RIGHT AFTER MY "What happened last time" part.

Last time on ISWAD aka "It Started with a Dream"

Mrs. Nagari grabbed the nurse by the arm. "How's my daughter? Any improvement yet? Is she going to be ok?" She asked with teary eyes.

The nurseshook her head no. "I'm sorry, but your daughter hasn't improvedmuch. The doctor doesn't know howlong the coma would last and there is a slight chance that your daughter will… uh… not make it through."The nurse bowed and left.

"Please tell me she didn't mean what I think she meant." Mrs. Nagari asked, her voice was so soft, they could barely hear what she was asking. Mr. Nagari looked at his wife sadly. "I'm afraid it's true." He said back to her.She burst into tears and hugged her husband tightly.

Her Rin might die from the coma.

"W-What is this?" Sango stuttered when she saw the mini Kagome. "Could this be Kagome's daughter?" Sango reached out to touch her face when her hand went through mini Kagome. Sango's eyes widen as she moved her hand through Kagome's body. Carefully, she lifted back up her hand and grabbed it with her other hand. This was NOT happening. Sango panicked a bit as she started walking backwards only to crash into the wall.

Just then Inuyasha happened to enter his room, he didn't notice Sango against the wall in fear and disbelief. Inuyasha walked towards Kagome only to see the blanket was moved around. He was about to reach out and cover her again when a hand came tostop him. Inuyasha's eyes widen as he slowly turned around to see who the person was.

Sango stood there, fear clouded her eyes. She looked like a lost little girl who didn't know what to do anymore.

"Inuyasha, don't go near that-that thing! It isn't Kagome!" Sango said sternly but Inu caught a hint of panic. Inuyasha grabbed his head and sigh, now what the fuck was he supposed to do now?

Chapter 13 (This is the fourteenth chapter if you count the prologue as one =P

The day began chilly as the wind blew a bit harsh. The sound of crunching leaves was heard as someone walked along the sidewalk. He looked up towards the sky, and sighed. `It looks like something bad is about to happen.' He thought sadly as he continued walking.

He couldn't believe What happened a few nights ago. He tried not to believe it but he knew it was true…. Kouga thought he had forgotten all these years…

Kouga stopped and looked around. He also couldn't believe what happened at Rin's party. He just couldn't believe it. "She's probably dieing in the hospital." He said softy. (I bet you guys almost forgot about him right?)

"I was always kind hearted. What do you mean?"

<Hehe… believe in whatever you like to believe.>

"YOU believe whatever YOU what to believe." He yelled back.

<Ok, I will. I believe that you don't deserve to live anymore.>

"Ah shut up! What do you know anyways?" Kouga snapped.

"Ah shut the FUCK UP!!! Leave me alone. I need to think." He replied coldly.

<Whatever Kouga, but it's not nice to pretend to be nice> His conscience replied.

"Man… I think something it really wrong with me." Kouga said as he walked off. "I'm having a hard time believing myself." He mumbled.

Kouga didn't know that his prediction was going to come true…

Sesshoumaru sat beside the bed as he stared helplessly at his girlfriend's face. She was so pale and looked so fragile. A slow beeping sound was heard in the silent room. Sess stared at the heart monitor and saw that it was going on a normal pace. He sigh softy as he turned his gaze back to his girlfriend.

What did Rin ever do to deserve something like this? She was just the sweet innocent happy-go-lucky girl. She was so full of energy when she was still conscious but now… `She looks so lifeless.' He thought sorrowfully. He really wanted to rip out the machinery and wires that was on Rin. To him, it looked more like it was sucking the life out of her instead of making her better.

He grabbed her hand with his and petted it. It was cold. He didn't know what to do with himself anymore. When the nurse had said that Rin had a chance of dieing while in the coma, Mrs. Nagari had fainted. When the nurse had returned, Sesshoumaru asked how high the chances are of her dieing in the coma. The nurse smiled and said it was a low chance. No more then 20% chance of her dieing.

He breathed in an air of relief. Knowing that the rates of her dieing were low, he felt slightly better. All he could hope for was wait till she wakes up.

If she wakes up. Said a nagging voice in Sesshoumaru's mind. Sess growled. Rin was going to be ok. `Even the nurses said she was going to be ok, she was just telling us she has a CHANCE of dieing, not that she WAS going to die.' He thought.

