A/N: my goodness, it has been like…months since I have last touched this story!!! I have been thinking SOO hard to make you peoples happy!!!!! Slave labor I tells ya!!!!! But oh well!!! But yeah, to make this more than a seemingly pointless fic, I have made the plot a little more interesting! This chappy is basically a filler to inform you!! but yeah, here is chappy 5!! Enjoy!!!!!

Kagome's Blessing in a Curse

Chapter five

As Kagome and Sesshou-Maru were heading to the God tree, Lady Fate was watching them closely. `Good…my decision to allow her to be demon did not addle her brains, and did not waste my shame at running…' Lady Fate thought as she watched the two new lovers make their way to her, as she remembered the day she brought shame upon herself.

*Flash Back*

"My lady!! What do you do?" a frantic voce asked as they saw Lady Fate, also known as Artemus, Lady of the Moon, pour a small vial of potion into the mirror of seeing and fate.

"What I do, will make the world the better when the time comes." Artemus said, clearly not happy with being interrupted at her task. "By changing fate and having the girl from the future, turn demon and melt the cold exterior of the demon lord of the West with her love, will change the world and solve many problems we deal with now." Artemus said softly and with wisdom.

"If you insist my Lady." The voice whispered. The voice then turned hard and the hellish figure of Hades stepped out of the shadows to face her, with the red fires of hell at his back. "You have ruined my plan!!" he yelled as the fires flared with his anger. "I will make sure you suffer dearly for it!" he yelled as he disappeared off to only he knew.

`He will have me killed!! My young hope, please be true to me!' Artemus thought with one last look into the mirror at the figure of Kagome training before she whisked herself away in a cloud of silver smoke to hide herself away and to watch over Kagome until the time grew ripe for her plans to be put into action.

*End Flash Back*

`After all these years! I will not let that shame and hard work at protecting the girl, fail!' Artemus thought determined as she turned back to the mirror in which, showed Kagome and Sesshou-Maru at the border of Inu-Yasha's forest.

`We almost there?' Kagome telpapathicly asked.

`Almost. Do you not sense, the sheltered feeling in this wood?' Sesshou-Maru asked her in his mind.

`Yes, I do. But what is it from?'

`One, it is from the barrier that you cast to protect the place. Two, Inu-Yasha protected this forest so well, that there wasn't even a squirrel he didn't know of in it. It was a sanctuary to all animals that wanted to be left alone.' He explained as they started to get closer to the God Tree.

`Wow. I never knew Inu-Yasha took such good care of his territory! I think it is sweet that he protected things!' Kagome mentally squealed.

`Yes, as sweet as it is, we are nearing, and I feel an energy that feels very strong, and very unfamiliar.' His mind whispered.

`Of course. Shall we split up?' Kagome asked, instantly turned serious.

`I don't think it would be to bad an idea…we will meet at the God Tree in one hour. If you are late, I will tear the whole forest down to find you.' he said with possessiveness lacing his words.

`I promise, that I will be back in an hour.' Kagome mentally told him, veering off to the left, leaving Sesshou-Maru with a mental caress.

"Don't be late." His voice whispered in the air, full of a hidden meaning.

"Ah-h-h-h…Sesshou-Maru…one of the chosen by the Goddess of Fate. How I will relish in killing you, and making that damnable woman's shame and effort wasted time!" a cold hard slithering voice whispered in Sessou-Maru's ear. "Oh how I will relish in it!" the voice said once again, sadistic humor and pleasure dripping off every word.

"Wretch, don't dare to-":: crack :: before he could even turn around fully, Sesshou-Maru fell like a rock to the ground after having been hit quite hard on the head by a marble and steel hilt of a great sword.

"Now to find your lover Lord of the Western lands!!!! I may even have some fun with her!!! Our final meeting will be sweet, my dear Artemus!" the evil voice of the twisted ruler of hell, Hades, laughed out as he disappeared with Sesshou-Maru flung over his back, trying to find Kagome.

"No!!!" Artemus yelled out anguished as she watched her years of careful planing falling about her in less that a second. "You weren't supposed to be here you bastard!!!" she screamed into the night.

Nearby, well actually, about one hundred feet away, Miroku, Sango, and Shippou were setting camp, when they heard a voice that would reunite them with their friend. "Let's go see what that was about!" Miroku said as he stopped what he was doing and looked at the others, before walking off.

"Yes. Lets." Sango said as she followed after with Shippou on her shoulder.

About two minuets later, they got to the clearing where the God Tree was, and saw the figure of a woman out-lined in a bright silver moon beam, crying silently as she looked into the sky with look so sad, it could make you want to cry in pity. It was a look that spoke of no hope and crushed dreams.

"Excuse me my Lady, but have you heard anyone yell in this area, because if you have, we would appreciate it if you could direct us to them. We would like to help them." Miroku said softly.

"Artemus…I have no right for the title `my lady'. And the one who yelled so was me…" she said softly.

"What is wrong? We would greatly like to help if we can." Miroku said, shocked that this was who had yelled like that.

"My Kagome…my Sesshou-Maru…my two hopes of redemption with Lord Zeus and Lord Kami and the hopes of the world are in danger." She said softly.

"Kagome-sama is in danger?" Miroku asked with instant anxiety.

"Momma!!!!" Shippou wailed at the thought of Kagome in danger.

"No…I will not lose another one precious to me! Let us help!!" Sango said as she stepped up to the woman.

"How do you know of Kagome? Never mind. Don't Answer. If you can fight Hades, the keeper of hell, then you are welcome to join my cause to save her and Sesshou-Maru!" Artemus said as she turned her back to them. "If you want to, follow me and I will properly attire you for war with the god of hell." She said softly as she walked into the shadows, two humans and a small kitsune demon following.

A/N: what will happen to Sesshou-Maru and Kagome?? will Naraku EVER be brought back into the picture?? Will Inu-Yasha and Kikyo EVER be released from the God Tree?? Will Miroku, Sango, Shippou, and Artemus kick some Hades ass??

***my…how was it?? I was commin' up with this as I typed, so PLEASE don't criticize TO much!!! ^_^;; and yes, I know the names for the gods, are Greek gods!!! I don't know any Japanese gods!!! Except Kami!!! That is as extensive as it gets!!! So now…::mutters:: did I say what Artemus was ruler of…::shrugs and continues:: well now, if I haven't said anything, then Artemus is the goddess of the moon. Hades, as I tell in the story, is the ruler of hell!!!

********* Oh and, I have been getting reviewers that want a lemon and some that don't want one…how to sort this one out…Ah-h-h yes!! I shall actually NAME the chapter some name that flies my way. It will be the only chapter with a name. So, if you want a lemon, read it when it comes out, and if you don't want a lemon, then by-pass it!! I do believe that solves everything…yeah it does!! review please!!! Laters!!! *^_^*
