Kagome: You brought that on yourself you know.

Me: -weeping over my manga- WHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Kagome: You o.k, Gure-chan? … Gure-chan?

Me: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Kagome: -plugs ears- INUYASHA! Do something!

InuYasha: What should I do!?!?

Me: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Kagome: ANYTHING!!!

InuYasha: O.k… Don't be mad at me! -grabs a hold of me-

Me: WAAAHHHHHHH…! -stops crying- Eep?!?

InuYasha: -places me in his lap and rocks me back and forth, rubbing my back gently-

Kagome: AWE! -looks at me and Inu-

Me: -shocked, and stuff- O.O!

InuYasha: -kisses my forehead-

Me: -grins widely- SQUEE! -snuggles back and closes my eyes- (only in my dreams… -pouts-)

:Previously:

“No, wait up perv. You are not getting anywhere near me.” Sango quickly got up and pulled me to my feet. Shippou in hand. “Let's get going, Kagome-chan. I want to go to the hot springs.”

“O…k…” I said questionably, grabbing my boom box and bag (yellow bag… stupid…) and following after her.

But I didn't see the golden eyes staring at me longingly until I was out of sight.

“Ahhh…” Sango said, when she slowly dipped into the springs.

“MmHmm…” I moaned, “You were right Sango, this is great.” I said stretching the last world out slowly, Shippou floating in an inflatable rubber thing by me.

“Hey, Kagome's chan?”

“Hmm?” I asked dunking under the water.

“Can we listen to some more of your songs?” She asked uncertainty.

“Sure Sango-chan!” I waded toward the water's edge. “Why do you think I brought it with me?” I giggled and looked through the case.

After minutes later I found the perfect song. “Oh! Sango-chan! I'm completely in love with this song!”

“Is it a dance song, Kagome?” Cute little Shippou asked floating towards me.

“No Shippou. It's a love song.” And with that I put it in and pressed play and you could here a distant, “Eww.” coming from Shippou.

I started dancing as soon as it came on and started singing along with it, twirling around and pretending to dance with a man, holding my hands out and bowing. You could here Sango's and Shippou's laughter.

I jumped up and down as soon as the music started picking up. Twirling and dancing with my imaginary man, who had stunning silver hair, hypnotizing golden eyes, and kawaii white fluffy dog ears. (If you don't know who I'm talking about, you need metical help…)

They wipe away tears that I cry
The good and the bad times, we've been through them all

I opened my eyes and stared the air picturing my mystery imaginary man, and singing my heart out.

I stared at nothing and dance on the spot hoping secretly that my love would here me. (HINT!!! DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW! oh, he's hearing you alright… pervert…)

“Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling

As soon it was over I collapsed into that water, making a big splash, panting heavily.

“That was great, Kagome-chan!” Sango said clapping her hands and smiling hugely.

“Ya, mama! That was great!!!” Shippou said kicking his little feet towards me on his inflatable ring.

I gasped, “Thanks.” and smiled at Shippou.

“Who were you picturing Kagome-chan? You looked really starry eyed at you dance partner.” Sango chuckled at my horror stricken face.

“No-nobody.” I stumbled, blushing full time.

“Really?” Sango said with a smile.

“O.K! STOP PRESSURING ME!” I wined, “I was thinking about my knight in red o.k!!!”

“Yes,” Sango said with a Cheshire cat smile. “Oh, and when was he YOUR knight in red?”

I just looked at her opening my mouth and closing it several times.

“I thought so.” Sango said smugly, liking teasing her best friend. “Who says I won't snatch him form under you nose?”

I grinned, “Because then wittle Mrikou-roku would be all alone and we don't want that do we?” I started ginning like a Cheshire cat now at her hysterical expression.

“Well, I don't know.” She ginned at my blank face, “I have InuYasha now, and I got all his hot body to myself.” And with that we couldn't hold in much longer, we burst out laughing.

“Oh…” I laughed, “OH!” laughing with tears, “That was…” laughing again, “so FUNNY!”

“I… agree Kagome…-chan.” Sango said also having a hard time speaking.

“Mama, you're funny.” Shippou said hugging my side as best he could in a ring floatie. (Ah HA! I finally remembered what it's called! -grin-)

I giggled, poking him in the stomach, “Want to listen to another one?”

