What was up with the last chapter? I have no idea! Here is chapter 20!

Inuyasha gazed up at Koyaki. Koyaki's black hair wave din the wind. Using his quick demonic reflexes, Inuyasha jumped to the right and pulled Tutsiega from its case. It transformed and emitted flames.

Koyaki came crashing to the ground beside him. He lifted his head slowly. His eyes were rolled into the back of is head. He pulled his Katana from the ground and held it above his head once more. "Inuyasha…"

Inuyasha lifted his magnificent sword into the air and brought down to Earth with a crash. "Kaze no Kizu!"

Koyaki fell back on the ground. His shirt was destroyed and blood oozed from his fresh wounds. He stood up, grasping his katana in his right hand. The force of Inuyasha's wind scar had shattered his left one.

Koyaki swung his sword in a circular pattern. He chanted. The katana glowed in a black endless light. The evil it emanated was unbearable. Inuyasha quivered slightly as its aura passed through him.

Koyaki's eyes became the same endless black as the sword. Before Inuyasha could blink again, Koyaki had swung his new sword into his gut. Koyaki stood in front of him smirking.

Inuyasha snarled through his teeth; which were crushed together in agony. He clasped onto the sword and pulled it from his body leaving a gaping hole.

Kagome stared at the fight in horror as she sat on the tree branch. There had to be a way she could help…

A burning was running through his veins. It was seizing him. It was trying to toss him into the fires of hell. Inuyasha fell back and he stared up at Koyaki who hovered over him smirking. His sight was blurry. He couldn't feel his body anymore. It had left him.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome could stand it no longer. She jumped from the tree and landed on her feet. Ignoring the pain that raced through her legs she ran towards Inuyasha.

The sun had long gone over the horizon. She could just make out the shape of Inuyasha's near lifeless body.

She fell on him. Tears stained her cheeks ad blurred her vision. "Inuyasha…Inuyasha…INUYASHA!!!"

Inuyasha mustered all the strength he could, trying to embrace the girl laying on him. He tried to move his lips to comfort her, but they wouldn't move. `Goodbye Kagome…'

Kagome felt most of his aura disappear. Only a faint trickle of it was left.

`Inuyasha…I love…you…now its to late…I might as well…die too.'

"Kagome! Now you are truly mine!"

Kagome turned around to see Koyaki behind her. He was still smirking. "Oh and Hiaten, he never existed. Just something I cooked up to show you how loving I can be."

Kagome stared at him. All the hatred that was kept down because of her fear suddenly burst. She lunged at him. She moved her fists up and down hitting him on the chest.

Koyaki smirked and grabbed her arm. He squeezed it tightly and laughed. "Don't hurt your man Kagome."

"Never!"

Suddenly a fist came out of nowhere and struck Koyaki in the face. After his surprise wore off he turned to se the fox demon standing before him.

"Let her be!"

Kagome stepped back and looked at Inuyasha. All her grief that had left when her anger rose suddenly returned as she gazed upon the body of inuyasha. It haunted her.
