"It's a trap steer clear!" Sango tells Inuyasha. "Got it!" He runs to Kagome and lifts her up gentley. She wimpers. "Kagome?" Inuyasha says softly. "Inuyasha leave its a trap...leave me....its...my fate..." Inuyasha trembles and looks deep into Kagome's eyes as if he were peering into her very soul. Then he grabs her hand and locks his fingers with hers gentely "no Kagome! I can save you! I promised to protect you! "Inuyasha I.." Tears stream down Kagome's face. "Isn't that what you promised me to Inuyasha...Don't you remember that day...When Naraku wanted to kill me. You told me that you can only protect me." Says the voice behind him "That voice...Kikyo?" he says. "Thats right... You promised to protect me and you will go through with it because Kagome is going to die!" Kikyo says. "No!" Inuyasha stands up quickly.
Suddenly a white ora appears around Kagomes body and she screams in pain. The ora soon disappears and it heads toward Kikyo. "What are you doing to her?!" Inuyasha says. Then he turns around to look at Kagome. Kagomes body lays mangled on the ground motionless with no life in it what so ever. "Her soul is one with mine.I'm finally alive again!" Kikyo walks toward Inuyasha. "And now we can finally be together she tries to touch him but he moves away quickly. "Wheres Kagome?" inuyasha questions. Kikyo grins " Does that girl mean more to you then I?"Kikyo says. "Where is KAGOME!" He shouts with his anger building up. "She's inside of me. her soul is one with me!" Kikyo screams. "NO!" Inuyasha yells angerly and pulls out teutsiaga. "what are you doing Inuyasha. I'm dead and even if I weren't are you saying you'd strike the one you love? Your mine now Inuyasha I saved your life.You can do nothing but repay me.." He puts his sword away and stares at the ground disapointed in himself knowing Kikyo is right. Kikyo laughs.
" I want you to repay me with this. I'll have Kagome's soul. And you and I will be together once again." She tells Inuyasha "No...." Inuyasha says softly. "What?" kikyo says. " I said no...I should be repaying you with my own life. you will NOT have Kagome's soul!" Inuyasha says strongly. "Help me Inuyasha!" Kagome says through Kikyo. "Shut up!" Kikyo screams. "Please help me Inuyasha!"Kagome says once again. "Time to Die Inuyasha!" Kikyo says. "NO!" Kagome shouts through kikyo. The white ora surounds kikyo and then it releases from inside her and goes toward Kagome's lifeless body.Kagome opens her eyes up once again and looks around. "Die Inuyasha!" Kikyo shouts "Wakashashi!" Kikyo screams. Three monsterious blades come out of a metal fan and Kikyo throws them at Inuyasha quickly. It slices open Inuyasha chest. "Ahh!" Inuyasha yells painfully. "no...inuyasha.." Kagome says softly and stands up not completely on balance. When she finally gets her balance back she looks at Kikyo. Kikyo pulls out her bow and is ready to use the sacred arrow on Inuyasha to finish him off once and for all. Kagome reaches out towards the arrow and releases a strange golden ora through her hand. this stops the arrow and makes it fall to the ground powerless. "How can you be so powerful..I do not have this power" Kikyo says to Kagome. "Thats because you are NOT me!" Kagome says. "Hiya!!" this time a red ora surrounds Kagome. "huh? Kagome?" Inuyasha says confused. Inuyasha Sango and Miroku all stare at the strange ora surrounding Kagome. Kikyo lifts her bow and shoots an arrow at the ora but her attack reflects and goes back to her. "What the hell?" Inuyasha and the others say confused.
The red ora finally disappears and Kagome appears. but it does not look like her. Her long black hair is pulled back into a messy ponytail designed so that whisps of hair fan out in every direction and the long wavy strands hung to the base of her neck. It hassilver-white streaks in it. Tiny braids criss-crossed over her scalp and disappeared into the ponytail. And her eyes that used to be a soft chocolate brown are now different her left eye is a silver the same color as Inuyasha's hair. And her right eye is a light blue. She is wearing a red bandana that ties underneath the ponytail and the whisps of hair fan out from it. A pair of jean shorts and a red shirt. "You will not harm Inuyasha Kikyo! he doesn't owe you anything! you both betrayed each other you went after him to kill him! but you did not succeed.You didn't die because of Inuyasha. you died because of Naraku!" Kagome says. "Damn, she really has changed!" Miroku drools. Sango slaps him upside the head "this isnt any time to be joking around!" Sango yells. Kikyo looks at Kagome and laughs.
