~ Back at Kikyo's village~

Figure: Damn ! When will there going to be an opening for me to get the damn jewel?!?!?! Does this never sleep or something.

~ 3 days later~

Kagome is walking back to Kikyo's village. She passes the Sacred Tree not noticing the demon perched in it.

Figure: ( what the hell is SHE doing I thought she left for good. Feh only make it more of a challenge to get the damn jewel * watching her closely* why is she walking alone anyway? Why do I care?)

Kagome: stops I don't like being watched

Figure: * shocked * ( how did she know I was here ?!?!?! and watching her no less …………why WAS I watching her anyway???)

The Figure jumped out of the tree and landed a few yards away from her. She was shocked, but she didn't show it, to see the figure had long silver hair, KAWAII little dog ears on top of his head, and was dressed in a red haori (sp?)

Kagome: * stares at figure* ( he's handsome and those ears are SO cute) * snaps out of her daze* Why are you here demon?!?!

Figure: ( is she STUPID, she is unarmed AND askign stupid questions that could get her killed) I'm here for the jewel

Kagome: * walks up to him & pulls out the jewel from her shirt & holds it out to him* take it then

Figure: * blinks in confusion* wait YOU had the jewel this whole time ?!?!?!

Kagome: well of course Kikyo doesn't know how to take of the jewel yet or know of the dangers that surround it.

Figure: you were testing her?

Kagome * smiles wickedly* me? Of course not I have the upmost faith in Kikyo. Are you going to take the jewel or not ?

Figure: * stares at jewel in her palm* why are ya just handing it over? I am NOT giving it back if I take it

Kagome : I know

Figure: then why give it to me isn't it your job to protect it from demons ?

Kagome : ya demons but you're a HALF-demon you don't want to use it like they do you want to use it for acceptance that is not bad in my opinion

Figure: how do you know I want acceptance …..all I want is power

Kagome : no it IS acceptance you want not power. If you DID seek the power of the jewel you would have taken it by now. The jewel calls all those who have evil desires to it and it doesn't seem to be calling you so you Do want acceptance and DON'T want power

Figure: Keh

Kagome: What's your name?

Figure: why do you want to know ?

Kagome: it feels a little * making a little gesture with fingers* odd talking to someone and not know their name

Figure: shocked but not showing it ( she wants to know my name? ) keh Inuyasha though I don't why you want to know as soon as I turn around you'll kill me anyway…

Kagome: why would I do that you haven't done anything wrong so why on earth would I ?

Inuyasha: cuz I want the jewel

Kagome: so * looks at setting sun* well I better go it was nice meeting you Inuyasha * walks towards village*

Inuyasha : ( nice meeting me ?) feh *leaps into sacred tree *

~ at village~

Keada is sitting outside of her and kikyo's hut drawng in the dirt when she sees Kagome walking towards her.

Keada: gasps in surprise KAGOME!!!!!!!!!!! *runs to her *

Kagome notices Keada running towards her with a huge smile on here face. Keada is so excite4d to see Kagome that she knocks Kagome flat on her butt.

Kagome: ooph !! it's nice to see you too Keada

Keada: Oh Kagome I missed you so much Kikyo's been so busy she hasn't even spent anytime with me she has been busy with the villagers and the jewel.

Kagome: I see well that is too bad….because I have the jewel right here with me * pulls jewel out of shirt*

Keada : * shocked* you did really wow Sister Kikyo isn;'t going to be happy when she finds out

Kagome: well I AM the real protector of the jewel it goes everywhere with me no matter what come on I want to see Kikyo's expression when she finds the jewel missing * pleased look on her face*

Kikyo: * walks up to the girls * so you've come back

Kagome: yes now Kikyo I hope you protected my jewel

Kikyo: of course follow me

~ at shrine where the Shikon Jewel is suppose to be ~

Kikyo: * running around franticly* where is it I swear it was here I * running back and forth across room*

( A/N : can you see Kikyo doing that though……………………….it's ok I couldn't either )

Kagome and Keada were watching Kikyo search EVERY corner of the shrine and when I say every I mean every I mean she found every piece of dust in that place.

Kagome: ( wow I never knew Kikyo could be this entertaining) * smiling*

Keada: * taking a glance at Kagome* ( she is really enjoying this……it is kinda funny though) * smiles too*

Kikyo notices the smiles on Kagome and Keada's faces.

Kikyo: KAGOME!!!!!!!!!!! I lost the jewel and your smiling about it * angry wait no pissed *

Kagome: * still smiling* I was ust thinking I was gone for 8 days and you never knew

Kikyo: knew what

Kagome* pulls the jewel out yet again * that I had the jewel this whole time

Kikyo: * stares at jewel in Kagome's palm* you must think I'm a horrible priestess don't you

Kagome: no not at all it jst means I have to stay longer before I return to my village for a visit…………well anyway I have had a long day I am going to bed *begins to walk out * Good night Kikyo night Keada * walks out*

Kikyo & Keada : good night Kagome
