"Kagome how are you-?" Inuyasha begins to say but is to confused to finish. "You can't harm me you foolish girl! wakasashi!" Kikyo throws the monsterous fan toward Kagome. "BLADE OF DESPAIR!! Kagome pulls out a giant piercing blade from behind her. "Leave us!" Kagome swings the blade only once and kikyo begins to fade. "I'll be back! and Inuyasha will be mine! we shall live in hell together for eternities!" Kikyo says then fades. Suddenly something snaps inside of Inuyasha all the anger he built up is ready to be realeased but only on the wrong person... "no!" Inuyasha screams he looks up at Kagome his eyes a crimson red. "How dare you.." Inuyasha turns into a full demon and begins walking toward Kagome. Kagome wimpers then backs away. "No! Inuyasha what are you doing!" Miroku runs towards him.
Inuyasha reaches out his claw and hits Kagome in the face with it leaving marks. She falls to the ground knocked out. Inuyasha tries to strike her once again but Kirara jumps in between Kagome and Inuyasha and hisses at Inuyasha "Open your eyes!" Miroku screams. this somehow makes him go back to his original half demon self. "huh....KAGOME?" Inuyasha reaches out to her but Kirara hisses once again. "Kirara what did I-" Inuyasha begins to say but is interupted. "we'll tell you when we get back to the village i need to dress Kagome's wounds as soon as possible." Sango says.
The Next morning Sango walks out of the hut. "Is she alright?" Inuyasha asks. "yes, she fell asleep" sango tells him "What..What happened Sango?" Inuyasha asks. "You..attacked her...after she made Kikyo vanish you showed anger and resentment toward Kagome and then you just attacked. Luckily Kirara jumped in front of her before you killed her..." Inuyasha looks up in shock and trembles. "I..tried to kill..Kagome??" he asks "yes...and you would have succeeded if it wasnt for Kirara...maybe you should see how she is doing.." Miroku tells Inuyasha.
Inuyasha walks into the hut. Kagome is laying on the cot sound asleep. *I tried to kill Kagome..when she saved my life...?* Inuyasha then spots the three claw marks ingroven in Kagomes cheek. "Kagome?" Kagome opens her eyes and looks at Inuyasha blanklessly. "I...I'm so sorry.. please forgive me." He says she continues to stare at him and not say a word. *Why is she looking at me like that?* He thinks to himself. then he says his goodbyes because he can tell that Kagome does not want to have anything to do with him right now and walks out of the hut.
A couple hours later Kagome walks out of the hut. *I can't keep hiding my secret from everyone I must tell...someone* "Sango can I talk to you?" Kagome says. Sango nods. "Lets go sit by the spring." Kagome says. Inuyasha and Miroku are eager to know what they're talking about so they go and spy on them from the bushes.
"How are your wounds..?" Asks Sango "better..." Kagome says softly. *I have to tell her...someone has to know..either her or Inuyasha himself but I couldn't go through with telling Inuyasha to his face..I have no choice but to tell Sango..* Kagome thinks to herself "So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?" Sango asks. "Sango.....you know how Inuyasha almost killed me...well that doesnt matter to me if he was doing it to protect Kikyo..then...it's alright because I want him to be happy..even if it does allow me to sacrifice my own life or for me to fight to my last breath..I have been thinking about this for a while and i needed to tell someone.." Inuyasha looks at Kagome through the bushes and thinks. *No...Kagome...don't give up everything just to make me happy....*
Sango looks at Kagome puzzled. "well..what i am trying to say is...I..I'm in love with Inuyasha. Its not a crush its not lust...I love him..more then anything that this world has to offer for me...and if my life...has to be tooken just to make him happy then so be it.." Sango begins to cry. "Kagome..what are you saying?" Sango asks "I'm saying...Good-bye....a little more earlier then i expected.." Inuyasha and Miroku both gasp. *what does she mean...she cant be..no...she isn't going to sacrifice her life...for me...just so I can be happy is she?..* Inuyasha thinks but then shakes his head knowing it can't be true could it?.
Kagome looks at Sango. "If he's happier with Kikyo...then I'm happy for him..." Kagome says smiling sadly. "Kagome...no matter how much you say it isn't true or no matter how much Inuyasha says it isn't true, he cares for you more then you will every know. We all know he does.He risks everything just to save you." Sango tells Kagome. "He only saves me because i remind him of-" Kagome begins. "NO! Kagome you are your own person NOT Kikyo. Inuyasha cares for you because your kind, gentle and you treat people..all people like they matter no matter how much they think they don't or no matter how much they despise the world." Sango says. "He told me- that before he met me he never trusted anyone..." Kagome says. "See.. you are who you are Kagome...now lets get back to the village and go eat.This will be our little secret kay?" Sango says. "k..." Kagome replies. and they walk back to the village.
Inuyasha and Miroku sit in the bushes still shocked.."wow..." Mirokus says breaking the silence "I've had feelings for Kagome ever since i met her Inuyasha..." Miroku says. "Hm??!" Inuyasha looks at Miroku his vein poping out of his forehead. "So since you have no feelings for her what so ever. Can i ask her to bare my children??" Miroku asks smiling sheepishly. Inuyasha stares at him wide eyed. "What are you..nuts?!?!" He yells wide eyed. Miroku laughs a little "god cant you take a joke??" Miroku says. "hm..If I didn't know any better i'd say your jealous of anyone who wants Kagome..like Koga for instance?" Miroku says "NO! I don't get jealous over maingy wolves like him!" Inuyasha yells. "okay...whatever you say" Miroku says quietly "but my heart does ache for Kagome. She risked everything to save your life and yet you still put Kikyo before her." Miroku says. Inuyasha trembles. "I'm such an Idiot!" He says. Miroku looks at Inuyasha. "Inuyasha i'm not trying to get on your bad side but i would rather see Koga with her then see her dead.." Inuyasha hits Miroku in the head. " I would never try kill Kagome! I'd stop myself before that and I would never let that maingy wolf have her either!"

"Inuyasha you tried to kill the poor girl let her cool down." Sango tells him "grr I already said sorry.What do you expect me to do?!? gravel and beg for your forgivness?!?" Inuyasha yells at Kagome and she ignores him once again. This time it gets Inuyasha really pissed. "Fine Kagome! the next time you get into trouble dont scream for me because I won't be there i'll just leave you there to die!" He screams This puts all eyes on Inuyasha. "SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT!!!" Kagome says over and over. She begins to cry and leave the hut as Inuyasha lands face first in the ground.