"The rates were too low for her to die anyways. Besides, she still hasn't done much in life. No one can take her away just yet." He answered to himself and he felt himself calm down a bit. He relaxed on the chair and closed his eyes, still holding onto Rin's hand.

"What can I do to help you Rin?" He asked quietly as me lower his head down towards the bed. Laying his head on the bed he sighed. If anyone saw this, they would have either agreed with him or just said that he was pathetic. It was as if he had no will to live anymore.

Suddenly his head snapped back up. He looked at the heart monitor to see a straight line on it. The sound of the heart monitor going flat made the insides on Sesshoumaru freeze with a bitter numbness that had washed over him.

The nurse and the Nagari family rushed in when they heard the sound of the heart monitor going flat.

"Oh my god!" The nurse said as she quickly went out and yelled for the doctor and any nurse nearby to come immediately and reached down to get her pager. Sesshoumaru and Rin's parents were shooed out when the doctor and a few nurses ran into the room.

Mrs. Nagari had once again fainted and Mr. Nagari felt weak and numb. Sesshoumaru stood there, not knowing what to do or say. His body was there but his mind wasn't. It was as if his mind had a body of its own and left. But he was pretty sure with about one thing.

If Rin dies and leaves him in this world.

His will to live will die with her.

There was an eerie silence at the cottage right now. Kagome was still peacefully asleep while Inuyasha and Sango stared at each other. Her hand still grabbing onto Inuyasha's arm as they stood in the awkward stillness. No one moved a muscle, the only thing that was heard was the soft breathing of the 3 people.

Inuyasha opened his mouth to say something but Sango clamped her other hand over to shut him up. She started to walk towards the door that leads to the river with Inuyasha close behind her. When they got out Sango swiftly turned around and glared at Inuyasha.

"So?" She asked while she crossed her arms.

"So what?"

"Aren't you going to tell me who she is? Or tell me WHAT it is cause I'm pretty sure it ain't human."

"What do you mean? She IS human!" `Well, used to be. If you call spirits still humans.' He thought.

"Excuse me? EXCUSE ME?!? HUMAN???" She shouted. "She is nothing like a human. Sure she may look like one but that doesn't prove that she IS one. Who is she Inuyasha?"

"Uh… something from your imagination?" She replied lamely. It wasn't as if he knew what to say. Kagome had told him she didn't want anyone else to know her secret.

"Yeah… sure Inuyasha. I totally believe you." She said sarcastically. "Com'on! You can tell me! I'm your friend! You can trust me with any secret! Who is she?" Inuyasha was stumped. He didn't know what to do.

"Uh… She's…"

"Inuyasha? Are you out there?" Asked a quiet voice. Both Sango and Inuyasha turned to face a little girl rubbing her eyes. She yawned and smiled sleepily as she walked towards Inuyasha and Sango. `What the hell is she doing?" Inuyasha thought as she stopped beside him. She lifted her hand to her mouth again to cover her yawn. Kagome turned towards Sango and gave her a warm but tired smile.

"Hello." Kagome said as she looked up to face Sango. "Are you one of brother Inu's friends?" Inuyasha raised an eyebrow and looked and Sango. There was another silence before Sango spoke.

"Yes I am. And who might you be?" She asked sweetly.

Kagome smiled and lifted her hand up to shake Sango's. "My name is Tsuki. Nice to meet you sister Sango." Kagome replied as sweetly as Sango did. Inuyasha stared at Kagome's raised hand. She had probably changed back into a human form but in the form of her ghost body so when Sango touches her, it won't go through.

Sango looked at Tsuki's hand and smirked. `Now I can prove to Inuyasha that she isn't a real human.' She though as she reached out to grab the little girl's. But surprisingly, Sango's hand didn't go through. She blinked when she place her hand back to her side. She was SURE that she was able to go through her. Had she imagined it?

Tsuki/Kagome tugged on Inuyasha's pants and he looked down at her. "Brother Inu? Me tired. Can I go back to sleep?" She asked politely as she rubbed her eyes again. Inuyasha nodded and she started walking towards the cottage again when Sango stopped in front of her.

