Chapter8A full day

AN: Well I know,my last chapter was a little...well,let's

just say strange,but that's life.

Kagome stared at him in disbelief.He hadn't asked what was wrong, hadn't interogated her, hadn't showed his pity or disgust for her.He had seen it, or felt it she was sure, but he hadn't acted upon it. Kagome was sad, why didn't he care ?She knew she was just a stranger , but even so others would have at least asked her about it. Why didn't he? Her thoughts were very soon forgotten as he kept on tickling her.Oh when I get up he is

so dead, she thought to herself.

Sesshoumaru just kept on tickling her. He had again seen sadness on her face, and he just hoped that one day she would

understand , why , he hadn't asked. He was curious, very curious,

but she wasn't ready.He shouldn't have to question, she should

have to talk .Then he saw something else . Oh how nice her spirit is returning.Yeah ,very nice indeed Sesshoumaru, who is going to save you now?

Just then the bathroom door opened and a wet Shippou, wrapped

only in a towel came into the room.

"Oh you changed positions. Anyway , what is Sesshoumaru here

for exactly?" he asked in a sweet voice.

Sesshoumru decided he would berate the kid later for his rudeness and play along .

"If you would get dressed, we could finally go into town and

buy everything we need for the decoration of your room?"

Shippou only stood there and looked at him like he was some

kind of alien.

"He is right Shippou, please go change."Kagome said.

This time Shippou nodded happyly and ran out of the room.

Sesshoumaru looked at Kagome like now she was the alien.

Kagome just looked back and suddenly began to laugh desperatly.

Now Sesshoumaru was even more confused.

"You should, see your face, you looked like a little kid who

the theories of Einstein were explained to. You looked really

cute, like a lost puppy!"

Sesshoumaru glared at her. Cute? He was called many things by women but `cute`?It was prepostorous, ironical and even, even,now he began to laugh slightly, hilarious.

Now it was Kagomes time to be confused. Her opponent was laughing.Not pompous ,or even chirping laugh . No, his laugh

was deep, smooth and melodious, like his voice.Somehow his

laugh made Kagome feel warm inside.Happy. Lightheaded.

How could his laugh do this to her?

She stared at him and looked back noticing it.

Kagome had never realised how handsome or perfect he really

was.Soft milky skin, redlike lips, golden eyes, silver hair .Each one of these words paled before him. None of them were telling

the truth and yet none of them lied.His cheeks were a little flushed , his lips still curled into a smile, his eyes still amused.

Now she knew why she hadn't noted his perfection before.

This was missing. His happyness. His manners, his voice, his actions, all of them let her know he didn't feel this often, maybe

never. Strange thoughts crossed her mind. I don't pitty him.

I want to make him smile , make him happy.

Sesshoumaru looked at her.It was a long time since he had laughed.He only laughed with his adopted sister ,Rin.She was

very amusing. But Kagome?He looked at her again. No, no pitty,

no regret. I'm not mad about showing her, he thought, I'm not mad that she managed to destroy my mask a second time.

His gaze lingered on her face .Creamy skin,blue eyes, pink lips,

ebony hair.Beautiful.No. Perfect.No. What is this, why does every word I think of flatter her but yet not suite her? Why?

Their eyes locked, like the night before.Slowly ,as not to scare

her Sesshoumaru bent down.His lips were right above hers, not

touching only their warm breath mingling.Chills and paths of fire

made their way through their bodies, putting heated veils over their minds.His lips were gradually aproaching hers when a

"I'm ready" echoed through the room.Sesshoumaru and Kagome

continued to stare at eachother until the words reached their clouded minds. When they did all hell broke loose.

He was about to kiss me and I was about to let him .

I was about to kiss her and she was about to let me.

Sesshoumaru smirked down at her before guiding his lips to her

ear.

"We'll continue later" he whispered as his lips playfully brushed her ear.He felt her shudder and his smirk widened.

"Get off!"she hissed at him, desperatly trying to control her heartbeat.

Shippou just watched them cautiosly.He could tell they liked each other so why the ridiculous fight.

Three hours later ,Sesshoumaru was still in a shop with Shippou and Kagome.Did he say his friends girlfriends were bad , this kid was probably a medall winner.They had spent one hour buying paint and furniture having it delivered to Kagome's appartment so that the room was ready painted when they got

there.Kagome wanted to paint herself but deciding Shippou really needed his room she let the workers do it.They promised

the room would be ready with furniture and all.This only remained valid if this little all-day shopper here would finally pick a fucking matress.But he still hopped around on each one

he saw.He glanced over at Kagome.She was a little bored as well but she seemed to just forget about it while watching the

happily bouncing.That's it if he keeps this up we'll still be here

next week, with a neck enjury because of the following of his

hopping.

Slowly Sesshoumaru walked to him and mentioned him to come closer.

"Ok, if you could just pick a matress we could go back home and then you could bounce on it there."he told him flatly.

Shippou gave him a look that clearly said `Do I look stupid to

you?`.Sesshoumaru sighed and then added :

"Did I mention we would stop at the ice-cream parlor to buy some icecream?"

Kagome looked like hit by a truck as she watched as her little

friend finally picked a matress after ahving a talk with the

`perfect-looking egitistical jerk`.This was the new name for

`Sesshoumaru`.After she paid for it they all got out of the store.

Kagome watched slightly amused as Sesshoumaru and Shippou

entered the ice-cream parlor and came back out later with a big

box of ice-cream.She sent a questioning look to Sesshoumaru who shrugged and answered her with one of his `don't ask` looks.

After they finally managed to get to Kagome's appartement, it was already dinner time.Kagome wanted to get a bath so she

walked to Sesshoumaru and made a loveable puppy-dog face.

Sesshoumru looked at her and raised an elegant eyebrow.

"Well, I want to take a bath so someone needs to watch Shippou.

His matress will only be delivered tomorrow, so he can't go to

sleep and he also needs to eat, so order some food."She was

already walking to the bathroom when she send him a pleading

"Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase" over her shoulder.

"You have fourty minutes."he told her, totaly unimpressed by her look .

Sending him a bright smile she disappeared into the bathroom.

Sighing Sesshoumaru made his way to the phone, calling an

italian restaurant.

Next chapter, a little fluff.Tell me if you want them to share a light kiss or not.Warning:not french kiss, just kiss!
