Chapter7Past interfering with the present

AN:Thanks for the great reviews,I love them.

I know the characters are a little Ooc, but I just wanted to give them a personal touch.

Kagome glared at him over the table.Oh she was definetly

pissed.

"Run."It was nothing more than a whisper,but he still heard it.Well I didn't play tag for a while,Sesshoumaru

thought to himself before running off.Kagome instantly got up after him.

Shipou stared at them for the seventh time.They had ran

after one another for what, ten, fifteen minutes, and they

still didn't get one another.Somebody should win soon,

he was getting really tired of following them.

Sesshoumaru had enough.Just let her catch me, I think I just ran three miles around here.

This is how Kagome finally managed to tackle him to the ground.

This was definetly too easy, he let me catch him, well his

problem.Kagome shrugged.A wicked plan formed in her

mind, and a slow smirk appeared on her flushed face .

Sesshoumaru saw this and instantly, a thought crossed his

mind.Maybe I should have used the opportunity to train

for a maraton.She looks bound to kill. Shit, I think I just

saw the light at the end of the tunnel!

"Scared?"Kagome inquired sweetly.

"Should I be?"he answered back.

That's when Kagome began to tickle him.

Again Shippou wandered how long this could actually take.Kagome was laughing at Sesshoumaru, who was

scuirming under her , telling her to stop.This was really

childish.He sighed and went away, wanting to take a bath.

"Stop, stop!"Seshoumaru cried.All the laughter made his

stomach ake.Kagome stopped a little letting him take a

breath.

"Oh, you're giving up already.No fun!" she pouted.

"Well I'm not as experienced with tickling as you are."

he told her.

Instantly he felt her stiffen above him.He looked at

her puzzled.What happened?Why did the playfull and

happy girl above him suddenly change?He remembered.

She had done this last time as well.She was calm and

smiling and then she became dull.She had lost that sparkle in her eyes, which showed everybody how alive

she was.Again?why now?..as experienced as you...His own words instantly popped into his mind.He raised his

eyes to her, and felt how something inside was ripped apart.Stone.Her eyes were like stone.Lifeless, dull, but still

unbreakable.

...as experienced as you...His words echoed in her mind.

Images flashed before her eyes.She didn't want to see them, wanted to close her eyes, but she couldn't .Pain

pierced through her soul. Why, she had already lost

her heart, why her soul, the only thing which kept her?

Grief washed over her, drowning her. She wanted to

go, wanted to forget. She closed her eyes tightly, hoping,

it would go away, leave her alone.

Sesshoumaru watched as she shut her eyes,like in fear

of something.She wasn't ready to talk , he felt that . He did the only thing, he could think of. He would probably

die for it but she would forget.

Suddenly Kagome was on her back and was beeing tickled.She gasped and opened her eyes, but instead of

seeing her past she saw the present.

This chapter is a little short,but I really think it's better this way.