"Who are you exactly?" Sango asked. "I have NEVER seen you before and you looked awfully like one of my good friend Kagome." Tsuki/Kagome looked sweetly and innocently at Sango before replying.

"Uh huh, Kagome is my sister." She replied before she walked around Sango to go back into the house. Which was perfect timing too because Inuyasha stare that Kagome's power had not fully healed yet and if Sango looked back now, she could see through Kagome/Tsuki's body.

When Sango heard the door shut, she looked at Inuyasha with a big smile. "I never knew you liked kids Inu!" She replied while grinning. "Kagome's little sister is SOOO ADORABLE!!! Why didn't you tell me that she had a little sister and that she is at your house? Speaking about your house, where's Kagome?" Inuyasha froze again. NOW what was he suppose to say?

"Uh… her mom came to… pick her up?" Sango frowned and looked at him. "Why does it feel like your lying to me? And even if her mom came to pick her up, then why is her sister at your place?"

"I WAS BORED!" Tsuki yelled through the window Which caught the two teen's attention. "SIS WAS SICK SO THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO."

"GO BACK TO BED K-TSUKI!" Inuyasha yelled and tried to stay focus for Sango was staring at him oddly. "YOU NEED REST AND I AIN'T GOING TO GET KILLED BY YOUR MOM CAUSE YOU DIDN'T!" Sango rolled her eyes as she saw Tsuki leave the window.

"And I thought you actually liked kids too." She stated as she started walking towards the cottage.

"What can I say? They get on my nerves sometimes." He replied while smirking. Thank god he didn't get caught or let Kagome's secret spill.

~ * ~ * ~ * ~

"Well, I got to go. It's late anyways. Bye Yasha, bye Tsuki, see you guys next time k?" Sango said over her shoulder as she walked away. She waved good bye and ran. When she left Inuyasha looked at Kagome who was jumping around and humming.

"What are you so happy for?" He asked.

"Nothing, I'm happy that I helped you out of a tight situation." Kagome smiled.

"Ok, right. So how are you feeling right now?"

"I feel fine, but a few more hours of sleep will do me good." She answered as she yawned and started walking towards the bed. Inuyasha shrugged. Since Sango knows about the whole Kagome and Tsuki thing, why not tell some other people too?

"MUKIRE??? ARE YOU HOME?"

~ * ~ * ~ * ~

Kagome flopped down onto Inuyasha's bed and sighed. His bed was soft. A lot softer then the ground or her village bed. She could easily sleep on this bed with no problem what so ever. `Man… what I would do to get a bed like this back then.' She though as she stuff her face into Inuyasha's pillow. She really wouldn't mind staying with Inuyasha and her friends forever if she never got to leave to the afterlife. As long as she gets the bed.

Kagome closed her eyes as she wrapped herself with the blanket. When she fell asleep she had a dream that she was floating in thin air with some other people that looked strangely like her.

"So, it seems like she likes another guy." Replied the one dressed in red with the word "devil" written on her shirt. The one in a white dress with the word `angel' nodded.

"It seems so indeed." She said.

"Who are you people? Do I know you?" Kagome asked quietly.

"Oh dear girl, you don't recognize us? I'm the devil of you and she's." She pointed to the girl dressed in white. "She's the so called `Angel' of you." The devil replied as the angel glared at her.

"Whatever devil, any ways Kagome, before you come here, we were talking about the guy you are seeing." The devil nodded. "I think he's pretty hot. Nice taste Kag." The angel whacked the devil on the head.

"You stupid! You think she's ready for another relationship? She just got out of one."

"Just? JUST? Excuse me! Are you saying 4 years is JUST?" The devil sneered. The angel glared at her. "Well she still liked him during those few years miss know-it-all. It was When she met Inuyasha that she was slowly healing." Kagome blushed, why are they talking about her like she wasn't even there?

"Uh… guys? I mean girls? I mean uh… what are we talking about?" Kagome asked, unsure what to call these mysterious people who they called themselves devil and angel. Too bad for her they ignored her.

"Well sor-ry about that. Esh man… what's wrong with you?!" The devil yelled at the angel who just glared back. "Nothing's wrong with me. The person that has a problem is not me and Kagome." The devil narrowed her eyes. "HEY!!! Who are you saying has a problem huh?" She asked threatenly.