“Yes, please!”

“Yes, Kagome-chan. Let's listen to another one!” Sango said with much enthusiasm.

“O.k! Let's see what we have!” I waded toward the water's edge again. “Oh… Here's another one.” I mumbled, “This song is sometimes how I feel when InuYasha goes to Kikyou.”

“It's o.k, Kagome-chan. We don't have to listen to this.”

“Naw, Sango-chan. Let's listen to it.” I pressed play and the music started,

I started singing again and Shippou started to float in my direction.

I smiled at the memory, when I finally realized how much I loved InuYasha under the God Tree but I was taken out of that memory when Shippou bumped into me and hugged my tight.

Bad boy!

I hugged him back and started singing again.

“You once made this promise
To stay by my side
But after some time you just pushed me a side
You never thought that a girl could be strong
Now I'll show you how to go on”

I stood up and let go of Shippou, and started singing my heart out.

I twirled around once and closed my eyes swaying to the music.

When it was over I opened my eyes and sat down at the spot that I was standing on. I looked at Sango and smiled, “Well, that was entertaining.”

Sango cracked a smile, “Another one, Kagome-chan?”

“Yes! Another!” Shippou said besides me.

“Sure!”

“There's something in your eyes I know I can't resist.
Something in the air, I don't know why
You were hardly there when I was on my own
There's something about you that makes me cry”

I started singing along with the song again, closing my eyes.

Let me receive a sign that your my destiny

I heard Sango get up and walk towards me.

“Gimme a reason for me to believe in, can't you see in my eyes?
That I need a reason, for I am still breathing

Is this the time to say goodbye?

I heard her stop right next to me and just stand there.

I heard Shippou swim towards Sango and I kept singing.

As soon as I finished and opened my eyes, I heard Sango's cry of, “HENTI!!!” and a big -WACK-

I quickly covered myself even though I was under water, and I screamed “SIT BOY!” but there was no thump and I sighed gratefully.

I turned my head to see Sango beating the unconscious Miroku with her boomerang and I giggled, “Sango! I think that's enough! He's already unconscious.”

She just, “hump-ed.” and stomped away to get dressed, and I giggled again quickly getting out and turning off my boom box before it started playing the next song.

I stood up and called out, “Shippou! Where are you?”

“Over here, mama!” I heard Shippou's call and started walking towards the brink of the woods.

Then I heard whispers, “Shippou?” I pushed a bush aside and say he was sitting down and rubbing his head. “Shippou? You o.k? What happened?”

He quickly looked up at me, “Oh, nothing mama.” and smiled, “Just ran into a tree.”

“Oh,” I giggled, “Well, let's get going.” I shivered, “It's cold out here with no clothes on.” I picked him up and started walking towards the hot spring.

When we arrived to camp with an unconscious Miroku, we couldn't see InuYasha anywhere.

“INUYASHA!?!?” I yelled out, “INUYASHA!” but nothing.

“Hmm…” I mumbled, “He must be out…” `with Kikyou.' I finished silently. (she always thinks of the worst possible thing don't she? -grins-)

Sango must have saw my depressed face and said, “Don't worry, Kagome-chan. I'm sure he's o.k.”

Just then Miroku mumbled out, “Oh, Sango… don't be so ruff.” And I burst out laughing at Sango's furious and embarrassed face.

“HENTI!!!”

-WACK-

-TAWACK-

-BOOM-

-THUMP-

And a giggle from Shippou.

I looked at Miroku's unconscious state and sweatdroped, `That's going to hurt in the morning…'

“Kagome-chan? I'm going out for awhile…” Sango said with a huff and stomping away with the Hiraikotsu. (her boomerang…)

“Sango-chan!” I called out and saw her turn around, “Don't be so hard on the trees!” I saw her smile and nod, “Thanks!”

I turned around to see Shippou poking Miroku with a stick and I could barely contain my laughter, “Shippou? What are you doing?”

He looked over at me with a smile, “Sango said that Miroku has germs and to not touch him or else I would get Pervertedtarumous.” (O.O long…)

I couldn't hold my laughter any longer and I fell to the ground laughing, `That sounds EXACTLY like something Sango would say.'

