About Eight and a Half Hours Later...

Kagome woke up slowly to the sound of her lover's heartbeat. She suddenly tensed, trying to remember how she got there. She looked around. She was in her room at Daywalker HQ (A/N: That's what I call it.) She relaxed and slowly moved back into the comfortable position that she was already in. Suddenly her eyes shot open again and she looked down at Inuyasha's sleeping body. 'He' s naked! B-but then that means that he and I really...'

Smelling her fear Inuyasha growled softly in his sleep then quickly woke up, startling the young girl who was now completely his mate. He grabbed her by the arms roughly then examened her body, checking for cuts and bruises.

"What are you doing," she asked her voice scared.

He stopped his search suddenly and pulled her closer to him, whispering into her ear. "What are you afraid of?" he asked worried. "I smell blood...are you hurt?"

"I..."

"Is it me? Is it because you don't want to be with me?" Inuyasha whispered softly, trying to hide his pain.

"No it's just that..." she started, but stopped suddenly when she smelled the heavy smell of saltwater. 'That's wierd. I only smell that when I...' "Inuyasha please stop crying. I love you. I always have. It's not you. It's just that I was scared. I had a mild case of amnesia and forgot what happened last night. I didn't remember how I got here. That's all. Don't worry it's not because of you," she tried to comfort him by holding him close and gently rocking back and forth. "This is all just so strange, ya know."

Inuyasha nodded that he understood and began to calm down, thinking about her words. Then Kagome and Inuyasha heard their phones vibrating from two different parts of the room. Both of them dove for their pants, answering the call.

"Get suited up and bring only your side arms. Your ready to become real hunters."

"Why only our side arms?" Inuyasha asked suspicios.

"I'll tell you when you get down here."

The two hanyous looked at eachother and nodded.

"Fine," they both answered, hanging up.

45 Minutes Later...

Kagome and Inuyasha arrived at the garage and walked over to the table where the old man was standing to find him looking down at a map.

"This is a map of Canada?" Kagome half asked,

"Yup." Whistler pulled out a pen and circled a place on the map.

"Vancouver?"

"Right again. We're relocating you to the Nightstalker HQ."

"Why can't we stay here?"

"Because, you would get in our way. Besides, we don't want the higher ups to know about you guys."

"Why would it be a bad thing if they find out about us now?"

"Blade has accepted an invitation for a team up."

"With who?"

"The vampires."

"That bastard's gone postal!?!?!?!?" Inuyasha flexed his claws.

"Nope."

"Then what happened?" Kagome asked calmly.

"Reapers. A new strain of the vampirism virus. They eat vampires. Ironic, isn't it?" the old man chuckled.

"So then why are you making us leave?" Kagome asked while gently stroking Inuyasha's ears, trying to calm him down.

"If Blade gets killed, you're our best and only hope. We can't go and let you die, now can we?"

Inuyasha growled softly and closed his eyes in pleasure. "You've got talent, Kagome," he whispered loud enough for only Kagome to hear.

"...so we're sending you to the Nightstalker HQ." He handed them a ring of color coded keys. "These are your new keys. Blue to your motorcycles, red to your boat, and green to the trunk inside the boat," he said. "From this point on, you don't go anywhere, don't talk to anyone, and don't eat anything without checking it first."

A/N: OMG.... I SENT KAGOME AND INUYASHA AWAY. Well at least I'm getting to use Hannibal King as a charactor. I'm good a sarcastic remarks. That's why I watch House so much. It helps keep my skillz in working condition on those days when I dicide to shut my self off in a small room away from civilization.
