Well, we have made it to chapter two. I hope you will enjoy it. Sesshomaru and Rin show up and Inuyasha is not so happy about it. Rin wants to join in the fun, but as you could have guessed, Sesshomaru takes no interest in it. Please enjoy and REVIEW!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~Chapter Two Begins~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Is this one okay," Inuyasha asked Kagome.

"No, this one is to tall. We wouldn't be able to put the decorations around the top," Kagome answered.

Sigh. "You've turned down at least twenty trees so far."

"I want to find one just right for our first Christmas together."

"How about this one Kagome," Shippo asked.

"That one is way to small. It's pretty scrawny too. I don't think it could hold an ornament," Kagome said.

Kagome looked around the woods searching for a decent tree to cut down. "This one's perfect!" she exclaimed, "Just the right size, shape, and strength. Hurry and cut it down Inuyasha!" Inuyasha drew the Tetsusaiga and swung it hard towards the tree.

"WHAM" "CRACK" The tree began to fall towards Kagome. "Kagome! Watch OUT!" Inuyasha yelled. He leaped towards her and grabbed her around the waist before springing to safety.

"Oh Inuyasha! You saved my life!" Kagome said happily.

"What else," he answered.

"Kagome, Kagome! Are you alright?" Shippo asked.

"I fine. Thanks to Inuyasha."

Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo began to haul the tree towards the well. Inuyasha was doing most of the work, but Kagome and Shippo tried there best to help.

"Why do you want the tree near the well?" Inuyasha asked.

"So I can see it as soon as I come through the well. Wants we get decorations on it, it will be a beautiful tree," Kagome said.

Inuyasha turned to look at Kagome and he lost his grip on the tree. He grabbed for it, but fell on his foot. "Get it off!" Inuyasha yelled. He grabbed the tree and threw it off of himself.

Kagome walked up beside him and asked him if he was all right.

"Of course I'm alright. It's just a toe. I could live without it anyhow," Inuyasha answered.

"You need to pay more attention," Shippo said.

"Attention!!!" Wham! "I'll teach you to pay attention."

"Why are you always hitting me!"? Shippo wailed.

"Because you deserve it that's why!" Inuyasha answered.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~Back at the Well ~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"It looks great all we need is some decorations for it to make it sparkle." Kagome said.

"Let me get this straight. For Christmas you cut down a tree and then put it somewhere and plant it again when it has no roots," Inuyasha stated.

"Inuyasha," said a voice.

Inuyasha turned around to see his half brother standing before him. Jaken and Rin stood behind him.

"Why are you here," Inuyasha asked his half brother.

"Only to see you half demon," Sesshomaru said.

"If you want to fight then bring it on," Inuyasha said to Sesshomaru. Inuyasha jumped back and drew Tetsusaiga. Kagome and Shippo backed off and hid behind the tree. Jaken and Rin backed off too.

Inuyasha jumped at Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru tried to dodge, but received a deep scratch in his arm. He lunged at Inuyasha and struck him in the face. Suddenly Sesshomaru changed into his demon for. The battle continued.

Rin, startled by Sesshomaru's transformation, ran and hid behind Kagome. Kagome turned around to see Rin standing beside her. "It's okay," Kagome said.

"I know. Sorry for disturbing you Kagome," Rin answered stepping away.

There was a load noise and the ground shook as Sesshomaru fell onto the ground. He jumped up and continued to battle. Rin lost her balance at the sudden, violent, movement of the Earth. Kagome turned around and saw Rin on the ground. She went to help her up.

"I know what will make you feel less nervous about the battle," Kagome said, "Let mew tell you of Christmas." As Inuyasha and Sesshomaru fought, Kagome told Rin about Christmas.

The battle ended and neither Inuyasha nor Sesshomaru were victorious. They both lay on the ground with severe wounds and could hardly move.

"Thank you, Kagome for telling me of Christmas. I wish to celebrate it with you," Rin said before she bounded off to help Sesshomaru. Kagome and Shippo ran towards Inuyasha.

They helped him up and moved him away from the site of the battle and let him rest in some soft green grass. Sesshomaru was limping off with Jaken following him and Rin at his side telling him everything about Christmas.

"There' a tree that you decorate and gifts and food and Santa and someone named Jesus and lots lots more!" Rin told him, "I would enjoy celebrating it with Kagome."

"Humph"

"Actually, master if you don't mind me saying, it sounds nice." Jaken said.

"I do not believe in celebrating a useless thing. All I care for now is destroying Inuyasha. That half-demon."
