Chapter 8: The Return of Hiten and Manten.




The Angel of God and Hiroshi went deep into the forest and Hiroshi began the prayer session.

“Thank you God for EVERYTHING. I thank you for Kagome Lord because I couldn’t have asked for a better cousin. Father God I ask that you may equip me with the whole armor of God. That the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Your word Father God is so powerful and I thank you Lord. I also thank you for sending your son Jesus to die for the world Father God. For we are all born with the offense of sin. Sin abounded in man but Grace abounded much more. Father God I know that through Christ Jesus We are MORE than conquerors.”

Hiroshi started the first day of prayer with setting up a tent and having batteries with a small cd player playing Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin and other worship singers. He played such songs as “Here I am To Worship” in Japanese and Jesus I surrender in Japanese. There was such a move in peace in that place. While Hiroshi wold sleep in the tent, before praying of course. The Angel would stay outside his tent watching over him. But in the realm of the spirit. On the first night of his fasting, Hiroshi Higurashi had a dream of demons trying to attack him but Hiroshi was surrounded by light orb and the demons would bounce back every time they tried to break the light orb surrounding Hiroshi.

Back with the Inuyasha group, Inuyasha and his friends entered the village where they feet took them. Miroku made a false accusation of demons inside a lord’s stay and he asked that he and his friends could stay in order to exorcise the demons from the man’s land. After a night of party from Miroku and eating. Sango, Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippou, Myouga and Miroku was in a room ready to go to sleep. Kagome was staring blankly into the ceiling laying down on the floor. Myouga went to Miroku’s shoulders and began jumping. Myouga went on Miroku’s neck and Miroku smacked his neck. As Myouga flew down, Miroku’s eyes fixed on Myouga for a moment.

“Myouga, tell me more about these beings that are known as ‘Angels’ “

“ Well as said, there is not much information. During my time as I head to tell lord Inuyasha about Sesshoumaru and his father’s fang, and some other times I left Kagome and lord Inuyasha during ‘certain’ times, I heard a few people in different villages speak about beings looking much human and had powers to go against that of the strongest demon. But one thing in common was that these people saw these Angels when they were children and no other time in their lives. One particular story was similar to what we experienced with Hiroshi and that demon KuroKado.”

“What was that story about?”

“ Well Miroku, the story told was said that many demons surrounded her as a girl. Her parents were nowhere to be found when all of a sudden a bright light came out of nowhere and a being clothed in all white with bronze sandals came and pulled out his golden sword and destroyed all of the demons. She claimed the demons to be dragon demons.”

“Dragon demons? Dragon demons are like one of the highest form of demons around. If these beings could defeat Dragon demons, imagine with lower forms of demons…”

“Naraku….” Myouga said.

“But do you think that an Angel could handle Naraku? What happens if Naraku thought he couldn’t win and decided to absorb the Angel into his body?” Miroku said.

“That may be a risk we have to take” Kagome said turning to them.

After Kagome spoke she looked back up at the ceiling and sighed.

“Kagome, what’s wrong?”

“Well Inuyasha, its Hiroshi Higurashi. I’m worried about him. I wonder if he’ll be o.k….”

“Oh C’mon Kagome, he’ll be fine. He’s got that guy with him…” Inuyasha said gruntily.

“Its just you don’t know Hiroshi like I do….he’s so soft at heart..”

As Kagome went to sleep she dreamt. She dreamed of Her and Hiroshi playing ball as children in front of the Higurashi shrine and then when Kagome went to throw the ball at Hiroshi. The ball hit the floor and Kagome noticed Hiroshi was gone and it ended where Kagome could call Hiroshi’s name.”

Naraku’s castle.

Satan looked at Kanna’s mirror and he smirked.

“Heh look at that child. He’s the gone who has been causing you problems Kagura and KuroKado?”
“Yes” KuroKado and Kagura said in unison.

“Well don’t worry about that. I’ll handle this child. But in the mean time…..to help you out….do any of you remember Hiten and Manten?”

“Yes, they gave Inuyasha quite a fight”

Satan walked and raised his hand and soon a red spark of flame appeared and moved around and it made a pentagram. In the middle of the fiery pentagram came two bodies encased in flames and soon. The flames disappated and the bodies were surrounded by electricity. Soon the two bodies of Hiten and Manten formed. Falling to the ground both of them grunted and breathed heavily.”

“Brother Hiten, I thought we were dead…”

“Well younger brother, we are back and we’re going to take revenge on that half demon Inuyasha!”

“HOLd up!” Satan said with his left hand doing the stop sign.

“If you want to get Inuyasha, we must do this organized. He has grown in power. I will give you the power as if each of you had 10 jewel shards. But you must promise me that you must do my bidding…”

“No I wont do that! I don’t follow no one, thanks for bringing us back but I’d like to go on our own” Hiten said.

