"Shippo? What wrong?" Kagome stood in her normal position.

"Well, uh, there's this new bad guy. Her name is Kikaru, she's so much worse than Naraku, she doesn't only want to be ruler of the world, she wants to rule all time zones. The past, present and future. Kagome, if you go back now there's no way you'll defeat her in the future," Shippo cried.

Kagome thought for the longest time. Shippo looked up at Kagome. "Kagome, I think she knows who you are...." He whispered.

*~~Somewhere......~~*

A laughter echoed down the silent halls in a mansion long forgotten to Japan. The laughter came from a room, a dark and silent room. The room had no furniture, carpet or fire place. The only things in the room was a small round table and cobwebs.

In the shadows of a corner stood a woman no older than 30. Her eyes where a deep purple. Her midnight black (purple in the sunlight) hair reached to her shoulder blades, her skin was fair enough to be lightly tanned and pail.

Her outfit was unique it wasn't a kimono or a slayer out fit. It was a black dress that covered a bit of the floor and it's sleeve reached to her knees. The middle hugged her waist and had a hole in it to show her belly button. Her make-up was very light, light purple eyeshadow was all it took.

She glimpsed at the glass ball on the table and smiled. "Patience, Kagome Higurashi. I will kill you soon enough. Just you wait and see." And again laughter filled the halls.

Kagome laughed. "Yea, well then if she wants to kill me, then I'm ready for her."

Shippo smiled and looked over Kagome's shoulder to see InuYasha, who didn't look to happy.

'You are so dead.' InuYasha mouthed to Shippo.

The poor little fox child tensed and bite his lower lip. 'Uh oh, I'm dead...'

Kagome put Shippo down and put her hands on her hips. "Well then, let's get this over with," She sighed and pulled some of her hair out of her face.

InuYasha glanced at her. "Get what over with?"

"The mission, duh!" Kagome shrugged.

"Do we have to go now?!" InuYasha wined.

"Any other time you'd be right on it. What? Ya loosing your touch there, InuYasha?" She smirked.

He growled and looked away. "No, I just thought that we'd use a rest for one night then leave in the morning."

"You don't have to go if you don't want to."

"I'm going with you. I don't want you to scream like a little girl and die." He crossed his arms over his chest.

"Are you calling me a girl?" They where face-to-face now.

"Yea, what are you going to do about it?"

Kagome scowled and tackled InuYasha to the ground without second thought. "Take that back!"

"No!" InuYasha was laughing under her as she tried to hit him but he kept her hands from his face.

"Take it back!" Her body moved above his and she kneed him in the forbidden spot.

With a painful yell, InuYasha let go of Kagome's hands and curled into a ball.

She got off of him and headed back to Sango's cabin.

InuYasha quickly got up which didn't really help him. "Kagome?!"

"Hmph!" She crossed her arms and didn't look back.

"Kagome!" InuYasha ran after her.
