[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Disclaimer: Inuyasha, not me own.

Lildrummergrl58: I'm sorry to all our fans if my partner, EvilFire4321, dies because I'm going to -cough, cough- strangle -cough- her -cough, cough- because of her hard rhythmic dictation -cough- that she can't -cough- even play! -Cough, cough.-

Credits: Of course to me because I WROTE this whole entire chapter without EvilFire4321 writing the beginning and end.

EvilFire4321: Erhem, woodwind racist, remember I revised it because YOU can't stay in third person at all, and don't die from coughing.

Lildrummergrl58: Percussion rocks! Hey, I thought I killed you. Well, fine, you revised it and I can't write third person, and I'm dieing of coughing, so what?

EvilFire4321: Apparently not, and so what? It's a big deal. Oh, by the way, if you think this chapter and the next chapter sucks, don't flame me flame her -points to Lildrummergrl58- okay, enough, on with the chapter.

Inuyasha Marching Band Chapter 8: What Happened, Miroku?

Sesshoumaru sat in his seat in the corner of the room as Mr. Gorman continued to review for their first test.

(Mr. Gorman- Lion Youkai, civics teacher)

It was about fifteen minutes into the period, and the ice demon was already growing bored of Mr. Gorman's constant bla, bla, bla. Then, suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Sesshoumaru didn't think anything about it until he heard Kagome's voice. He looked up to see Kagome and Sango talking to Mr. Gorman.

Kelli and Jenny stopped whispering, and looked up too. Then Mr. Gorman told the three of them that Kagome and Sango needed to talk to them.

They grabbed their belongings, and proceeded out into the hallway. Standing out in the hallway already, were Inuyasha, Dan, Sandi, and Muller. Sango proceeded to close the door, and turned around so we would see the tears in her eyes.

(Jeremy- rat, Nick's friend, sophomore)

"What's wrong?" Jenny asked. "Why are you crying?"

"It's. . . Miroku!" she whimpered as she started to cry hysterically. Muller went over and tried to comfort her, but it was no use. It was hard on all of them. They began to walk towards the main doors while Dan told Jenny, Kell, and Sesshoumaru about what happened in detail. As the sad group grew closer to the main lobby, they could see the lights from the ambulance flashing. Two paramedics were taking Miroku out with a neck brace on a stretcher.

"NO!" Sango exclaimed as she tried to run out to him, but was stopped by another paramedic. She tried to fight back, but was too weak, and dropped to the floor.

Sandi went out to cry with her, and Dan tried to comfort them both. Kagome got so upset that she turned to walk away, but only ran into Sesshoumaru's chest. Sesshoumaru embraced her, and they stood there together. Jenny, Kelli, and Muller started towards the paramedics to ask if they could all go to the hospital with Miroku. With all the commotion, the principal came out to settle everything.

"What's going on?" inquired Mr. Don sternly.

(Mr. Don- principle, boar)

Why are you all out of your classes? This is none of your concern, go back to classes."

"No way! He's our friend!" Muller argued.

"One more word from you young man, and I'll call your parents!"

"Then you do that, I'm leaving!"

"None of us are!" Kelli added.

With that, Mr. Don headed back to his office to call all of their parents.

The paramedic started to walk to the ambulance when Sango stopped him. "You have to let me go," she pleaded.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you go," he told her, and tried to walk away again, but Sango grabbed his shoulders.

"Please," she begged. The paramedic thought about it for a moment, then slightly shook his head, and quickly put her in the back with Miroku.

"It's ok, Miroku, I'm here," she whispered to him, and held his hand.

When they arrived at the hospital, they took Miroku right to the E.R. Sango did not leave his side, except for the x-rays and cat scans. When the scans were over, and the doctors checked them, they called Sango into the office.

"Miroku has a mild concussion and a sprained wrist. It seems that he fell on his hand, but tried to stop it with his wrist. That was actually a very smart thing to do because he of what he did, he didn't hit his had as hard as he would and his injuries aren't as bad. He should be ok in a week or two, but I don't want him to take gym or play play sports for a while. He needs to just take it easy. Can you make sure of that, please?"

"Of course," she replied.

The rest of the ambulance left, and the sirens slowly disintegrated into nothing. Mr. Don came back out of his office. "All of your parents are on their way."

"Good, see if we care," Muller replied.

Everyone's parents slowly started to show up. As they arrived, Dan, Sandi, Muller, Jenny, and Kell started to explain what happened. When all the parents arrived there, Mr. Don tried to argue why he couldn't let the kids go.

"Why didn't you let them go? It's seventh period. The day's almost over anyway," Jenny's father fought back.

"That's their friend, you should have let them go," Mrs. Muller added.

"Yeah, think about it. If you were them wouldn't you want to go?" asked Kelli's mother angrily.

"Well . . . yeah . . . but. . ."

"But what? Cat got your tongue?" Dan's father asked sarcastically.

"Come on you guys, we'll all go together. Jump in my van," Sandi's mom said. They all did so, and got ready to go to the hospital. All of the adults jumped in their cars, and followed Sandi's mom.

Sango picked up her backpack, and got ready to leave the doctors office.

"I must keep him safe. I won't let him take P.E," she thought.

Sango walked out of the doctor's office, and headed towards Miroku's room. Surprisingly, as she walked in, she saw everyone else already there, and surrounding the bed Miroku lay in. Kagome turned around, and made a spot for Sango.

Sango took Miroku's hand, and calmly said, "You'll be ok. I promise."
