Inuyasha Forgets

Hey! This is my second fanfic to write. My first one was Inuyasha's first Christmas and It wasn't good but this one will be. Inuyasha somehow forgets Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo and goes on a wild rampage. Kagome must find a way to stop him before innocent lives are taken.

Please review me and tell me how the story was. I would like advice too. I also encourage you to read the story time forgot. It is good!

"Kagome, stay back. I sense demons around." Inuyasha warned Kagome. He had Tetsusaiga drawn and was ready to strike at anything that could do him or Kagome harm.

"Ha," laughed a deep voice so suddenly it made Kagome jump. "You and your sword can't defeat the power of I, Koyaki."

"What do want" Inuyasha yelled.

"Nothing of you…I only want Kagome," Koyaki said. His voice was very deep and loud. It made a shiver run up Kagome's back. She had her bow an arrow drawn.

The moon seemed to have no light and it was pitch dark. You could barely see your hand if it was in front of your face. The stars did not shine fore they were covered with thick rolling clouds. Lightning lashed out and a flash of light lit the forest. An ear-shattering roll of thunder followed it. Rain began pouring down.

In the distance a dark figure began to loom towards them. It soundlessly glided across the grass. A faint glow of light surrounded it. Kagome saw it coming towards them.

"Inuyasha," she whispered pointing towards the figure, "there it is."

As it neared they could faintly make out the sound of it chanting, "Mimau, Liur, Conju, gods of land, sea, and sky, curse the one touched by this spell, and they shall forget everything they know. There powers only go towards destruction and death." It pointed its dark finger towards Kagome and light began to form the tip of it. Inuyasha jumped in front of Kagome just as the beam of light lashed out. It struck him in the chest and he fell to the ground. The dark figure disappeared suddenly.

"Oh, Inuyasha!" Kagome wept, "What has happened to you." She fell to her knees and began to cry noiselessly. Inuyasha did not move and his chest moved up and down with the slowest motion. It was the only sign that he was alive.

"Get back!" Inuyasha yelled suddenly, "Something's happening to me."

"Inuyasha?" Kagome whispered. She was drenched from the cold rain. "What is wrong."

Inuyasha got to his feet slowly. His eyes were red and to purple stripes were on his face. His face had an evil look in it. "RUN!" he yelled.

Kagome stood still for a moment then listened to Inuyasha took off running as fast as her legs would carry her. She ran a long time and could see Keade's house in the distance. She could hear Inuyasha snarling and chasing after her. "What had happened to him," she thought.

She looked behind her. Inuyasha was catching up to her fast. She pushed harder and ran faster. Her heart was beating loudly and she was breathing rapidly. Keade's house was a little ways ahead. She threw off her backpack and added a small burst of speed. She came to Keade's front door and pushed it open.

Closed the door behind her and fell to the floor breathing hard. She was covered in rain and cold sweat. Keade looked up in surprise. "What's wrong," she asked.

"In…Inu…Inuyasha," she answered trying to talk and breath at the same time, "Eyes red…chasing me…dark figure…"

There was a loud bang as the door fell down and Inuyasha stood in the doorway. His face was full of evil and Kagome huddled in the corner of the room.

Keade gripped a staff from the corner and quickly pointed it at Inuyasha and chanted a spell, "Mimau, Liur, Conju, gods of land, sea, and sky, remove the curse of Koyaki."

Inuyasha stopped and his eyes changed to there normal color. The stripes on his face disappeared. He was back to normal. "What…what happened to me? Where's that phantom thing?" Inuyasha asked stunned.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled as she jumped up and kissed him on the cheek, "You are back to normal!"

"What have I done?" Inuyasha yelled, "I remember…remember trying to kill you. I wanted to kill everything I could. I felt nothing but evil surging through my veins."

"It wasn't you!" Kagome said, "It was that spell that thing put on you. Keade said some kind of counter spell and set you normal again."

"How did you know a counter curse," Inuyasha asked Keade.

"I guess I need to explain some things. I really don't know the story well though. Myoga will have to tell it. For now I want you to rest and remember tonight as a bad dream and nothing more," she answered.

Keade laid to pallets on the floor. She handed Kagome a robe to put on and she handed one to Inuyasha as well. They dressed in separate places and then laid down. Kagome fell asleep almost instantly, tired from running. Inuyasha lay awake and thought about what had happened to him. Keade did not sleep either. She lay awake and on guard.

In the morning Myoga was there and waiting for Kagome and Inuyasha to awaken. When they had awoken and sleepiness had left them they sat around and waited for Myoga to explain.

When Sesshomaru found out his Father had fallen in love with a human, Inuyasha's mother, he was outraged. He was so mad; in fact, he decided to put a curse upon the human and Inuyasha's off spring. He went to see a man named Koyaki.

Koyaki knew lots of spell and curses. He believed in the powers of three God's named Mimau, Liur, and Conju. Sesshomaru requested a spell that would kill Inuyasha, but Koyaki said he did not kill with his curses. Sesshomaru said to throw the worst curse he had at him then, since he could not kill Inuyasha with his curses and spells.

Koyaki was unable to because, Inuyasha was protected by his Father. He waited.

When Inuyasha's father died in battle he still did not strike. He waited. He was going to take from Inuyasha. He was going to take the thing that was closest to Inuyasha. When he found out about Kagome, he knew it was time to strike.

"So this is Sesshomaru's doing," Inuyasha said.

"Yes," Myoga answered.

"That doesn't explain why Keade knew a counter curse," Kagome said.

"Koyaki was one of my closest friends when I was a child," Keade said, "when he died, I received his book of curses and counter curses."

"If Koyaki is dead, then how did he attack me," Inuyasha said.

"His son," Keade said, "It was most likely his son."

"His son looked up to him and learned everything his father knew. His name was Koyaki also. He vowed to do everything his father had intended to do when he died. That was why he attacked Inuyasha last night."