The angel took a deep breath. "Ok… read my lips. YOU!!!" She screamed at the devil. "Of course it's you! Who else is as stupid as you?" the angel answered angrily. The devil growled. "Some angel you are."

"I know. I'm a special kind of angel. Instead of the devil being more violent, it's ME who's more violent and stronger. So you better just shut up and listen to everything I goddamn say ya hear?" The devil growled loudly. "THAT'S IT!!!" She screamed before she lunged herself at the angel and they began fighting each other. Kagome sighed as she just slapped her forehead with her hand. Is this how her mind works? No wonder she always thought something was wrong with her…

~ * ~ * ~ * ~

"Do you think she's going to be ok?" Mr. Nagari asked Sesshoumaru as he held his wife. How could his innocent daughter Rin be in a situation like this?

Sesshoumaru didn't answer as she stared at the blank wall in front of him. The doctor and nurses were in Rin's room for quite awhile now. He couldn't help but worry about her. What the hell happened to her at the party? He had NEVER seen her like that before. It still stung his heart when he remembered what she did and said to him.

~ Flash-back ~

"R-Rin? Are you ok?" Sess managed to say as he quickly went to her side. When Rin heard someone's voice she quickly got up into a sitting position. She saw someone walking towards her and screamed. She quickly shuffled behind her and away from Sesshoumaru. "Get away from me!" she hollered as she moved from being touched. Sess blinked and starting walking towards her. Rin shrieked again and scamper back. "D-don't touch me!

"STAY BACK!!! If any of you moves I'm-I'm going to jump!" She spat as she opened the window and a strong breeze blew in. Sess stopped in his tracks. What the hell was Rin doing? "Rin?" He asked before carefully taking a step towards her. "Stop! Don't move! I'm going to jump if you move any closer!" She snarled and climbed onto the window ledge holding the side as supporters.

~ End of Flash-back ~

Those words had hurted a lot. She said those to him like she was talking to people who were trying to kidnap her. Said that to him! Sesshoumaru Takashi, her boyfriend!!! When she had hollered him to stay away from her, he couldn't believe that. When she ran towards the window and opened it, he couldn't believe that either. What happened to the sweet old Rin who would cuddle him for comfort? If she was depressed or upset, she usually would had ran towards him crying her eyes out hugging him. Something was very wrong here.

"I knew we shouldn't have let me invite so many people. I knew we shouldn't have left the house to drive her relatives here. We should had only let her invite her closest friends and family. I should had NEVER let her out of my sight." Mr. Nagari replied as she sagged a bit, trying to hold his tears but he was failing to do so. He place one of his hands to cover half of his face as he stared at his wife, who still laid motionless. "If there was only a way for me to change everything. You wouldn't be in this situation right now." The tears began slowly as he continued talking. "Rin, I'm so sorry. I let you down my baby daughter." Sesshoumaru looked at the old man before he sighed.

Just then the doctors came back out of the room with the nurses. Sesshoumaru and Mr. Nagari quickly stood up and greeted the doctor.

"Doctor! How's my baby daughter? Is she ok? Is she?" He asked, fear was wrapped around each and every word he spoke." The Doctor didn't say anything and that made Sesshoumaru pissed off.

"How is she?" Sesshoumaru asked in the calmest voice he could summon up. But as each and every passing second, he had to reframe himself from ripping the doctor apart, limb by limb.

"Mr. Nagari, Mr. Takashi, The young girl Rin is still alive." Sess and Rin' father let out a sigh of relief. "However, she is still unconscious at the moment right now, but you may go in too see her." After the speech was done, the doctor left with the nurses. One stayed back to check up on Mrs. Nagari.

Mr. Nagari and Sesshoumaru walked up to Rin's bed. She still laid there motionless and as pale as ever. The sight was just horrible to Mr. Nagari. Rin seemed so dead like already. Like someone had just sucked up her soul and left the remains here. She laid there like an empty shell. Mr. Nagari broke down crying.