Satan smirked and chuckled.

“Its sad you think that way….” With that Satan snapped his finger and suddenly Hiten and Manten was surrounded by much electricity and they yelled in pain.


“Ok ok ok!!! ” Hiten and Manten said

“Good I will now endow you with the powers of hell…”

And soon after Hiten had a pentagram on his forehead and Manten had an upside down cross on his forehead with lit with power.

“ Now listen to me, I want you to attack Inuyasha, while I go and try something against Hiroshi Higurashi. First we must plan because I want this to be swift and easy. Got it Naraku…? Hiroshi is doing something and he CANNOT join the Inuyasha group when he is finished….”

“Why is that…?”Naraku spoke

“Well I don’t know I just know he’s doing something to gain in spiritual power. If he does, not even Hiten and Manten could stand up against Hiroshi’s powers.”

“But he is a human…..there is no way humans could be just as powerful as us.”

Satan knew the truth. It was in the Cross of Calvary when Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world is when Jesus Christ kicked Satan in his teeth and Satan was forever more defeated. And Hiroshi was praying just as Jesus did in the mountains for Forty days.

It was the second day and Kagome was packing her stuff. She had such a sad look upon her face. She began replaying memories inside her mind.

10 years ago…

“Hi Kagome!”

Hiroshi yelled as he ran up the stairs to the Higurashi shrine. Wearing blue jeans and a skinny white t-shirt. He had short black hair and his eye pupils was black. About this time he was 3 feet 11. Kagome was a bit shorter. When Kagome saw Hiroshi her face lit up.

“Hiroshi!”

“Kagome I’m sorry…”

“ About what Hiroshi?”

“About I’m moving to America..”

“its not your fault…we’ll still be family…cousins forever?”

“Cousins forever”

Afterward Kagome and Hiroshi hugged each other and smiled. Kagome remembered Hiroshi as a timid young person. He liked peace and never was for fighting. She was very scared for him being alone in the forest. She was one of the only family members that wasn’t embarrassing to her. Inuyasha touched Kagome’s shoulder and she shook her head got out of her day dream and smiled at Inuyasha.

“Yea..?”
“Kagome are you ok..?”

“Yea I am fine! Nothing wrong here…”

“Where’s Miroku and Sango..?” Kagome asked

“Well they’re out getting supplies…”

Back at The forest…


Hiroshi looked around and sighed looking up into the sky. As it began to get dark, Hiroshi got ready to start a worship service vigil. Playing softly “Victory in Jesus” as he sat down and closed his eyes to pray. Soon the trees began to move and the bushes began rustling violently. Soon Hiroshi opened his left eye and out of it he saw a Shadow on the ground. The Shadow on the ground moved up and took form of a man clothed in all dark. When it began forming, the music in his c.d. player stopped.

“Ah Hiroshi, how are you….I’ve been watching you for some time…”

“….”

From Hiroshi all could be heard from him was his stomach growling.

“Ah, you must be hungry. You believe in God. Because It is written that whatever you ask the Father through the son, you shall receive. Knock and it shall be opened…so why don’t you ask Jesus to turn some stone into bread..?”

That sounded very tempting to Hiroshi, he was so hungry. How nice would it be to have food right now. He would also be seeing the power of God with his own eyes if he saw the action occurring but in his spirit. Something kept telling him something. Looking down, inside the cloak of the man was a smirk. Hiroshi knew it was Satan. But what would he be doing in Feudal Japan?? He is not omnipresent so him being in Feudal Japan must mean something important. He cant put his finger on it but he thought something was very fishy. As he began to look up he had a somber expression on his face.

“Even though you are right, it is written that man shall not live on bread alone. But by the word of God which feeds our spirit..”

During the next few days of fasting. Hiroshi was tempted by Satan. Satan was trying his hardest to tempt Hiroshi. He came on the fifth day to Hiroshi and asked him that if God really loves him that if were to do something that he’ll send his Angels to protect him wherever he goes. Hiroshi responded with It is written, thou shall not tempt the Lord your God.. On the last day of fasting. Satan was going to show Hiroshi the kingdoms of the world and the lusts that could be fulfilled in his heart. All he had to do was bow down and worship Satan. Satan knew Hiroshi very well and knew what would tempt him very well. Satan knew that he had Hiroshi in the bag. As he went to tempt Hiroshi, he tried to get close to where Hiroshi was at but when he did, it got harder and harder for Satan to breathe. Then suddenly Satan was pushed back by an immense force.

“Ugh…that had to be Jesus…Show yourself Jesus!!!!Where are you!!!COWARD!!!”

“………..”
< br> “ Silent hm…?!? HUH?! That Fight on the cross, you got lucky!!! Where are you..?”

Once again Satan was pushed back by an “unknown” force.

“ I swear Jesus, I will get you!”

Afterward Satan disappeared in a flame of smoke.