“Mama? Did you touch Miroku?” I laughed some more at his horrorstricken face, “OH NO! Mama hurry, Sango said only cure was to put you hands over your head and hold them there for three days!”

I burst out laughing again because that was just the thing Sango made Miroku do the first time he groped her.

When I finally calmed down I told Shippou, “No, Shippou. I'm,” giggle, “fine.” I smile at him and her grinned back and started poking Miroku again.

`That was great,' I wiped a stray tear from my eyes, `I should do that again sometime.'

I smiled at Shippou's cuteness, and got up; walking towards my yellow bag.

“Hey, Shippou?”

“Hai, mama?”

“Want some pocky?” I said with a grin.

“HAI!” He bounced over towards me with his little paws out pleadingly. (SQUEE! XD)

“O.k, o.k. I got it.” I laughed a little and gave him a pack of pocky. (-giggle-)

“Thank you, mama!” He said and sat down and started to pick at his pocky. (-giggles and grins-)

I walked over towards the woods, `InuYasha… Where are you?' I sighed and called to Shippou, “Shippou?”

“Hai, mama?”

I giggled, “Can you go and get Sango-chan? I think she's been gone long enough.”

“Hai, mama!” He said puffing out his chest and bounced towards, where Sango walked too.

I heard Miroku moan and I quickly walked over towards him. “Miroku? Miroku! You o.k?” Then I felt someone's hand on my behind, “HENTI!!!”

-WACK-

And Miroku fell into the state of unconscious again.

“He'll never learn will he?” I said out loud to nobody.

Sigh, “Well, Shippou should come back soon with Sango…”

“I hope InuYasha's o.k.” I mumbled and walked towards my boom box.

When I got to it I said, “Let's listen to a song…”

I searched through my collection and found a perfect song. “Perfect.” But before it came on I said, “I really need to stop talking to myself.”

I jumped up and started singing my heart out.

By then I started dancing around the camp, still singing.

Miracle

I heard a twig snap and I quickly looked up to see no one.

“Day and night

I walked over towards the brink of the woods looking into its dark depths.

I started walking into it's depths searching for something I didn't know what. (O.O Confusing? Yes.)

Miracle

When I felt I was far enough from camp I closed my eyes and searched with my Miko powers for any familiar aura.

Sango I decided was about a mile over to my left, walking towards Shippou. Sango's aura is a pink color, while Shippou's a light orange. I search farther to come interacted with Miroku's aura, whose was a purple color.

`Wow, I walked farther than I thought.'

I put my Miko powers to there max and I finally found InuYasha whose is red, of course, but there was another color, it was sort of a white aura. Even with the calmness to the aura, it made my shackles rise. It had a black outer aura. This only means that it had a bad intention, or that it was filled with hatedread.

I broke out of my state of awareness and took off sprinting towards where I thought InuYasha was. It was about two miles from were I was standing and I was already tired from walking so far. `I can never make it.'

Just then I heard the bushes rattle, “InuYasha?” I asked out wishing, praying, hoping that it was him and not a demon. I was wrong.

“ROARRRRRR!” (-falls out of my chair laughing- That is used too many times, but I couldn't help it!!!)

“AH!” I yelled and started running again not even looking at what was following me, but if I had I would have seen a rabbit demon looking questionably at me. (BUNNY!!!)

“What did I say?” He shrugged and started hopping in a random direction.

(O.k, everybody. All together now… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! -clears throat- Now back to the story.)

I kept running blindly hoping that the demon wouldn't catch up. (-raises eyesbrows-)

I stopped when I got to a clearing the full moon bearing down at its beautiful majesty. Swaying the grass like an ocean. I started walking into the meadow but before I could go a step I felt a piercing pain through my body, almost making me fall to the ground in pain.

Through my pain though I heard these voices, “You see, my love? She's just a meddling wrench.”

I chuckled through the pain responding to the voice, “That's not anything else I've heard before.”

“You still have strength? Hmm, powerful than I thought my reincarnation.”

`Reincarnation!?!' I managed to think before a spiting pain came through my again, I whimpered out, “Stop! It hurts!” I felled to the ground with a -thump-

“Kikyou, stop!” Another voice came through, “Stop, your hurting her!”