"Thank the lord your still alive!" He sobbed. "I thought I losted you for a minute. Please Rin, You can't give up on us now. Stay strong girl. Daddy's right here with you. You're going to be ok baby." Sesshoumaru sighed a relief. Even though she was still back into a coma, at least she was still alive. Now only if there was something he could do to help Rin…

"I wonder how this ever happened to you Rin. "Mr. Nagari continued. "Every time you had a party and invited everyone. Nothing ever happened before! What happen now?"

Sesshoumaru looked back at the old man. What did happen? It was true that every year Rin had a party like this, but it was the first time someone ever spiked the drink AND hurted her like this. `I guess this is one of the ways I can help her.' He muttered quietly to himself. How he hated that he had to leave Rin's side, but he was going to fins out who did this to her.

"I have to go someone Mr. Nagari, I'll be back soon to check up on her." He said as he walked out the door. When he got outside, he reached into his pocket and flipped open his cell phone and made some calls.

~ * ~ * ~ * ~

"Aww… how sweet of you Inuyasha! Taking care of Kagome's little sister. You're so nice, wait till you mother hears about this!" Mukire exclaimed.

"Yeah… I'm nice. She's sleeping in my room right now ok? Try not to wake her up." Inuyasha asked his aunt. Since Sango knew about Tsuki, why not tell his aunt too? Saves the trouble of telling her later when she finds her instead of Kagome.

Inuyasha quietly walked into his room and opened the door leading the river. He was about to step out when he heard someone talking. He turned around to see Kagome rolling around mumbling stuff. Her face was covered with the blanket and her being asleep muffled her voice and he couldn't hear what she said. He leaned towards her to see if she would say more. After a few minutes he gave up and walked back to the door only to hear someone say. "You're weird."

He turned back to face Kagome again to see if she was awake. But she wasn't. He sighed and walked back towards his bed. He had forgotten how tired he was but Kagome was asleep on his bed already. <You stupid, the bed is big enough for the both of you, besides, she's in her child form anyways.> Inuyasha yawned and lay back onto his bed. He decided to let Kagome keep the blanket and he closed his eyes to rest.

He heard Kagome shuffling and opened his eye to see what she was doing. He saw her resting on his chest, sleeping soundly. Inuyasha laughed as he watched the little girl sleep. "Warmth hogger." He muttered with a smile. She had already the blanket to keep her warm, now she decided to use Inuyasha as a pillow. He smile softly, she was innocent in her ghost form. Or her 13 year old form. And she was so energetic and different when she was in her other form.

He wrapped his arm around Kagome's waist as she snuggled against him for more warmth. `Oh well, he thought, might as well get some sleep.' Getting comfortable on his bed, he hugged Kagome close as to tell her he'll protect her from any harm. She sighed quietly as she rested.

"Good night Kagome." Inuyasha whispered quietly as he kissed her on the cheek. He watched as a slight smile curved on her lips when he did that and he couldn't help himself but smile with her. `Yea, have a good night Kagome. I better get some sleep too. Who knows what Kagome will do tomorrow when she wakes up? Inuyasha chuckled lightly as he fell asleep.

Sango sat down onto a chair as she thought things through. She still kind of doubt Tsuki. She was pretty sure that she was able to go through her when she was asleep. `Or may be it's because I lack sleep.' She thought. Sango sighed, this was making her think too much. May be she would call Miroku?

She picked up the phone and started to dial Miroku's number. She tapped her fingers against the table as she waited for someone to pick up. The phone rang twice before Miroku picked up and once he did, Sango knew she shouldn't have called him.

"Sango my love! Did you call me to tell me you want to reconsider the offer I gave you?" Miroku said happily through the phone. Sango rolled her eyes. After Rin's party, Sango had woken up dizzy and feeling awkward. She still didn't remember what happened anyways. So Miroku offered to explain it to her. After he was done, he had asked her out on a date as a payment for helping her during the party AND telling her what happened.

Sango hanged up on Miroku and sighed. She slid down on her chair slightly and sighed again. Now she remembered why she didn't want to call him in the first place.

SEE SEE!!! I don't think I left a cliffhanger this time! See!!! I'm a good girl. Anyways, school starts on the Tuesday for me. Yup, and I didn't even go back to school shopping yet. Kind of freak out because I'm going to high school and stuff. No of my friends are in my classes. Sigh… -_- oh well. That's chapter 13 for you guys out there. Have fun reading it!
