“SIT BOY!” *thud*

“Kagome!”

Kagome stood, her raven black hair wet with tears. Her voice, even though at the faintest of whispers, carried throughout the wind, “I don't love you anymore.” Hopping down into the well, she disappeared in a glimmer of light. Inuyasha leapt in after her. Damn it I really think she means it, he thought. He ran towards her house during modern day Tokyo, only to stop and smell a demon.

“Come on out demon and show yourself!” He yelled at the top of his lungs, but not so much as a whisper broke out in the silent town. Then he saw her. A quick silver haired woman charged to a nearby small house. Following her he prepared to attack, but stopped short when she turned around and snarled.

“Whomever you are let me say if I catch you, you won't have a second breath soon.” Whipping around she stalked through the doorway.

Inuyasha jumped onto the tree next to a bathroom window. Peering through it he saw her dabbing her flawless skin with a towel, trailing from her shoulders to her feet. As if she could sense he was there she looked up, her moss green eyes with anger. Quickly getting dressed she hurled herself out through the window, toppling Inuyasha onto the ground below.

“Who are you?” She growled at him.

“Oui wench, who the hell are you and what are you doing here?”

As if to be startled by him, she smoothed her short blue skirt and answered boldly, “I am Kanyusumi. Now as I asked before who are YOU and what the hell were you doing spying on me?!”

“I was looking for a friend and happened to come across you. Now move before I tear your entrails out.” He stepped forward only to be stopped by her again.

“Excuse me you Baka, but if you were really looking for your friend, then why did you spy on ME? And does she want to be found?”

Inuyasha immediately became upset and annoyed. Kanyusumi looked at him, knowing she offended him.

“My apologies but she is upset at you isn't she?”

“What is it to you wench?”

She looked at him carefully, “Maybe you would like to discuss it over some dinner. You look hungry.”

“Keh, fine as long as it is Ramen.”

Kanyusumi laughed a melody filled laugh, “Ramen it is.”

As Inuyasha ate his third bowl of Ramen he explained his side to Kanyusumi, already noticing how open he was to her.

“So Kanyusumi, why do you live in the present day? Certainly not as fun or interesting as the feudal era.” He grumbled.

“I cannot go back, not after so many demons tried killing me because of what I am. Miss Hakina took me in when I was badly bruised and beaten. I do not even remember how to go back, not like I want to.” She growled. As soon as he wanted to make a statement but she stopped him.

“It is getting late, I must be going. It was nice meeting you Inuyasha.”

As she walked up the stairs he mumbled, “It was nice meeting you too.”
