<><><><><><><>< >In the Morning of the first Day<><><><><><><>

Inuyasha raised his head and looked up at the new moon. He sat and thought to himself… How could I have forgotten the new moon came tonight…I'm focusing on Kagome so much I can't remember anything…I hope the cat demons don't find out I can't use Tutsiega when I'm human… oh Kagome please be safe…

Wind glided blissfully through the window and ruffled Inuyasha's black hair. He could hear cat demons walking around outside and talking about him and his companions. He felt useless to Kagome sitting in some hut surrounded by cats.

The sun slowly rose over the horizon engulfing the land in light. The birds began to sing and fly about and nature was once again awakening.

Miroku moaned and sat up from the bed. He looked at Inuyasha sitting on the floor awake. Shippau was in the bed beside him. "Inuyasha, is nit time yet…"

Inuyasha looked up Miroku, "yeah, guess it is."

They left Shippau in the hut and walked to Neko's house.

<><>At Neko's<><>

Inuyasha left Miroku with Neko and left snickering on the way out. Miroku turned and looked at Neko. She turned away from him and frowned.

"I could destroy you with one swipe of my claws monk…"

"And I could obliterate you if I removed my prayer beads." He pointed to his right hand.

"Lets just get this over with. Before we start this week thing though I have a few rules, no touching me, talking to me, sucking me into your Kazanna, or anything of those sorts got it monk?"

"My name is Miroku and I will not agree to those rules because I have already broken two of them."

Neko looked at Miroku. His hand was settled on her shoulder and he was speaking to her. She growled and looked away.

"Lets go to the other villages on this mountain, I'm sure one of them must be in need of a Buddhist Monk." He stood up and held out his hand to her. Neko looked back at him and pushed his hand away, standing up herself.

Miroku began heading out the door and Neko followed at a slow pace behind him. As she followed him through the village, her head bowed in shame, she decided she should at least lead the monk to show her fellow cats who's boss. She picked up her pace and began walking in front of him.

Miroku looked at her hair swaying back and forth in as she walked before him. He eyed her from head to toe and smiled stepping closer. He tried to resist but, (this is Miroku right), couldn't help himself. His hand reached out to her lower body and he did what he did.

Neko froze. Her face was deep scarlet and she rounded on Miroku greeting him with red handprints embedded on his face. "How…how dare you…you!!!" She yelled loudly.

<><><><>Back with Inuyasha<><><><>

Inuyasha's ears perked up and he looked around. "Shippau."

"What is it Inuyasha?"

"Did you hear that?"

He nodded.

"This can only mean…Miroku has just grabbed Neko."

"What?!"

<><><><>Back with Miroku and Neko<><><><>

"I hate you! I hate you! I hate YOU!!!"

"I'm sorry…I can't help it…"

Neko gave him a fierce looked and turned away from him and continued walking. Miroku smiled pleasantly and began walking as well. They were coming upon a village when Neko stopped and stared at it with sad eyes.

"There's a village we can go to."

Neko looked away and stared at the ground. Miroku began walking towards it and Neko followed solemnly. If it weren't for Miroku's Kazanna, she would have headed back to her village.

Miroku entered the village with Neko behind him. Male cat demons walked around them. Miroku walked up to one of them. "Could you tell me where the leader of this village is?"

The cat demon lifted his head and looked at Miroku. He smiled graciously. "We've been in need of a monk to perform an exorcism." The demon then shifted his gaze to Neko and gawked at her.

"Its Neko! Its that terrible woman who band us from seeing our wives!"

Everyone turned and stared. Neko looked at them. Her heart was swelling and seemed to be ripping apart. "I…I'm sorry"

"What's that going to do for us…it's been two years since I last saw my kits!"

Neko bolted from the village and ran into a large house. It was identical to hers. She passed through hallways and looked into rooms until she saw a man sitting in one. Tears were forming in her eyes and she ran to him.

The cat demon looked down at her in surprise, then his eyes became friendly and gentle as he embraced her.

"Neko! It's been so long!"

"I'm sorry Meko! I didn't mean to…to do such a retched thing to you and the other cat demons. Not only did I make them suffer, but I made myself suffer too!" She hugged him tighter and planted a kiss on his cheek.

He slowly kissed her back. "Neko…its okay."

Miroku caught up with Neko and looked into the room. He saw her and a male cat demon embracing each other. "Neko"

She looked up at him. After planting another kiss on Meko she walked over to him. "Miroku, if it wasn't for your pervert ways, I would have never brought myself to see Meko again."

Miroku looked at her thinking this was his last chance. He bowed on his knee and took her hand, "Neko, will you bear my child?"

Neko once again grew red and this time, drew her claws. Miroku was sent flying out of the room covered in scratches.

(a/n Neko brought the boys and girls back together and joined the two tribes by the construction of a large bridge over the river. She went and lived in Meko's house and they soon wed. As for Miroku he sadly left Neko and joined Inuyasha on his quest for Kagome. Inuyasha, Shippau, and Miroku left the village with plentiful supplies thanx to the thankful cat demons.)

Inuyasha, Shippau, and Miroku stood before the new tribe leader Meko and his bride Neko. As they readied themselves to go Inuyasha looked at Neko and spoke. "So we solved your problem and I have wasted enough time… what was that mist I was in and who are Thiatens.

"That's what we called the men cat demons, but what mist are you talking about."

"The mist I was in when I first got here that's what!"

"There was no mist."

"Yes, there was!"

"Inuyasha, I don't remember mist either."

Inuyasha turned and looked at Shippau in surprise. If there was no mist then, what was that?