Back with The Inuyasha Gang, it was night time and they were in an open field after the forest and village they passed by. As they walked they began to hear a laughter. Soon after the laughter was followed by a huge lightning bolt. Inuyasha grabbed Kagome and everyone else moved out the way. During the night, Inuyasha looked around to wonder where the enemy is at.

“Show yourself!”

“Calm down half-breed. Still with that wench I see..?”

Soon a cloud came with Manten on it and Hiten flying without his wheels. Hiten smirked as the pentagram glowed brightly in his face.

“It seems you’ve grown your group of pathetic humans I see Inuyasha. Well look here Manten, a Taijiya. From what I remember she’s the last one Naraku said.”

“Wait you joined Naraku!?”

Inuyasha said in shock as he unsheathed his tetsusaiga forming into the huge fang, he pointed it at Hiten.

“Naraku or no Naraku, your back and I can still kick your ass…”

“Well I doubt it half-breed. I’ve gained much more power since our last fight…”

“So have I..”

“Manten! If you want, fight the slayer and monk and the girl. Remember what Naraku told us about the monk…”

“Alright Brother, time we seek revenge..Mwahah! Mwaha!”

Hiten thrusted his thunder pike at Inuyasha and he countered with his tetsusaiga. Electricity flowed much through the contact of the weapons. Hiten smirked and thrusted his pike up and Inuyasha was opened for an assault when Hiten thrusted his pike upward,making the tetsusaiga thrust aswell. Hiten, going for an attack in Inuyasha’s abdomen, thought he was going to hit him but he moved to the side when Inuyasha swung his tetsusaiga downward for firing the Wind Scar. Hiten moved back and in the air was a smirk on his face.

“Well well, you didn’t lie when you said you grew in power. Well half-breed. You think it’ll be enough for my new powers, enough with the chatter…”

Hiten flew downward and thrusted his thunder pike at Inuyasha. Inuyasha blocked with tetsusaiga. There were many clashes of thunder pike and tetsusaiga. As the night gave way into the fight, Miroku and Sango stared down Manten.

“Such a lovely demon slayer! Too bad me and Hiten have to kill the likes of you. Don’t worry pretty, I’ll make sure your used for a nice coat to grow some hair…”

“Pfft Jerk, take this! Hiraikotsu!”

With a thrust of her wrist she grabbed her huge boomerang and threw it such such ferocity at Manten. As it cut the air as it passed it made a swishing noise towards Manten. Manten opened his mouth and with a yell from his opened mouth, a yellow light forming into lightning appeared from his mouth. Thrusting his mouth forward, the lightning moved in such power at the Hiraikotsu. There was no struggle in moving the Hiraikotsu. As the Hiraikotsu struggled to pass through the lightning, it hit the floor and the lightning moved violently towards Miroku and Sango. While Sango and Miroku jumped out the way, the lightning rushed its way through the open field and made an explosion when it hit the ground. Miroku, from jumping out the way, rolled on the ground. When he got up he let go of his beads surrounding his hand and released the Wind Tunnel. Manten, had no trouble in releasing the Hamyosho. As he threw the ball up in the air, many poisonous bugs came out of it. Miroku knew all too well not to suck them it. Putting the cloth and beads around his hand again, he moved back and looked at Manten.

“There’s no way they could’ve known about the poisonous bugs….they have to be working for Naraku…”Miroku said

Hiten and Manten looked at eachother and laughed.

“Naraku told us about your Wind Tunnel Monk, but we are working for someone more powerful than Naraku…” Hiten said.

Hiten thrusted his thunder pike at Inuyasha once again. When the thunder pike and the tetsusaiga hit once again, Hiten was holding the thunder pike with one hand. As Hiten had a devilish smirk on his face, Inuyasha wondered what he was planning until Inuyasha saw Hiten’s free hand. It was flowing with electricity. Electricity crackles could be heard a long with electricity flowing around his fist and forearm.

“Take this half- breed!”

Hiten thrusted his electric fist at Inuyasha. Inuyasha could only look at the fist with shock. Being punched back, Inuyasha slid across the ground and hit a huge rock. The Dust covering Inuyasha, Hiten stood on the ground tall and held his thunder pike at his side. With a smirk on his face, the pentagram on his forehead glowed vibrantly. As Hiten walked toward Inuyasha, he was stopped by a quick passing arrow.

“Darn it, I missed…” Kagome said angrily to herself.

“Kagome be careful!” Shippou said while being on her shoulder.

“Shippou if anything happens, I want you to run and get as far from here as possible…”

“Kagome but no! I can’t leave you guys!”

“ No one will get out of here alive…” Hiten said as he turned back to Kagome

Hiten’s eyes were ferocious. Kagome was so scared. As Hiten would take one step forward, Kagome would take one step back.

