A/N: I thought I'd add this part as just something to keep the story going. I don't own Inuyasha or Blade.

King looked around the car, to Inuyasha who was looking out the window, thinking. 'That's not good.' King leaned over and tapped the hanyou on the shoulder. Inuyasha turned his head. "I wanna know something."

"What?" Inuyasha asked, somewhat annoyed at King for waking him from his thoughts.

"You let Kagome keep the wolf cub. Why?"

"She wanted the pup so I let her have it." Inuyasha turned back around to look out the window.

"It's not that simple. There's a reason you did what you did."

Inuyasha turned back around to look the man in the eyes. "Yeah." Inuyasha looked out the window again. "I couldn't take another pup away from her."

"Hm..."

"She's already lost one pup. I couldn't do that to her." King saw what looked like a tear fall down the side of Inuyasha's face.

He took this as a cue to shut up and turned back to face forward an look out the front window of the hummer as it turned a corner and slowed to a stop in front of the Nightstalker HQ.

Suddenly the phone rang and everyone turned to look at Inuyasha as he pulled out his phone and flipped it open. "Yeah?"

On the other end there was the small sound of a woman crying and Inuyasha's eyes widened.

"Kagome?! What's wrong?"

A/N: I love my job.
