Hey everyone! What's up? Yup, school is getting more annoying right now. But it's still kind of fun… I guess. XP anyways, since I had a ton of homework today but they involved using the computer, I decided to use some of my time to write this. It may be short but hey, at least I update right?
Chapter 15
She ain't as clueless as you think she is.
The clock was slowly ticking as Kagome sat on the bed waiting. It was a Monday and Inuyasha went to school, even though he had tried to convince his aunt to let him stay to watch over Tsuki. But Mukire told him she can watch after her.
Mukire entered the room and smiled gently. "Hello dear, what are you doing?" (We all know that Tsuki is Kagome right? So does it matter which name I use? Ok… since Mukire doesn't know about Tsuki really being Kagome, I'll use her name instead.)
Tsuki turned to face Mukire and smiled back. "I'm not doing anything right now." Mukire nodded but looked puzzled. "Tsuki? How old are you?"
"I'm 13, why?"
"Don't you have school?" Tsuki stared at the wall and closed her eyes. "My school is somewhere far away, my mother came over here to take care of Kagome because we heard that she was sick. I got a few days off from school but mother is home schooling me for a bit." Mukire nodded.
"I see, so why didn't you go back home with Kagome?" Tsuki sighed softy, it was still weird talking about herself when she pretended to be someone else. "Kagome wanted me to stay and get to know Inuyasha more. And there was nothing at Kagome's place that I can find interesting." Mukire laughed. "That's true, at least here you can play outside right?
Tsuki nodded happily. "I really like this river, but… even though I love it and make me feel so safe and happy, and I still can't somehow feel sad at the same time…" Mukire blinked and looked down at the little girl.
"What do you mean? How can you feel happy and sad at the same time?" Tsuki sighed. She loved the river, she really did, even when she was still alive. And she still loves it even after she had died. But every time she looks at it, a slight pain still aches in her heart, and she knew why… and what's causing it. `Sonaki... even after all these years, you still remain in my heart, even though I'm pretty sure I have fallen for Inuyasha, I can't help but feel I'm betraying you, betraying our love…' Tsuki laughed mentally. `Betrayed? I didn't betray anyone. If it was anyone who did it were you Sonaki!' Mukire looked worriedly as she saw emotion cross Tsuki face. First it was happy, then sad, then anger.
`What is she thinking about?' Mukire thought as she saw Tsuki struggling with her own emotions.
She didn't know anymore, she had thought that she had made her decision to stay with Inuyasha. Inuyasha made her happy, made her trust other people, Inuyasha gave her another chance at love. But it didn't mean that she still didn't love Sonaki. So what if he had killed her? He must have a good reason.
<Yeah… the reason was that he didn't love you, he was only playing with your feelings. Just like how you're doing it with Inuyasha. You're playing with HIS feelings so someone can suffer like you. You think it's unfair that you have to suffer alone, so you want to make someone lese go through the pain you have endured for 4 years.> Tsuki head shot up. Was that the only reason why she thinks she loves Inuyasha? She just wanted someone to feel her pain? The pain of someone you love dearly betray you? She shook her head.
`No… I can't harm Inuyasha like that. He's too nice to me. I won't do something like that to him!'
"Kagome… I think your forgetting what we talking about last night…" replied the angel. Tsuki's eyes went wide and her head started to feel all dizzy-like.
"Aunt Mukire? I feel tired and sleepy, I think I'll take a nap. Can you please tell Inuyasha to wake me up when he's home?" She said weakly. Mukire nodded and left the room. Tsuki collapsed onto Inuyasha's bed as she fell into darkness only to see her two different minds.
The angel and the devil.
Last night when she went to bed early. It was raining hard so it was dark really soon. They had a talk about Kagome's life, past and present. And about Inuyasha….
In her heart she knew she can't hurt Inuyasha, can't hurt him physically or mentally. The devil and angel had told her about what might happen if she decides to stay here or leave here. She couldn't stand living in the after life if she knew Inuyasha wasn't living life happy.
Kagome sighed, her life seemed so mess up right now. She could never stay with the one person she loved for a long time. She had liked only two guys in the world. And they were Inuyasha and sadly Sonaki. And now, she had learned that she can't have either of them.
~ Flash-back~ (this is when they told her about Inuyasha and Sonaki.)
`Life is so unfair to me. It doesn't like me, that's why it makes life so miserable for me.'
Kagome felt tears stinging in her eyes but refused to let them fall. She had been crying too often already.
<Whatever happened to the strong girl who kept her emotions inside? If she felt sad, she kept is inside and smiled.>
`That girl is dead.'
<I can see that much. You think I'm clueless? Now you cry over the stupid things.>
`Are you saying Sonaki is stupid?'
