken could tell by Sesshomaru's cold and emotionless voice that he wasn't playing. Was this the end? After all the years of serving and being by his side. He was going to kill him! And for what a worthless human girl! Oh, this was disgusting and he was going to make sure he was going to hunt the brat for all her worthless human days. Jaken shyly came out of the bush area almost forgetting about Kagome and the hot spring.

Jaken: Milord I….

[Crack]

Rin had thrown another rock right at Jaken face, which had succeed in snapping Jaken's head back. Her eyes still red and puffy from crying as she held tightly on to Sesshomaru's hand though a faint smile no played on her face. Why did everyone cast stones at him it wasn't like he was a witch or nothing.

Sesshomaru: I have grown tired of you lousy excuses Jaken. I told you never to leave her alone. (Pulling out his sword the demon sword he has no not the tenseiga)

Jaken: (in one breath) THATHUMANGIRLTHATHANGSWITHINUYASHAISBATHINGINTHEWATEROVERTHEREPLEASESPEARMY LIFEMILORD! (Gasping for air)

Sesshomaru: What? (In an annoyed voice rubbing his temples)

Rin: Jaken funny. (Laughing) He's changing colors.

Jaken: Inuyasha's group of humans is near Milord. (Still quite blue in the face)

Sesshomaru: Is he near them at all?

This was a nice turn of events for if Jaken hadn't been nearing scared shitless he would have died right then for Lord Sesshomaru had that deadly (A/n: But sexy) look in his eyes. As for Sesshomaru he couldn't figure out why he couldn't smell his worthless brother scent anywhere around. True he could smell that worthless human what was her name Kegome? He didn't make it his business to learn the horrid girl name. Why wasn't that filthy hanyou around? He turned his icy cold stare on Jaken that sent shivers down the toad's spine.

Sesshomaru: If you vale your worthless life at all Jaken you will stay near her side this time.

[Crack]

Rin: Yes stay with Rin this time Jaken.

Jaken: Yes Milord. (Mutters) worthless brat. (Rubbing the back of his head where Rin cast another stone at)

Sesshomaru: What was that?

Jaken: Nothing Milord.

Back to Kagome she had deicide to try to calm her mind of all the trouble thoughts she was getting. Yeah she would have to get back to the group and fast. She didn't want them to worry or worst yet get separated from them as well. It was funny but for a second it seem like she heard something scream.

Kagome: (thinking) Inuyasha where ever you are I hope you safe. I hope you can forgive me. Its all my fault.

Sesshomaru crept up near "Kegome" even bathing she was a filthy human too him though he wasn't looking their wasn't anything to look at. Though you really couldn't even phase him in the same category as Miroku. He had no intentions of that sort. A bathing human girl was just that a bathing human girl. Though he didn't notice it, he accidentally rumbled through a bush or two. Kagome notice something was near anyway and she was being watched. It better not had be Miroku she thought as she swam closer to where her clothes were with a big rock in her hand. Still Sesshomaru couldn't sense his worthless hanyou for a brother anywhere near, which was odd since he was always near the girl. Though he felt now it was time to make his presences know as the girl look as if she was leaving as he began to make more noisier moments towards her.

[Crack]

Kagome threw the rock near Sesshomaru who effortlessly avoided it as it smashed into a big rock. Damn these humans are slow he thought. Kagome cover herself and plunged deeper in the water.

Kagome: Miroku is that you? Well when you gain consciousness let me know.

Sesshomaru: (Thinking) stupid girl doesn't see sense my demon presence?

By now, though Miroku would have being dragged for by Sango. Was it just an animal maybe a monkey like last time? Oh man was it Shippo or Kirara? She just knew that rock hit something hard. Could it be? Had he came back? Though what a time to come back?

Kagome: Inuyasha?

Sesshomaru: don't compare me to that worthless hybrid wench.

Kagome knew by that cold deep voice that she had the wrong dog demon watching her as she slowly moved her eyes to the direction in which she had heard it. Their on the corner of the spring standing on a tree limb stood Inuyasha's older full demon brother, Sesshomaru!
