Inuyasha led the two girls to an old monk's house where Miroku, Sango and Shippou were cooking dinner, (actually... Sango was cooking dinner while Shippou ate the extra food and while Miroku tried to
touch her ass more than once...)
Kagome coughed and they all looked up to see the new girl. (Kagome was being ignored a lot today...)
"This is..." Inuyasha said, remembering that he didn't know the girl's name.
"...Becky," she said quickly, looking at the ground.
"Becky," Inuyasha said quietly, (he liked her name...)
Sango and Miroku nodded as Shippou walked over to inspect the newcomer.
He sniffed Becky and nodded cheerfully. "I like her!" He hugged her and she shifted awkwardly, looking down at the little fox demon.
Inuyasha walked into the middle of the room and sat down cross-legged and beckoned for Becky to sit down next to him.
Kagome looked hurt and went to help Sango with dinner. (but she also sent dirty looks to Becky every once in a while as well...)
Inuyasha stood up after a while, a little sick of having Kagome send Becky and him dirty looks every two seconds. He waved to Becky and she followed him quietly, (which is really hard in high heels, by the way...)
Inuyasha sat down on the well and Becky did the same thing. He moved a bit closer to her and she blushed quickly, looking at her feet.
"I guess that you're wondering why I wanted to meet you here..." he began.
Becky nodded.
Inuyasha looked into Becky's eyes, his heart filled with sadness and feeling stupid for not recognizing Becky in the first place...
"Do you remember Becky? All those years ago... Before- before I met Kikyo..."
She looked up suddenly, something clicking into place.
"The... boy from the village... It was you??!!"
Inuyasha nodded quietly, his heart being flooded by memories...

"Hey Inuyasha!" Becky called, "where were you yesterday? I thought that we were going to go training..."
Becky stopped.
Inuyasha was locking lips with Kikyo, the village priestess...

"Oh, Becky..." Inuyasha began, at a loss for words.
She had always been there for him...
She had always loved him.
He sighed and stood up slowly. If Kagome saw him do this, she would freak, so he looked around quickly and then kissed Becky on the lips...
Becky went limp. She had loved him, but they had really only been friends all those years ago...
She put her arms around her and kissed him back. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world. She felt dizzy and she felt happy and she could feel him love her in return...
Becky closed her eyes and almost felt time stand still.
Inuyasha loved her too.
