It was a dark and stromy night when the Shikon Jewel came into the preistess, Kikyo's possession. The jewel wasn't the only thing that came into her care also the former protector of the jewel was brought to her in hopes she could save the priestess.

Kikyo: What happened to her?"

Demon Slayer: Her village was attacked by hawreds ( A/N forghivce me for my spelling ^^ thank- you) of demon. It was totally destroyed. She's the only survivor."

Kikyo: I see, bring her inside and lay her on the futon. I'll see what I can do.

Demon Slayer: " Good, she will be under your care and she will be your responsiblity Lady Kikyo. If she recovers she'll help you protect the jewel.

Kikyo: ( atleast I won't be doing this alone) ( A/N the () are thoughts just so you know)

After the Demon Slayers left, Kikyo walked into her hut clutching the Jewel in her hand while staring at teh girl's blood covered face.

Kikyo: ( I better take care of her or she will surely suffer from blood loss)

Kikyo put the jewel around her neck so free her hands. She walked over to Keada's sleeping form and shakes her awake.

Kikyo: Keada I need your help.

Keada: *wiping eyes from sleep* yes big sister what is it?

( A?N the ** are actions & thoughts just so you know plaese don't mad for all the interruptions)

Kikyo: I need you to get me some clean water.

Keada: Why big sister?

Kikyo: I need to clean and dress this girl's wounds.

Keade: * looks at the unconsious form & gasps* right away * runs out of hut to get water*

Well that was the first chapter in my dreadfully long story ^^ well it's not that dreadful atleast I hope not anyway…..please review no flames please I don't know if I can take it but anyway.if you liked it there is more on the way if you review