“Inu-InuYasha?” I whimpered out again, another pain shouting through me. “Make it stop!!!” I screamed out in pain again.

I heard a maniacal laugh from who I thought was Kikyou, “Nothing can stop me now, reincarnation. I will have my soul back and then InuYasha and I will finally be together again.”

“Kikyou…” I heard InuYasha mumble.

I gave up, `You love her so much InuYasha don't you? I can never be in your life, can I?'

“Kikyou,” I screamed out as pain shot through me, “I have a proposition for you.” I felt the pain slowly disappearing.

“What do you have that I already taken from you?” Kikyou's evil voice shone through.

“Your soul.” I got up through the pain, even through it was disappearing it still felt like hell. (O.O I said a cuss word, bad me…)

“Kagome don-”

“My soul? I rather like that.” Kikyou cut in. “O.k, you have my attention.”

“If you take my soul with pain, it will be damaged, you know that.”

“Why yes, I do. How'd you know?”

“Keade.” I mumbled out, standing up weakly. “I asked one day, how I could give you my soul.” I opened my eyes and stared at Kikyou, totally blocking InuYasha from my view. “She told me how you could take it and how I could give it.”

“Yes?”

“The easiest, and less painful, “I winced at the pain shooting through my body, “Is for someone I trust to kill me and catch my soul.”

“Yes, I know. My Soul Collectors,” One soul collection flew down and she lifted her hand and let it stand there, “cannot tough something so pure, so innocent.” I screamed in pain, as I felt the sharp pain shoot through me again, “I despise how pure and innocent you are.”

“I am not pure, or innocent.” I mumbled out, “The only thing I have that would make me that way in my love for-” I cut off quickly looking at InuYasha who had on an emotionless mask on, “For someone.” I finished lamely, looking back at Kikyou, “That is why the Jewel chose me, instead of you.” I felt the pain shoot though me again, but I did not back down. “It chose someone that has a heart filled with love and hope. Not someone filled with hate and betrayal.”

“Silence!”

“No!” I yelled out, “I will not be quiet! I will not be the girl who takes everything I can and not walk out form under my protector's shadow!” I whispered out, “Even though my protector is currently protecting another.” I glared at Kikyou, “Even through you can take everything away from me, you cannot take one thing from me.”

“Oh? What is that?” She asked smugly.

“My felling for InuYasha.” I smiled, “You can take everything way but you cannot take that feeling away from me. My love for him to make him smile, to laugh, and to just see him rest under a shady tree to know that everything is alright that he doesn't have to be aware 24/7, to let the people that he trusts to protect him for once.”

She sneered, “Not even if he betrayed you? Killed you for the love of another?” She got close to my face, “If he killed you for my soul?”

I didn't even blink; I knew I had this coming. “I could never hate InuYasha, for wanting to have a life with one he loves. If I did I would have to hate myself, for that is just what I wish for everyday. Just like my favorite song;

I still hear your voice, when you sleep next to me

That was (finally) when InuYasha decided to cut in.

I stared astonished at InuYasha, “InuYas-”

“Stop now!” Kikyou demanded, “InuYasha, I demand you to kill my reincarnation so I can get her soul!”

I looked at Kikyou so quickly that my neck cracked, `Ow…' (I just HATE that!)

She was staring at me with what I thought was pure evil. (-grins- MUHAHAHAHAHA!)

I nodded gravely, and took one last look at InuYasha. He looked unbelievably sad, then a burst of determination broke through his face and our eyes met. I nodded once and closed my eyes, spreading my arms out in surrender.

I waited patiently for my utter demise. (-grin-)

“I'm sorry.” And everything went dark.

Wait. Everything was already dark, I had my eyes closed. I opened then slowly to see InuYasha standing in front of me with a pile of clay at his feet. (-really grins big-)

“Inu-” But I was cut off, and you know by what? InuYasha's lips. Yep, he kissed me.

DONE WIT THIS CHAP! ^--^ The story's not done but this will be like this until the end of June. B/c my computer is being cut off cuz mother said I spend too much time on here. So, BU BYE! Until the end of June!
