Chapter 2 What is His Name Going to be...

For about two years the great treatment went on, then he was sent to the zoo. He had a cage to himself. This cage had grass and three trees in it. It also had a small pond so he could swim. But he still didn't have a name.

"Why does it need a name?" the co-workers argued "It's not like it will knows the difference."

"It needs a name to attract costumers." Naraku answered "Now what should we call you?" he said grabbing the ten year old Hanyou by the collar of his shirt. The Hanyou whimpered, his ears laid back against his head and eyes shut tight, expecting to be struck.

"What? Do you think I'm going to hit you?" Naraku cooed, placing him down gently "I wouldn't hurt you" he reached down to pat him on the head, but the Hanyou declined to he ground covering his head with his arms.

Naraku was becoming annoyed `This Hanyou is getting on my nerves. If he acts like this when we show him, we'll be ruined!'He grabbed the Hanyou and wrapped his arms around him. In a total panic, the he yelped and bit Naraku's arm.

Naraku cringed and pushed the Hanyou away. Rubbing his arm he said, "Fine, we'll name you Inuyasha... I don't have any more purpose to see this mutt! Get it out of my sight!" he said angrily. With that three of his assistants grabbed the terrified Inuyasha and threw him into his new cage. Then they shut down the zoo and left for their homes.
