A/N: This is my third chapter tonight. I think I'm on a role. I don't own Inuyasha or Blade so let's get this party started.
Kagome lept from building to building, carrying Inuyasha, trying to remember the lessons had given her on how to use her hanyou powers.
Start Flashback...
Kagome had only been a Hanyou for about three days when Inuyasha had suggested that she sould begin practicing how to use her powers. She was following him out of Blades headquarters when Inuyasha suddenly turned around and grabbed her by the waist. Before she could say something, he had launched them both almost 10 stories into the air.
"Put...Me...Down!!!" She screamed in mid-flight.
"As you wish," he replied simply as he released her and pushed her gently away from him.
"Inuyasha!!! I was just kidding. Please don't let me fall. I'll do anything..." she scremed as she began to fall through the air and toward the ground.
Inuyasha just chuckled and flew past her, landing lightly on the ground as he got ready to catch her in case something went wrong.
Kagome screamed even louder when she figured out that he wasn't going to catch her. Then suddenly something in the back of her mind snapped. Her body moved on it's own. Every muscle in her body moved at once. She moved into a crouching position, her ears and eyes forward with her claws extended. As Inuyasha had expected she landed safely on the ground, next to him.
She got up slowly. She looked at her hands, then felt her face.
Inuyasha laughed so hard, he almost fell over.
Kagome glared at him. "Sit."
His face hit the ground with a loud crack. As soon as the spell wore off he spoke, standing up. "That hurts a lot more when we're standing on cement, you know."
End Flashback...
Kagome smirked when she realized that she was the one carrying him this time.
Ten minutes and Twenty Miles Later...
Kagome walked into the abandoned building that was now being used as Blades HQ and saw that Blade hadn't gotten back yet. Whistler was standing next to a table putting together a small box-like object.
She walked past him toward the room that she and Inuyasha shared. (They haven't been doing anything too kinky yet..hehehehehehehe.) She placed gently down on her bed because he didn't have on. Besides that, it had always had always helped her to heal quickly from training injuries when his scent was around. She hopped it would work with him also.
"I heard what happened. Is he ok?" The old man asked as he entered the room.
"No..." she replied wipping away a silent tear.
Whistler knew when he wasn't wanted, so he left the room, closing the door behind him.
As soon as the door closed, she broke down. "Oh Inuyasha. I'm sorry. It's all my fault. You were trying to protect me. If I hadn't been there you would have been able to cover your ears and none of this would have happened," she cried as tears poored down her face.
Two Hours Later...
Blade had returned shortly after Kagome. After checking on Inuyasha he had gone into his sleeping chamber and had been in there meditating ever since. (A/N: It's one of those things Blade does when he's upset or worried. Did you know that: in Blade Trinity the film makers were origionally going to have Blade sit upside down in the meditaion scene as one of his vampire-like tendancies, but after seeing it on tape dicided that it didn't look right.) Kagome had stayed by his side for the entire time crying waiting for him to wake up.
"Please wake up Inuyasha..." she pleaded. "You have to wake up. I love you..." she admitted as much to her self as to him. Moving a small hair out of his face, she moved closer to him. Wraping her arms around one of his, leaning her head against his chest, the back of he head facing his.
Inuyasha woke up suddenly from his near comatose sleep from the heavy smell of her tears. He felt Kagome's head resting on his chest and was about to throw her off of him in a display of false disgust when he noticed that she was talking.
"It's all my fault...You were trying to protect...me....You can't die Inu.... I love you....too much for you to..... die...." she whispered between soft sobs.
Inuyasha's eyes snapped wide open, 'Did she just say she loves me?'
"You know what? Somehow everyone knew....but me... they... know about my feelings for you.... they knew.... but I didn't.....now I do...." she said with a small smile, her sobs becoming less and less frequent.
Suddenly and in one fluid motion, Inuyasha scooped a surprised Kagome up off of the floor and hugged her close to his body in a passionate kiss.
A/N: WARNING: The next chapter will not be a lemon, I have dicided that I actually won’t have any lemons in this fic. The rating was just for the innuendo. There will be some of that in the next chapter. Inuyasha and Kagome will however get a little kinky but I wont go into any detail. The only reason it’s going to be there is because I want it to advance the story/ By adding this, I think it will help the charactors' aditudes toward one another to change as well as the fact that I might add a little plot twist invalving this little interlude. Can anyone guess which kind?
