Chapter 4

An Unseen Threat

 

He watched from the shadows as the small family entered their small home, after a while he fell into her dreams and a short time later found himself back where he had fallen.

 

“Kagome is home, yet there is no baby. Then, the baby is coming soon. I don't know if I can wait that long.”

 

He sat back and concentrated. He had entered her dreams many times from his prison cell. He had tried to control her, but found it next to impossible. He did however, find her greatest fear and with any luck he was going to exploit it- very soon.

 

He had turned from the Taisho home and left, he would be back later. There was something he had to do. He had to arrange everything. He stopped. `I think I'll send a proposition to Sesshomaru, and then he himself can arrange his brothers and his mate's demise.' He smiled and shook his head.

 

“I just got out of prison after five years.” He said to himself. “I need a- release from my frustration and pent up energy.”

She sat outside the temple, watching the sky waiting for the rain. She had done this every night for the past week. She could feel him watching her from a distance, but could never pinpoint his location. She closed her eyes and laid her head back on her shoulders and sighed.

 

`He intends to kill me. He intends to us me to get to her. InuYasha will never fall for it.'

 

She opened her eyes as she felt the wetness of the first raindrop land on her cheek. As she raised her head, she touched her cheek with the tip of her fingers. She looked up at the sky one last time.

 

`InuYasha is happy. I was responsible for her near demise for my foolishness. No, I won't be used for Naraku's plans again.'

 

“Lady Kikyo!”

Kikyo tuned from the sky to meet the gaze of a little girl.

 

“What is it Seiko?”

 

“Its raining, you don't want to catch cold!”

 

“Kikyo smiled and nodded. She looked over her shoulder as she walked into the house. She could feel him watching her, and she was going to make sure he knew she wasn't scared.

Naraku watched from a distance. Kikyo had been his intended victim for that evening; instead as he watched her, a plan was further developed. He felt himself go hard as he watched her lean her head back and wait for the rain to fall. An evil smirk went across his face as he watched her. No. She wasn't the one for him tonight. He had a use for her other than pleasure. Besides, it had been a while since he had last seen Kikyo and was unsure of how strong her Miko powers had become. Nonetheless, he would bind them. For without the Shikon no Tama, Kikyo's powers were nothing in comparison to Kagome's. As Kikyo turned from the doorway and looked towards his hiding place, he became very aware of how tight his pants had become. He waited for her to go into the house before he moved. As he strolled down the street he watched as a girl waved to her friends and began walking alone.

 

“Finally.” He said with an evil grin.

InuYasha sat back in his chair and stared at the little boy who resembled him curled up in his mothers arms. He couldn't help but smile. He had always known Kagome would be a great mother. He always wanted to the father of her pups and now, he was proud of his children. His son was strong and healthy and from what he could smell his daughter would be also. Everything was perfect, nothing could be wrong. Well, except for Naraku. The only threat was the one thing he couldn't find. The most dangerous person that could take away everything that he had come to love and need was still out there. Sure the police were following every lead, but her knew that it would be a matter of time before Naraku tried something. He knew where they lived and the only reason he hadn't attacked them so far was because he was planning something.

 

“I can feel it.”

Sesshomaru sat at his desk going over the last lead on Naraku. He hadn't involved InuYasha in the search, mostly because of Kagome. He needed to be with her. He knew what Naraku was capable of and from what he gathered Kagome and InuYasha knew all too well what he could do by manipulating their minds.

 

“He will come. I can feel it.”

 

“Sesshomaru?”

 

“Kagura? What are you doing up?”

 

“I was wondering the same thing and then I turned to my husband only to find that he was missing.”

 

“I see.”

 

“Are you still working on those leads?”

 

“The last one and it proved nothing.”

 

“Don't worry, he will show his ugly face soon. I can sense it.”

 

“That is what I fear he will do, when we least expect it.”

“PLEASE! NO!”

 

He didn't listen as he ripped away her clothes. He gazed at he with hungry and evil eyes. She felt him take his hands and run them down her neck to her breast where he circled her nipple.

 

“STOP! NO!”

 

“SILENCE!” He said as he punched her into the ground, leaving the girl dazed. He lowered his head to her face and hovered above her mouth for a moment before taking her lips in a sadistic kiss.

 

She felt her head hit the ground as he punched. She felt darkness come to sweep her away. Before it could though, she felt his had turn her head towards him. Before she knew what was happening, she could taste her own blood as he bit down on her lips, forcing her to open them. She began to cough as her blood began to choke her. Her attacker rose up and slapped her across the face. She then felt him shift and she closed her eyes. He then attacked her breasts unmercifully as his hands fondled her folds.

 

He smiled as the girls body began to comply with his actions. It had been so long since the last girl- he didn't want this to end for a long time. He felt the need to fuck her and then when he was done, he'd kill her and fuck her again. `Maybe.'

 

She felt his weight shift as he lifted up off her. She didn't open her eyes until she heard something rustling. This caused her to become curious and she cracked her eyes open.

 

`He's taking off his clothes? Why didn't I stay? I'm going to die!'

 

Before she knew it, Naraku was back over her again. Holding her hands above her head, he looked in to her eyes. She felt his head at her opening and in a flash she felt her innocence being ripped away.

 

“You're a virgin.” He grinned sadistically. “Or you were.”

 

The girl only wept loudly.

 

“Shut up and ride with me. IF you do I may let you live.”

 

The girl beneath him sat perfectly still, which only served to anger him further. He began to pound his hard member into her mercilessly. She whimpered as she began to ride with him, hoping to alleviate the pain he was causing her. But to no avail, she felt herself tear and bleed. Her thighs were sticky with her blood and her own juices. She felt faint as he climaxed, spilling his seed within her and fell on top of her.

 

“You were good.” He said as he made her look into his eyes. “Once you learned how to ride with me, it made it all the better.”

 

The girl sat still, with tears falling from her tightly closed eyes.

 

“What is your name?”

 

“Why? Just kill me and get it over with.”

 

“Why would I do that?”

 

“….” The girl had a puzzled look on her face as she met his amber gaze. “Aren't you?”

 

“No, just remember that I, InuYasha was your first.” With that, he removed his member from the girl's core, stood and dressed. The girl watched as he raised his fist ands as he brought it down on her face hard. The last thing that she saw was his white hair and dog-like ears before darkness engulfed her mind and she fell lifelessly into unconsciousness.
