A:N/ Ok, there's my next chapter. Told you I'd get another one on by Monday. ^.~

Yea, yea, yea....I do not own InuYasha.

*~~~~&~~~~*

InuYasha sighed. "Fine, be that way. Just because you are a GIRL!!!"

For the rest of the day now, Kagome had been ignoring InuYasha to talk to Sango, Miroku and Shippo.

"InuYasha, don't you have a family to attend to?" Sango asked from the dinner she was making.

The half demon growled and walked out of the hut. Leaving a confused Kagome sitting in the far corner of the cabin.

Miroku sighed and looked at Kagome. "Lady Kagome ther-"
"Just call me Kagome." She insisted.
"Ok. Kagome there is something you must know," He told her.
"And what would that be, Miroku?"
"Well, since you've been gone InuYasha hasn't been himself. To tell you the truth, I think it's because of you. Kagome, why did you leave?"

She didn't speak for a moment, looking away she sighed. "I thought that if I stayed here, there wouldn't be any use for me. That I'd have no business being here anymore. And I know I left without telling anyone and left even before the jewel was complete. I knew InuYasha still loved Kikyo and she inreturn did love him also. So if I left, Kikyo would have time to spend with InuYasha, since I didn't belong here, yet she did," Kagome looked at her two best friends.

"So you thought that InuYasha would be happy without you?" Sango laughed.
Kagome nodded.
"Are you kidding? InuYasha's been so miserable without you here," Miroku said.

Sango continued, "The only reason we won the battle with Naraku because InuYasha thought that if he defeated Naraku that it'll bring you back to him,"
"But it didn't..." Miroku sighed.

"Oh, I'm so sorry everyone."
"It's ok, Kagome. We knew how you felt. After being compared to Kikyo for the hundreth time, you had the right to leave," Sango smiled.
"Yea, and InuYasha deserved it, but a year after you left. InuYasha married Kikyo. They now have two children, they're both humans, to InuYasha's discomfort," Miroku sighed once again.
"Human?" Kagome asked.
Sango nodded. "Yes, I guess they only make love when InuYasha's in human form,"
Kagome shook her head slowly. "That's so sad, she still doesn't accept him in his half demon form..."

*~~~~Kikyo and InuYasha~~~~*

InuYasha groaned as he walked into the cabin door. He sat down and leaned against one of the walls.

"So your going on the mission tomorrow with that waste-of-a-life girl, are you?" Kikyo asked while putting some wood onto the fire.
"Yea, I'll be back soon. I promise," He said staring into the fire.
"InuYasha? Do you still love the girl more than I?" Kikyo glanced at him.

InuYasha looked at her with glassed over eyes. "Kikyo, I'm not going to lie to you, I'd never lie to you. Kikyo, I do love Kagome more. I didn't see it before, but now I do. It was under my nose the whole time. Hell, I probably couldn't see it if it hit me right in the forehead,"

She growled. "I can't believe you?! If you love her so much then why don't you leave?! Go! Go tell her how much she means to you!"

InuYasha smiled. "I think I will,"
Kikyo laughed. "I bet she doesn't love you anymore,"
InuYasha stood up and faced the door. "I'd have a better chance with her than you. you don't even love me for who I really am," He soon walked out the door leaving a speechless Kikyo behind.

*~~~~Kagome and the gang~~~~*

Kagome stood up. "I'm going to the hot springs. I'll be right back in a bit." She grabbed her bag and walked out the door.

Sango sighed. "They're just as hard headed as before,"
Miroku laughed and hugged her from behind.

Kagome found the hot spring after a few minutes and quickly dived inside. She moaned as the frustration, stress and anger left her. Closing her eyes, she remebered when she first left this place and voweled to never come back. And here she was, back to the place that left her mind, her thoughts and memories.

She sighed and leaned her head against a rock, until a rumbling of bushes broke her concentration. She turned around to face the bushes. "Who's there?"

InuYasha slowly stepped out of the bushes and stared at Kagome. "I'm sorry for earlier today, Kagome,"

Kagome swam closer to him from the water. "It's ok. Sango and Miroku told me that you're married to Kikyo now. Is that true?"

InuYasha growled. "I was, until ealier tonight."
"Oh, I see. I'm so sorry InuYasha, she didn't even love you for who you really are," She whispered.
InuYasha looked into her eyes. "Yea, I wasted six years of my life on that bitch."
She laughed. "Your a demon, six years isn't a long time to you, but I'm a human and six years can mean a lot."

There was a long silence before Kagome broke it. "InuYasha, come here." She commanded.

His crocked his head to the side. "Why?"
"Just do it."
He sighed and moved closer to her. They where about an inch apart.
Kagome smiled and leaned up to kiss him. There lips met in a soft yet quick kiss.
InuYasha lost his balance and he fell into the water.
InuYasha ran his hands through her hair and licked her bottom lip, asking for an enterance. She smiled and opened her mouth and he slide his tongue inside. The kiss was passionate yet hungry.

After what seemed like forever, they broke the kissed and Kagome looked up at InuYasha. "How was that?" She asked.
He smiled and pulled her into another kiss.