“I don’t know how you survived my last attack from our previous encounter, but I promise you wont survive again!”

Hiten’s face was full of anger. He was so angry that soon with every step he took, it would electricity. His thunder pike was itching with electric power that it looked like it was ready to fire an attack. From the side came a Wind Scar and Hiten jumped into the sky.

“I don’t know how you came back to life or how you got your new powers but you won’t beat me. It was kind of sad that I couldn’t relive my memories of you by dancing on your tombstone.”

As Sango went to grab her Hiraikotsu, Miroku threw a sutra at Manten. As Manten waved his arm to make the sutra move to the side. Sango got her boomerang and threw it at the many bugs around the area. When it came back, Manten fired more lightning from his mouth. Sango dodged it and threw her boomerang once again. Moving his cloud to the side, the boomerang missed.

“hahA! Mere human! Do you think It will be this easy to ugh!”

The boomerang came back and hit Manten in the back of the head. Falling down to the ground, Miroku used his staff to hold Manten’s neck to prevent him from firing his lightning attack. Miroku struggled as hard as he can to keep onto Manten’s back because Manten was using every ounce of his strength to let Miroku loose. Sango seeing the opportunity got her Katana to slice a chunk of Manten’s face. Though so close yet so far away, Sango’s arm holding the Katana was held by Manten’s hand and he threw her back and then he threw Miroku holding his staff. As they hit the floor on the ground. They looked at them. Soon after Inuyasha joined Miroku and Sango on the ground. As Kagome ran to them, attending to Inuyasha’s aide. She looked at Hiten and Manten.

“How did these two demons grow tremendously in power? They don’t have shikon shards on them…”

It was just then Kagome noticed the upside down cross on Manten. She noticed the Pentagram on Hiten but she didn’t notice the upside down cross on Manten. Her eyes opened widely. Inuyasha slowly got up and grabbed tetsusaiga once again. As it transformed to the fang form, Hiten and Manten smirked and laughed.

“Look Manten, the half-breed still has some fight in him….”

“You guys are gonna be surprised in what I have in store for you…”

Inuyasha began to sense their demonic aura and as Hiten and Manten smirked as to wonder what he had in store, Inuyasha fired Tetsusaiga’s ultimate attack. The Bankuryuuha.. As the ferocious attack went for them, Hiten’s eyes opened widely. There was no way to dodge the attack at this close range and no seemingly way to block it. But just then, a being clothed in black appeared in front of Hiten and Manten and he put his arm in front of the attack and the Bankuryuuha disappeared. Soon after fired consumed the being and revealed it to be the Satan.

“ Obviously someone forgot to tell you about Inuyasha’s Bankuryuuha.”

As Satan looked back at Hiten and Manten, he had an angry expression on his face.

“I should’ve sent KuroKado along with you….”

“KuroKado?!” Kagome said

“Hm…?”

“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Kagome Higurashi. Cousin to Hiroshi Higurashi. You know, your cousin has been a great nuisance..”

Satan moved with such quickness. Inuyasha couldn’t even see it. As Satan smirked at Kagome, his fist was thrusted in the gut of Inuyasha. Inuyasha fell to the ground and Miroku and Sango got up. Satan looked at Kagome and smirked.

“We could use you….”

Kagome with such fear in her body couldn’t move. Satan picked her up and put her on his shoulders. As Sango got ready to fire her weapon at Satan, Satan turned back and smirked.

“You know, that weapon is very dangerous, what would happen if you were to hit your friend the monk…?”

“I’m very careful! You should be worried what might my weapon do to you!”

“On the contrary my human pawn…”

As Satan had a soft smile on his face. Sango’s eyes opened widely as her body was doing something that she wasn’t doing on her own. Sango turned to Miroku and got in a stance to fire the Hiraikotsu at him.

“Miroku get out the way!”

“Like I said, be careful with weapons that dangerous my dear, you may get hurt…”

Sango dropped the weapon and then as Satan continued to look at her, Sango put her hands on her neck and began choking herself. Soon after she began to levitate. Hiten and Manten looked in amazement in what Satan was doing and then Satan turned back to Hiten and Manten.

“Well, nice meeting you. Its time we took out leave though. Hiten, Manten, let’s go.”

Sango was turning blue from choking herself and then Sango and Miroku flew back and hit the ground far from where Inuyasha stood. Hiten, Manten, and Satan carrying Kagome left toward Naraku’s castle.

“Inuyasha!!!!!”

Next time on Inuyasha

Hey its me Hiroshi. Apparently Satan got my cousin Kagome. Now its personal. Me and the others make a plan to get them back. In the mean time, Inuyasha’s sibling rivalry eventually puts me in the middle of it when The Angel got to deal with Inuyasha’s brother. What? This lady’s actually dead but wandering the living? Jesus I really need your Holy Spirit now. Next time on Inuyasha!