<Are you saying that Sonaki is more important then Inuyasha to you?>
`I didn't say that!'
<Well, you only said Sonaki. Are you saying that Inuyasha is stupid and is not worth your tears?>
`I NEVER SAID THAT!!!'
"Com'on angel, I think you messed up with her mind enough."
"But it's fun! Besides, I need to know which one she likes better." Kagome blinked.
"Yo-you guys are my conscience?"
The angel and devil nodded and smiled. "Of course we are. How else can we talk to you?" Kagome shrugged and looked away.
"So… what's your answer?" Kagome looked up "What so you mean?"
"Oh com'on!" The devil asked impatiently. "We don't have all night you know? So who do you like better? Inuyasha or Sonaki?" Kagome looked away again. "I don't know…" The devil sighed as well as the angel.
"This is hopeless… We can't even read your mind if you don't know the answer for yourself."
"Then stop bugging me!" Kagome snapped and turned away. "I'm old enough to look after myself." The angel snorted. "Sure you are… that's why you're a ghost now." Kagome fell silent, that was kinda true….
"See, I know I'm always right. I ain't as clueless as you think I am Kagome" The angel replied when she heard Kagome's thoughts.
"Man! Can you guys not read my mind?" Kagome asked as politely as she could. I mean… if someone can read your mind? How can you have any time alone? To think things to yourself. To keep secrets to yourself?
"We can't. We don't have a choice. Whatever you're thinking about will be like you saying it out yourself. Your mind talks to us because we are part of your mind. Understand?" Kagome growled slightly but didn't say anything.
~End of Flash-back~
She wondered what she did to deserve all this. She had been kind and helpful at the village. What did she do wrong that she had to die for it? Sure she did ditch her friends a couple of times to see Sonaki. And didn't always finish her chores because Sonaki was waiting for her. She left her family worrying when she went to the river with Sonaki and came home later then allowed. She also told lies to help protect Sonaki when he did something wrong.
Ok… maybe she did a lot of stuff that she should be punished for. But was it that bad to make her die? And make her die by the hands of the person whom she loved? The one person who caused her to do those bad things?
Kagome sighed, when was Inuyasha getting home? She looked back to the clock only to see 5 minutes had passed with all the talking and thinking she had just done.
Life was just unfair.

Inuyasha sat in his chair twirling his pencil in his hand. He was bored out of his mind. Since he got to school, Kikyo had been stalking him and trying to start convocation. Inuyasha had either ignored her or told her to go to hell. He wasn't in the mood for her.
There was recent news about Rin's condition. She had almost died twice during this week. It was also heard that someone was trying to kill her. The doctor had found the oxygen mask and all the machines were broken when he walked into the room to check up on her. Sesshoumaru nearly went on a rampage when he heard that and he refused to go to school and spend day after day watching her.
Inuyasha looked around in his classroom. Only Miroku and he had showed up in school. `Where's Sango?' He thought and decided to ask Miroku.
"But I can't until this stupid class ends." He whispered quietly. Sure Miss Shinde was nice but she talks waaaay too much. She was also the reason why he had figured out that Kagome was a ghost and had thanked her for that. Well, in his mind he had thanked her. She would probably think he was insane if he told her the truth.
"And that is what happened in 1874. I hope you guys took down some notes so you can remember them and study them for the exams." Miss. Shinde replied. "Ok class. You are all dismissed. Today's homework is to read pages 65 -72 and do questions 1, 2, 5, 6, and 9. Your homework will be due on Wednesday. Class dismissed." Everyone started to pack up and get ready to leave Miss Shinde stood at the doors, saying goodbyes to the class. When Inuyasha walked by, she whispered quietly so only he could hear her.
"You can't hide her forever. Someone is going to find out." Inuyasha looked at her but before he could say anything he was pushed out the door by the other students.
`How does she know?' He thought. `Can she be talking about Kagome?'
"May be she ain't as clueless as I had made her to be…" He mumbled.

Sango was at home writing down something. We took a deep breath and wipe the sweat from her forehead. Things were getting more confusing now that she had thought about it. The appearance of Tsuki, the accident at the party. There was really something wrong with that picture. It doesn't make sense.
Sango had thought that Tsuki was keeping a secret, and she wanted to know about it. She had one evidence to prove that something was awkward about her. But she wanted to look for more.
"The part when she had said my name without me or Inuyasha telling her seems unbelievable."
~Flash-back~
"Hello. Are you one of brother Inu's friends?"
"Yes I am. And who might you be?"
"My name is Tsuki. Nice to meet you sister Sango."
~End of Flash-back~
"Your mistake goes to my advantage. I will uncover your secret if that's the last thing I do!" Sango said proudly.
"I ain't as clueless as you think I am."
