Chapter24 Decisions

And please check out my new story, anyway this chapter is a little sad , at least for me so...

Shippou and Rin giggled madly , watching the two sleeping `grownups` snuggling together on the couch in Sesshoumaru's office. The two had watched them for at least half an hour and it was truly hilarious watching the cold Sesshoumaru hold Kagome in his arms like she was somekind of little teddybear.

Giggling again though they didn't notice one of Sesshoumaru's eyes opening .

What the heck woke him up? This was the best sleep, except the former night, he had always had and someone was waking him?!

Giggling, yes giggling ,that had been it . Opening up one of his eyes he saw two madly giggling children. They didn't notice him yet.

Ohh, life was fun, and spooking two little innocent children was even more fun.

He just wanted to give them one of his `I'm the ice lord` immitation when he heard someone else say the words for him.

" If you do not want to get killed by either me or Sesshoumaru, I suggest you go to the kitchen so we can follow." Kagome had also woken to see two giggling kids and she had noticed what Sesshoumaru wanted to do, when he had also awakened ,so she just did it for him.

Turning a ghostly shade of white the two children recovered pretty quickly, running out of the room to the kitchen.

Sighing Kagome wanted to get up but again something held her down. Deja vu.

"Sesshoumaru it's almost eight, we have to go eat sometime."she told him tiredly .

Not even answering her, he started to burry his nose into her midnight tresses. Thunderflowers, jasmine, delicious strawberrys.

Mmnn, sweet, very sweet.

What did he think he was doing, he was making thousands of chills run down her spine.

"Sessh, we really need to get up now."

She felt him steadily stop behind her, only to feel one of his hands brush away the hair from her shoulder until her neck was exposed to him.Slowly he started to place sensual kisses on her neck, letting his tongue trace circles on her soft skin.

"Sessh..."she started , but stopped when he began to gently bite down her neck.She was starting to relax, to let herself flow against him, until he pulled up and looked down at her clouded eyes.

Smirking he bent down again and starting kissing the other side of her neck.

"Giving me nicknames?" he whispered huskily to her.

"Hey are you coming?" a pouting voice suddenly asked from the door.

Kagome's heart remained still, weren't people supposed to knock ? But then her heart was even more pleased when she could make out a low chuckle from the face hiding in the crock of her neck.

"What's so funny?" she asked faking a pout.

"Getting catched by a eight year-old."he answered amused.

"Are you two coming or not?" a very serious Rin asked.

Sesshoumaru suddenly got up taking a blushing Kagome with him and walked to the kitchen.

He trusts me.

The sentence kept coming up, echoing thousands of times

in her mind. But she still hated him for making her blush that many times.

They had gotten the children to eat and played games afterwards until the kids were tired and went to bed.

Sesshoumaru still had some work to do so the only thing to do was sleep, but she really couldn't.

Currently , Kagome was lying in bed, looking up at the ceiling of her room and listening to the neverending playback of that one threeworded sentence.

Suddenly the doorknob of her door turned letting an very unpleasant Sesshoumaru pass his step.

He had been in his office since the children had finaly went to bed, thinking about how to make everything work.

Sadly though the only solution his mind came up with was the one he hated most.But then again...I trust her, so nothing like this would ever get inbetween us.

Walking towards her bed he noticed that she sat up and was looking at him with questioning eyes.He didn't see rejection or pitty in her eyes but worry.

She was beautiful. Midnight black hair flowing down her shoulders, red parted lips waiting to speak, soft milky skin showing off shadows of blueish rays of moonlight and ocean deep eyes trusting him .

She was wearing a red shirt with black sports drawings on it.The shirt was probably big even to him, but hey nobody said she was completely sane.

Kagome looked at him startled . She saw emotions in his eyes she had never expected him to show. Worry. Sadness.

These feelings didn't suit him, they made him look old,

worn out.

His amber eyes were tired. But still everything else was perfect.His skin reflecting the warm light of the moon, his lips impressing by the intensity of red, and his silver hair, cascading down his back leisurely.

He was wearing a white shirt and black baggy pants, the contrast granting him a look of total perfection.

Slowly he started to approach her bed until he sat down in front of her, making no move whatsoever to touch her.

"Kagome I have a plan to get over this safely but please don't interrupt me, unless I ask." When he saw her nod he just continued. "We have to get back to the city seeing this problem, do you think you're OK with that?"

Slowly Kagome nodded again. She didn't want to see her father but Sesshoumaru needed her help and she wasn't going to let him down.

"Good. You will buy my companies only through atterneys,

and then we will go to school, pretending we had a big fight and don't stand eachother. I know that the others from the party will ask you why , but we'll only say it didn't work out.We will have to pretend if we don't it would be easier for someone to know who bought my companies and it would make everything much more dangerous for you, and I certainly don't want that..."

He really couldn't say anything more because Kagome was suddenly hugging him to death. Not that he minded. She was straddling his lap and had her hands around his neck.

"Kagome I'm not..." but his words died when Kagome suddenly brought her mouth to his and began to kiss him.

He rapidly took the lead and kissed her breathless, but stopped when she needed air.

Looking at her questioningly he lost himself in her oceanic pools.Kagome only smiled at him and kissed the top of his nose.

"Let's talk about that tomorrow and sleep for now. You won't be able to visit me at night in town after all."

Smiling at her words he pushed her on the bed and took her in his arms.

"You know we won't see eachother for a while, but I want you to also know that I'll miss you."Smiling she snuggled more into the warmth of his body and whispered her deepest fear and yet greatest hope to him.

"I'll miss you too."
